Simon, who had also sat down, furrowed his brows in confusion. "What do you mean, Dr. Hall?"

Even an idiot would understand the situation after seeing Jordan viciously sneer at Felix.

"To my knowledge, this Felix guy is a doctor from the countryside. His medical skills are mediocre, which we can ignore, but he sometimes scams people!

"I fear Avesburgh's Traditional Medicine Association's reputation will be damaged if people discover such a person can join your association," Jordan stated.

Before Simon could respond, Wendy was the first to express her displeasure. "Dr. Hall, was it? Shouldn't you consider your words carefully before criticizing others? What right do you have to judge Felix? Do you know him that well?"

Jordan frowned. "Wendy, have you become conceited and unreasonable from being the wealthiest man's daughter? You aren't in the medical industry, yet you think you can talk to me this way?"

Simon was caught in the middle because he couldn't afford to cross any of them. If he aided Jordan, the Kinsley family would never invest another cent into the association again. That was undeniable.

On the flip side, offending Jordan would lead to more serious outcomes. Simon would lose his position and be unable to remain in the association if he crossed Jordan.

"Don't waste your breath on this idiot, Wendy." Fortunately, Felix spoke up just then.

That surprised Wendy, but at the same time, her heart skipped with joy because the former had said her name.

"An idiot?" Jordan was pissed. He bellowed, "Felix, would you believe it if I coul make your life difficult at any second just because you've disrespected me?"

Jordan never planned on taking Felix seriously. However, Felix had helped Curtis with a stroke of luck. That naturally angered Jordan a great deal.

Felix gradually stood, thinking there was no need to continue this. After all, how could one be comfortable if they had to share a table with Jordan? "Fine. I'll ensure you vanish from this society for five years since you've provoked me several times." Jordan found the former's claim ridiculous. "You'd best apologize to me in front of Xena tomorrow morning! Otherwise, you won't even get the chance to regret not doing it!"

He already planned on confronting Felix for what happened earlier today. Little did he expect to bump into Felix here, but since he did, he conveniently said it to Felix.

He felt it was best if Felix apologized to him in Xena's presence. If not, he would resort to all sorts of tactics to get even with Felix.

Felix couldn't be bothered to deal with Jordan, so he left at once with Wendy in tow.

Nothing could stop Wendy from leaving, no matter how much Simon apologized. Deep down, Simon felt incredibly bitter and regretted inviting Jordan to the auction. At that rate, Jordan completely offended the association's financial backer. "Sorry, Felix. I didn't think Jordan would show up." As Wendy exited the hotel, she wanted to slap herself. She intended to spend time with Felix through this auction, but her plan backfired,

He didn't go far before taking out his phone to make a call. Felix had always been a man of his word, so he was determined to fulfill his declaration of making Jordan vanish for five years. "Have your apprentice come over, too, for tonight's treatment. "He's a youngster, so there's no harm in having him gain more experience."
