After they left, Xena initially planned to leave straight away but hesitated and spoke to Felix, "It seems someone is helping you to mend our relationship. Whoever they are, they underestimate the impression you left that night. Capturing Sonny won't change anything. Felix remained silent.

Capturing Sonny and handing him over to Xena was his way of making amends for the distress he had caused Curtis and proving that he was not a coward. As for how Xena chose to see it, that was beyond his control.

When Felix rushed to Ernest's house, he knew he wasn't late when he saw that there were only three dishes on the table.

"You finally showed up! Any longer, and someone would have mistaken vinegar for soy sauce while cooking."
