Sean frowned. "His name is Felix. How do you know him?"
Dylan hurriedly took out his phone and showed a photo. "Is it this guy?"
Sean nodded immediately. "Exactly!"
Since his plan to retaliate against Felix at the bar failed, Dylan had done some digging on Felix. He found that Felix was indeed not an ordinary man.
Dylan smirked. "So, Felix is going to be at the engagement party?"
"Yes. He's on his way now," Sean replied, but something felt off. "Whatever you're planning, I would advise against it. Felix and George are extremely close. Otherwise, why would I call him a big deal?"
Dylan remained unfazed. "You don't understand. Felix used to be a miracle doctor, which is probably why he knows George. But for some reason, he's nothing now-just an ordinary man.
A miracle doctor? Sean hadn't known that and wouldn't dare investigate Felix's background, even if he had the courage.
"If he's really nothing now, then why did I just get word that George and Felix are coming to the party together?" Sean asked.
Dylan scoffed, seeming not to care. "Who knows? Maybe George owes Felix a favor. But so what? If Felix apologizes sincerely today, I won't embarrass him in public. Otherwise, this is Yartford. Even George won't ruin his ties with me over someone who's just an ordinary guy now."
Sean believed him. It was true that the Fraser family wasn't as powerful as the Zimmerman family. But the main difference was that Dylan's father was the head of the family and the sole decision-maker, and as an only son, Dylan had all the resources. This was not something George had.
George came from a large family, and nobody knew who would be their next heir. Starting a feud over Felix would indeed be unwise. With that in mind, Sean decided to sit back and watch. Even if the engagement party was disrupted, it had nothing to do with him. Time passed, and the Sanders escorted Felix and George into the banquet hall. The engagement ceremony was finally about to begin. Felix and his group were seated at a table on par with the one for the Sanders elders. It meant the highest level of respect and importance.

"George, long time no see." At that moment, Dylan appeared and sat in his seat, greeting George with a smile.
"It's you,
huh? Weren't you out of town? Did you come back so soon?" George said.
He knew Dylan's reputation as a womanizer who was willing to chase women across cities. He was the kind of man who thought with his lower half. "If I didn't come back, I might get killed by some guy named Felix in Canraville!" Dylan said, casting a cold glance at Felix, who sat beside George. Felix, for his part, was surprised to see Dylan at Madeline's engagement. It was unexpected.
"Can't you speak properly?" Jack snapped, clearly displeased. His good friend's engagement shouldn't be attended by someone who lacked manners.
"I couldn't care less about Felix, so who are you to chastise me?" Dylan shot back.
Felix pulled Jack down and fixed his gaze on Dylan. "If you keep quiet and sit down now, I'll give you one chance. But if you insist on ruining my friend's engagement party, you'll see how miserable you are going to become." Dylan smirked, tilting his head and pointing at George.
"Your backing is George, isn't it? Why don't you ask him if he's willing to go against me for your sake?"!
