"Hey! Am I not your employee anymore? I've been working so hard, and now something happens, and you're just dusting me off your hands?" Melissa complained, her voice full of indignation.

Felix frowned, his temper flaring. "Be clear with your words! Who's dusting their hands? If someone overhears, they'll misunderstand!"

Nearby, Candace's neck veins bulged in anger as she pointed a trembling finger at them. "You're asking for death!"

She was the infamous Five of Hearts from the Thirteen Aces, a name that struck fear into countless people. Yet, these two had the audacity to flirt in front of her?

"Shut up, you old hag! You're just a dying woman making noise. What's your problem?" Felix snapped.

Felix shot Candace a single glance. Her entire body stiffened, her breathing halted, and her eyes were filled with sheer terror.

"Y-You're not secretly some ancient monster in disguise, are you?" Candace stammered.

As someone at the Oceanus Realm, she cedn't believe that a mere look from Felix had rendered her completely immobilized, as if death were only a moment away. His strength far exceeded hers-there was no other explanation.

"Hehe! I knew Mr. Zeller wouldn't have any trouble," Melissa said with a relieved smile. She immediately made a face at Candace. "Bleh! You old woman, dreaming of making me steal for you? Fat chance! You have no idea who my boss really is." But then she paused, suddenly remembering something. "Wait... Felix, did you say she's a dying woman?"

Felix nodded. "Yes, her blood vitality is severely depleted. It's probably due to a martial arts mishap. No wonder she dared provoke the Warlord in such a public area-she must've thought she was invincible."

Candace felt her heart sink completely. Felix had discerned her martial arts problem and diagnosed her condition with uncanny precision in a single glance. She realized now that she had stumbled upon someone whose expertise in combat and medicine was unparalleled.

Felix walked over to the rolling shutter and opened it. He motioned with his hand, and the Warlord of Thunder and his team rushed inside. When they saw Candace standing frozen in place, even Xena couldn't help but gasp.

If she didn't know better, she wouldn't believe that the motionless figure was the infamous Five of Hearts from the Thirteen Aces.

"Take her away!" the Warlord of Thunder commanded with a grin. The crisis was resolved, and as the operation's commander, capturing Candace without any casualties was a significant success.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Zeller," the Warlord said, nodding appreciatively.

"You're welcome. It's what I should do," Felix replied casually. "But she only has about seven days left to live. Whatever you plan to do with her, you'd better do it quickly."

The Warlord's eyes gleamed with interest. He remembered that Felix owned Tranquil Clinic, a renowned traditional medicine practice, and his assessment carried weight.

"That information is incredibly valuable. Thank you again," the Warlord said sincerely.

Just as the Warlord and his team were about to leave, Melissa suddenly leaned in and planted a kiss on Felix's cheek.

"Mr. Zeller, you're amazing!"

Xena, who had been silently watching, exploded in anger.

"Felix Zeller! You're disgusting!" she spat, her face flushed with fury.

Felix's expression darkened. Melissa's impulsive act had undoubtedly worsened his already strained relationship with Xena.

Before he could respond, Candace suddenly roared, "Save me! You can tell I don't have long to live, so your medical skills must be extraordinary. If you're willing to save me and ensure the authorities don't execute me, I'll tell you a massive secret!" Felix remained indifferent, while the Warlord of Thunder scoffed. He had seen far too many people spout nonsense in desperation before their inevitable deaths.

"Take her away," the Warlord said dismissively.

But Candace's next words stopped everyone in their tracks.

"The secret I know involves the lives of tens of thousands of people. Are you really willing to ignore that?"
