As Andrei strode outside, his expression was grim.

"Did that little bastard Pierce say anything about what he's done?"

Theodore shook his head. "No. He claims he didn't do anything."

"Nonsense!"Andrei snarled, clenching his jaw. "If he did nothing, would Felix bring people from the Earthen Hall of Dragon Alliance straight to my door?

"Bring Pierce to the courtyard. If it comes to it, we'll just have to hand him over to Felix. But I'm not sure if even that will be enough to keep me out of this mess."

You can handle him however you wish!" Upon seeing Andrei in person, Felix instantly sensed his cunning nature. His craftiness was practically written across his face.

"An agreement? It seems you've failed to keep it. Did you know Pierce hired an assassin organization to target me?" Felix said, his voice cold.

Andrei's face paled. He'd restrained Pierce's movements but had neglected to sever his access to outside resources. And to think the boy had the audacity to hire an assassin!

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Andrei took a hard stance. "I had no involvement in this, Mr. Zeller, I swear! That reckless brat did this behind my back. I'll bring him here immediately, and you can take him away however you please-I won't object in the slightest."

Felix smiled. "Only an illegitimate child could be discarded so readily! However, without your instruction, this scheme wouldn't have gotten far. So, it's not just Pierce-I need you to come with me as well."

In a flash, Theodore stepped in front of Felix, his gaze ice-cold. "You've crossed the line."
