"Why are you so fired up this early in the morning?" Felix asked.

Melissa was still fuming. "Boss, haven't you seen what happened to the shop next door? It turned into a floral wreath boutique overnight!"

A floral wreath boutique? Felix hadn't noticed earlier. He only remembered there being a beauty salon next door that was not doing well and was looking to sell. How did it become a floral wreath boutique?

"Here's to good business! Looking forward to being neighbors."

Billy walked in with a grin, which sent Melissa storming to the back room with one last comment, "That stupid fatso is the one who opened the boutique!"

No wonder Melissa was so angry. No business would want a funeral flower shop next door.

"Billy, what's your deal here?"

Billy grinned and said, "Nothing. I quit my job at Sixview Peak and need to make a living somehow. Since this is all I know, I figured I'd scrape by with a funeral shop. You know better than anyone how effective my merchandise is against spirits."

His eyes lit up. "Isn't it fate? We're the perfect one-stop shop! When you can't save your patients, I can take care of the aftermath. Talk about full service!"

Felix rolled his eyes. "Get lost! None of my patients will ever need to buy anything from your shop."

Opening a business was a free choice, and there was no law against funeral shops. Felix was not really bothered.

"Such a temper! Let me know if you need anything. Don't be shy-we're friends! I'll give you a 50% discount."

Yeah, right.

Unable to figure out what Billy was really up to, Felix decided to just take things as they

came.

During lunch break, Felix visited a legitimate massage parlor. According to Derek, his son, Darren Yeager, was the owner and usually worked the front desk. "Welcome!" the greeter spoke up as Felix pointed to a young man sitting on a couch near the register.

"I'm looking for your boss," Felix said.

The greeter stepped aside and called out, "Boss, someone's here to see you."

The young man stood up, greeting Felix with a smile. Whether they knew each other or not, every visitor was a potential customer anyway. Do I know you?"

Felix smiled and said, "No, I'm Felix. I'd like to buy something from you."

He had promised Derek not to use force, and when dealing with ordinary people, money was the best way to get willing cooperation.

"Buy something from me? Could you be more specific?"

Darren seemed decent enough. Felix wondered why his relationship with Derek had broken. Given the obvious age gap, Darren seemed to be a late-in-life child. "Sure, I'll be direct. I want to purchase the Nightshade Discipline.'

The Nightshade Discipline was the secret technique that allowed Derek to conceal his presence. It was so effective that even Felix, who had achieved several realms above him, could not detect him. Any martial artist would know how valuable such a technique was. Darren's smile vanished instantly. "I don't care how you found out about it, but please leave. It's not for sale."

This reaction surprised Felix, but he wasn't about to give up. He held up one finger. "Let me make an offer-" Darren cut him off, "Leave! Someone offered a hundred million dollars, and I turned them down. Get it?" Felix shook his head and spoke slowly, "I'm offering you an entire building."
