Without her trench coat, Michelle stood there in a black bodysuit with fishnet stockings and straps that created an alluring yet tastefully suggestive appearance.

"Michelle, what are you doing?" Felix asked helplessly, but Michelle walked toward him with a blush spreading across her face.

"Felix, I... I like you, and I don't know how else to express my gratitude. This is all I can offer."

Michelle was undeniably attractive, and most men would have lost control by now. But Felix, having seen his fair share of beauty, found her merely average in comparison. Besides, even if she were stunning, he could never act on it-she was family to Karina, after all. "Don't do this, Michelle. I really only see you as a sister. Please put your clothes back on," Felix said as he reached for a robe, but Michelle suddenly lunged at him.

Felix's brows furrowed. Even without his fighting abilities, his body was still far superior to

an ordinary person's. He should have been able to dodge that predictable move easily.

"Take me, Felix! Take me now!" she cried out.

Felix grabbed her shoulders and pushed her away forcefully. "You're not Michelle. Who are you, really?"

After everything that had happened, he started seeing the downside of losing his abilities. Before, he would have instantly spotted this impersonator.

However, Michelle maintained an innocent expression. "Felix, what are you talking about? I just want to repay you. My body is the most precious thing I can offer. Please be gentle... It's my first time."

"Oh, for crying out loud! I can't listen to this crap anymore. First time? Yeah, right, you shameless whore!" Averill's voice exploded through the living room, followed by a loud bang as Michelle flew across the room and lay motionless on the floor. "Averill..." Felix stared at her sudden appearance with an amazed expression. "You didn't leave? You've been here the whole time?"

Averill kissed Felix's cheek playfully. "See? This is the Felix I know-resisting temptation without hesitation. That kiss was your reward."

Seeing Felix deep in thought, she quickly added, "I wasn't secretly protecting you. I just left something here and came back to get it. Then, I stumbled upon this disgusting scene."

Felix wondered if she was being a bit too obvious in her denial, especially since Averill rarely used the front door.

"Let's check on her. She's not dead. I just paralyzed her," Averill said as they walked over

to the woman.

They turned "Michelle" over, and Averill ripped off the facial prosthetics, revealing an ordinary woman's face underneath.

"Who are you? Why are you impersonating Michelle?" Felix demanded.

The woman sneered. "Madam Spring sent me. You must be special to see through my advanced disguise techniques. But crossing Madam Spring? You'd better count your days." Felix felt annoyed-was the Summers family's problem becoming his?

Knowing they would not get any more information, Averill knocked the woman unconscious with a single slap.

"Well, well, Felix. How did you manage to get on Madam Spring's bad side?" Averill asked with interest. "If I remember correctly, that old bat's been around forever and is quite the troublemaker."
