In a karaoke center in Canraville, Felix sat alone in the private room, surprised that Jack hadn't arrived yet. He thought to himself, "What a flaky guy."

He took a moment to assess himself, and a smile spread across his face. His strength had once again increased since he had two pieces of Dragonspine in his body.

Honestly, Felix felt like he was dreaming. Because of this, his fascination with the Dragonspine deepened, but he also had one lingering concern in his mind.

After thinking it through, and since Jack and Vanessa hadn't shown up yet, Felix got up and walked to the lounge area in the center's main hall. He then dialed the strange number from before.

Perhaps because of Lionel, Gerald answered his call after a few rings. "Did you succeed?"

"Yes, Mr. Hoffman. You might not believe it, but I found out the true cause of Lionel's condition."

Gerald scolded him immediately, "Drop the suspense, you little brat. Tell me right now!"

Felix couldn't help but chuckle. So Gerald was curious too, huh?

"Lionel has a piece of Dragonspine inside him. According to him, he found an ancient secret method years ago, and nearby was the Dragonspine. He used that method to successfully integrate it into his body."

After a silence of several seconds, Gerald finally said, "That explains it. No wonder that old man's power skyrocketed back then. It must have been the Dragonspine!

Taking the chance to clarify his doubts with his mentor, Felix asked, "Mr. Hoffman, if someone has already figured out a way to use the Dragonspine without the Dragons Destroyer technique, doesn't that mean collecting more of them will be even harder?" Gerald paused for a moment before replying. "Well, don't worry too much, though. As long as you have three pieces of Dragonspine in your body, you'll be able to sense the others. You'll have a vast detection range too, so just keep moving around." After that, the call ended. Felix was in a good mood. With just one more piece to go, it would be like having a radar. He wouldn't need to worry so much, either.

Half an hour later, Vanessa had entered full karaoke mode, and Felix finally found a chance to speak quietly with Jack.

"What's going on? Why is Nancy here?"

Jack shrugged, looking helpless. "It's all Nessas idea. She said it's not good for you to stay single and insisted on introducing a girlfriend to you. That's why Nancy's here." That explained it. Felix had noticed that Nancy didn't seem too comfortable making eye contact with him, which made sense if Vanessa had made it clear what this meeting was about.

At that moment, a waiter entered the room. "Is Mr. Zeller here?"

Felix waved his hand, and the waiter approached, handing him an envelope.

"This is something for you from the guest in Room V03," the waiter said. "Thanks."

Felix opened the envelope, and Jack, curious as always, leaned over to take a look. The moment he saw the contents, his expression immediately darkened. "Dammit! Which idiot sent this?" Jack exclaimed.
