Felix raised his hand, signaling the Earthen Hall members to stand down as he calmly looked at Theodore, who was now only inches away.

"No. You're the one who crossed the line," Felix replied. "I respect your loyalty, but that doesn't change anything."

Terrified, Andrei quickly intervened, "Theodore, stand down! Don't mess around!'

It was no joke. Even the members of the Martial Alliance Council from his family acknowledged that the resurgence of Dragon Alliance was unstoppable. Andrei did not dare to make them his enemies.

He was curious to see what backup plan Andrei had in mind that might change his decision. Felix had already heard from Vivian about the incident at Martial Alliance's headquarters, which emboldened Pierce to employ an assassin. That was the reason why Felix directly went to Andrei's location, knowing that Theodore alone wouldn't pose a threat. On top of that, Averill could probably be secretly watching over him.

Surprised, Felix glanced over at Andrei, surprised that Michelle was his backup plan.

"What's your relationship with him?" Felix asked.

"Mr. Hawkins's son is my boyfriend. Felix, I really love him, and he's promised to marry me. Please, could you spare Mr. Hawkins?" she pleaded.

Interesting. If he remembered correctly, Michelle had only recently broken up with her ez. How did she find someone else so quickly? Despite her evident fear, her willingness to make this request showed that her feelings for Andrei's son were genuine. "Alright. I'll grant your request," Felix said. Andrei's life or death didn't matter much to him.

However, it was different for Michelle. Since she was Karina's niece, he needed to look after and protect her. Even if she were to make an unforgivable mistake, he wouldn't feel right handling it himself. He'd defer to Karina. This minor issue was certainly something he could overlook.

After ending the call, Felix smiled at Andrei. "Impressive. Having more sons is indeed beneficial. But let me make one thing clear. If any harm comes to Michelle, every person involved will pay with their lives."

With that, Felix turned to leave, while Pierce was escorted away by the Earthen Hall members, his fate now sealed.
