The Ryland Boys
Chapter 42

“No I already told you Jordan Almonds are so tacky for a wedding. Do I look like a Jordan Almond type of girl?” Lindsay asked furiously.

I really don’t like this girl.

With her expensive decor and catering, they couldn’t afford a place so she decided on the house.

She decided to have her wedding in Alison’s home.

Not hers.

Alison’s.

Tomorrow was the wedding and I was supposed to be as far from her as possible.

It’s been four days since the accident and Masons good, up and moving. Amanda is good too and they’ve been having some awkward s*x.

Bensons okay but wants to stay away from seeing people or conversing. They all give him anxiety.

As for Carter, he only seems to have night terrors but he’ll be okay. According to Alison it’ll be okay.

That meant, the wedding was still on.

Moris was invited and that added more plates.

The big bachelor was with Wayne and has been for the whole day.

I was in charge of staying out of Lindsay’s sight and keeping my face unseen. (I’ve been disinvited to the wedding by her.)

As if she could keep me away.

Her foot steps tromped along the stairs coming up them “Long stemmed roses! Long! I don’t want to see the ugly wood stairs. I want just roses.” She shouted.

“But that’s more roses than ordered.” One man boldly said.

Silence filled the other side of the door, “Then order as many as I f*****g need to cover the damn floor Charles! What do I pay you for? You’re f*****g useless!” She shouted as she tromped back down the stairs.

Poor Charles.

No one could pay me enough money to deal with her.

I was packing up my boxes, two days ago I went on a nice run and found a stunning home down the block. It was the cut off between expensive family homes and mansions.

Mansions aren’t my thing, so this home was just what I wanted.

Of course with Bensons help, and his asking me to always come over, he helped me fill out paper work and get what I needed done.

It was fully furnished and just what I wanted for a home, modern and cozy, five bedrooms and even a small running track in the backyard.

Lucas came waltzing into my room and eyed the box, “Where are you going Norah?” He asked.

I stared at him, “I uh, I bought a house.” I said smiling.

He smiled wide “Can I see it?” He asked.

I nodded “Of course. I’ll show you it later this week once I get all my stuff in it.” I said watching him nod.

“But don’t tell your mom or brothers, okay?” I asked him.

He nodded “I won’t tell anyone. It’ll be our secret.” He said smiling and holding out his pinky to me.

Hooking my pinky in his, I let go and he stared at a couple of the baseballs I’d saved.

“Can I have one Norah?” He asked eyeing them.

I nodded “Yeah, take whatever one you want.” I said watching him smile and take one.

“Get one for Steven too, he’ll probably like that.” I said watching him nod and grab the second one.

I’d kept the crystal bags and the guns in my closet up until yesterday when I took them into a collectors office and earned an insane three million for only twenty of them.

I kept five of the guns, one for me, one for Jax, Carter, Mason and when he’s old enough, Lucas.

As for the bags, I gifted the kissy lips to Alison who said she couldn’t possibly take it since the purse costed eighteen thousand dollars.

I was shocked.

After giving it to her, I gave one to Amanda and one to Nichole too.

I decided if I ever had a daughter, she’d want her great grandmothers luxurious handbags.

So I kept the rest.

After finishing packing, I boxed up my last thing of books before pushing it aside.

Lucas had left to show off his new baseballs.

Mason called that he was taking Amanda home and Carters in his room avoiding Lindsay’s shouting, Alison though…I have to get her distracted.

Shutting my door, I walked down the stairs to see Alison in the living room telling them to stop moving her couches.

“No the couches go.” Lindsay said to Alison.

Alison stared at her and shook her head, “I need to go lock myself away from you because you’re driving me nuts!” She said to Lindsay before going to her office and slamming the door shut.

Oh well that worked perfectly.

Going to Jack I smiled at him “Hey can you bring me Alison’s truck? I have a lot to pack up and kind of don’t want anyone knowing. So one trip is all I can afford.” I said watching him nod and go to bring the truck.

Hurrying upstairs, I gather a few people like Emily and had them quietly help me carry the twenty six boxes and three tubs to the truck.

Jack helped me fill it and Emily smiled “I’ll shut your bedroom door.” She said before hurrying inside with the others.

I smirked at Jack “Don’t worry, I’ll be back.” I said watching him laugh “You better, I’m not sure how I’ll explain to Alison where her truck went.” He said grinning.

Laughing I got in and drove down the driveway and out to my house which was literally a mile away, less actually since it was so damn close.

Pulling into my driveway, I smiled and put the car in park while I walked to the front door and unlocked the door.

I was getting two dogs this week to feel safer. Benson made sure my house had a full security system and cameras, but he recommended I adopt dogs. He wanted me to be completely safe and protected.

Unloading the truck felt like it took forever and my living room was now covered in boxes.

Sighing, I plopped onto the black leather couch and smiled, it smelt like the new leather of a car.

I ran my hand over the arm rest and eyed the massive tv and the fireplace beneath it.

Standing, I took a small walk around my home, and it felt like a hotel room more than a home. Everything was new though, it was all designed by some extravagant home decorator. This home was used to model for the other homes around it but after all the homes sold they put this one up.

I had the best offer.

Going to the room that was decorated as a kids bedroom, I smiled softly.

Three kids.

Heading down the stairs, I eyed my watch, s**t I’ve been gone for four hours.

Walking to the alarm system, I typed in the pin and as it counted down, I went out the door locking it behind me and got to Alison’s truck driving it back to the home.

I parked in the driveway and Jack smiled “Did she ask for it?” I asked him.

He shook his head.

Good.

Going inside, I noticed Lindsay was gone.

Thank God.

Alison was laying on the couch that was now against the wall, she had a towel over her eyes and looked exhausted.

I shut the door behind me quietly and she lifted the towel staring over at me “Norah, you left?” She asked eyeing me.

Nodding I laughed “Did you chase away the Bridezilla?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes dropping the towel back onto her face, “If she gave birth today, I’d send you to kick her a*s. Yes, right after giving birth.” She said waving her hands in an exaggerated overwhelmed way.

Poor Alison.

I walked over and sat by her legs “I’m not going to be around much tomorrow, I’ve started this uh project that I need to finish.” I said watching her nod “Why won’t you be at the wedding? I’ll die without you?” She said as she realized what I said.

The towel was now in her lap as she sat up staring at me.

“I’ll be there for the end but the whole vows and all that, I don’t think I want to be there for that.” I said shrugging.

She eyed me “Oh hunny, I didn’t think about that, I’m sorry. I understand. If you think of any way to sabotage this wedding, please do it.” She said to me.

I smirked but thought about it, “Invite Cory.” I said looking her over.

Alison stared at me worried “Jax would die.” She said softly.

I nodded “I know. Invite him and say Lindsay’s inviting them.” I said watching her jump up and run to her office dashing past Lucas.

Hope it works.

“Go put some comfy clothes on. We’re going to get me a dog.” I said to him watching him stare at me with wide eyes.

I watched him run upstairs and come back down within ten minutes, “I’m taking Lucas!” I called.

Alison opened her office door and nodded waving “Drive safe.” She said emphasizing safe.

I nodded and Lucas came down going with me to the front.

Grabbing his booster seat, I smiled at Jack but stopped as Jax pulled up.

He rolled down his window “Where are you two going?” He asked me.

Shut up heart.

I looked down at Lucas and then up at Jax smiling “I’m getting a dog.” I said watching him laugh and nod.

He got out and walked over taking the booster seat from me gently and opening my door.

I got in and he shut the door carefully before getting Lucas and buckling him in with his booster seat.

He knows how to put a booster seat in, why does that turn me on?

I watched him walk around and get in driving us down the driveway. “What are we looking for? Puppy or adult?” He asked pondering before turning right or left.

“Adult.” I said nodding surely.

A puppy won’t save me.

He nodded and turned right.

Lucas started asking me questions “What are we gonna name it?” He asked excited.

I laughed lightly, “Well let’s figure out what dog first, then I’ll let you name it.” I said staring at him and watching him smile widely. “Jax! Did you hear that?” He asked.

Jax stared over at me and reached a hand over taking my hand and entwining our fingers. My stupid heart fumbled and tripped over itself a few times. “Yeah, give it a tough name though.” He said to Lucas.

“You guys tell mom yet?” He asked Lucas.

Lucas nodded “She said okay if it stays in Norahs room.” He lied so quick, so naturally it scared me.

We pulled up to a shelter and Jax parked “Guard, companion or lazy?” He asked me.

I eyed him “Guard.” I said watching him nod and park getting out.

I got out and he helped Lucas out carrying him and pulling the door open for me.

The man in the front smiled “Adopting?” He asked us and I nodded.

He pointed to a door and Jax pulled the door open walking close behind me as we passed the puppies.

Lucas was so happy, he jumped from Jax’s arms and began putting his fingers in the cage and laughing when they nibbled on his fingers.

I smiled and listened to the loud adults barking, heading down the long aisle of caged an abandoned dogs, I felt so sad.

The small cage smelt like piss and they had small metal beds with only one raggedy old toy.

I passed by over twenty, and then I saw her.

She walked to the cage and sniffed me curiously before sitting and eyeing me for a while.

I stood and read her portfolio.

She was two and used to be a police dog, she’s been fixed and loves kids. Her favorite thing to do is go on runs and she was very well behaved. Her name was Sasha.

Perfect.

I sat down and smiled at the German Shepard.

Jax walked over and knelt beside me staring at her, she sniffed him too and I looked to him. “What do you think?” I asked.

Her ears perked up and her tail went up and she stood moving to the cage and staring behind Jax.

Lucas just entered the big dogs and smiled waving at us.

“Guard dog.” Jax said before standing and reading her paper. “She sounds perfect.” He said eyeing the paper.

I smiled at Sasha, “Lucas come here.” I said watching him run over and then jump scared from one of the darks barking at him.

He walked over eyeing the dogs cage wearily before staring at Sasha.

He sat in my lap and looked up at her placing his hand with mine to the cage.

She licked our hands and rubbed her head on the cage.

I smiled “Jax can you ask if I can play with her for a bit?” I asked him.

He nodded, “Ill be right back.” He headed down the aisle jumping and laughing as the mean dog jumped at him.

Cute.

A few minutes later, a man walked over with a leash and eyed the mean dog, he must know how mean it really is.

“Sasha?” He asked smiling down at us.

I nodded and stood with Lucas.

He unlocked the door “Sit.” He said and Sasha sat like a trained officer.

“She was going to be put down later this week. Not many people want females.” He said putting the leash on her, “Oh she’s such a sweetheart.” I said watching her tail wag softly.

She’s hiding her excitement.

He walked her out the cage and I took the leash from him. Lucas walked on the other side of her petting her as we walked.

Jax walked behind us and as we passed the mean dog, it jumped at Lucas but I was rugged and Sasha barked viscously at the dog shutting it up.

It coward away and rubbed its head under Lucas’s hand panting.

“Good girl.” I said scratching her head and looking up at Jax smiling wide.

He crossed his arms over his chest smiling “Lets take her for a small walk and see how you feel.” He said and I nodded walking with Sasha and Lucas to the playground.

Only Sasha just ran back and forth following Lucas run back and forth.

Jax tossed a ball to me and I looked to Sasha “Sasha, fetch!” I called throwing the ball.

She eyed the ball confused.

“Guess She only knows cop terms. I should learn some of those.” I said laughing and watching Jax whistle twice in two short whistles.

Sasha ran and grabbed the ball running it to him.

Impressive.

I looked him over and smirked “Now how the hell did you know that?” I asked kneeling down and petting Sasha who licked my face.

He smirked “I read.” He said.

Ha.

I laughed and gave him a small shove.

We played with Sasha for a good hour before I decided to take her home.

Only problem, was that we had Jax.

That meant…Jax was seeing my home.

I adopted Sasha and she sat in the trunk like a good girl.

We went into petsmart and I bought her every toy she pointed her nose to, along with two beds and a nice bowl set. Lucas picked out her treats and I got her some dog shampoo and a new collar with a leash.

“Jax?” I asked as we put the bags inside his truck.

He buckled Lucas in “Yeah?” He asked.

“We’re not taking Sasha to your home.” I said watching him shut the back door.

He nodded “Alright where are we going?” He asked confused.

I took the keys and he eyed me confused but got into the passenger seat.

Going to the drivers seat, I pulled out and drove to my home pulling up to the driveway parking.

Looking at Jax, he eyed the home and I got out pulling the passenger door open and whistling for Sasha.

She jumped out and sat beside my leg.

Grabbing Lucas out, I watched Jax Carey four of the bags with the dog food over his shoulder.

Pulling my keys out, I unlocked the door and put Lucas down typing the pin in for the security.

Jax walked in and stared at the home, “This is a beautiful home.” He said putting the bags down.

I smiled “Come on Sasha.” I said watching her slowly walk inside.

Shutting the door, I locked it and he eyed my boxes “You bought a home.” He said looking from the boxes to me.

Nodding, I smiled sheepishly, “I decided it was time.” I said looking around.

He smiled softly “I’m really happy for you Norah, I am.” He said looking around the home.

Lucas was setting up all of Sasha’s toys asking her which one was her favorite.

“Want a tour?” I asked c*****g an eyebrow at him.

Jax nodded, “I’d love one.” He said smiling.

Taking his hand, I walked him up the stairs, “Four rooms here and then two rooms downstairs.” I said pushing open the master bedroom door.

He stared inside and looked to the bed moving his eyes to the fireplace in the bedroom. If you looked through it, you’d see the tub and shower.

I walked inside and he followed behind me shutting the door.

Staring back at him, I eyed the closed door c*****g an eyebrow.

Jax smiled and pulled my hand to his chest “It’s a big home.” He commented.

I nodded, “After I find an i***t willing to give me two cups of his semen, I’ll pop out three little munchkins and it’ll feel like home.” I said laughing.

He brushed my hair back, “It didn’t work?” He asked running his hand over my stomach.

I stared up at him and shook my head, “I don’t think my bodies ready yet. The last time it tried to do its job it got beat.” I said watching him run his hand over my h*p. “Well if you ever need an i***t willing to give you a cup of semen” He said laughing lightly, “Let me know.”

The door opened and Jax looked around the room while I stepped back “Woah! This rooms so nice!” He said walking with Sasha inside.

I pointed down the hall “Did you see your room?” I asked him.

He stared up at me and then at Jax who seemed confused but I led them to the boys room.

“It’s” Lucas began “Freaken” he breathed “Awesome!” He ran to the race car bed and jumped inside laying down and smiling at Jax.

He pat the bed “Come on! It’s so cozy!” He said to Jax.

I watched Jax slip off his shoes and walk over laying his tall body on the tiny car bed.

“Norah! There’s room!” Lucas said patting beside him.

Staring at the two, I watched Jax smile and I walked over slipping my shoes off and laying beside Lucas.

I looked to Jax and gave him a soft smile, he stared at me for a while before he stood and pulled on his shoes. “We should get back.” He said seeming a bit distant.

Getting up, I pulled on my shoes and followed Jax with Lucas.

I laid out Sasha’s bed and food with water.

I felt bad leaving her alone on her first night but if I take her home, Alison might die.

(She’s not a dog person.)

I turned on the alarm and shut the door behind me locking it.

Going to the truck, Jax was inside and staring at the garage in silence. He seems upset, angry?

Did I do something wrong?

I stayed quiet and we drove back to the house with Lucas saying he can’t wait to go back.

We parked and I got out while he got Lucas out.

Jax headed inside with Lucas and I followed feeling a bit sad that I might be why he’s mad.

Shutting the door behind me, I watched Lindsay scowl at me before looking at Jax “Why are you not dressed, and why do you smell like a dog?” She asked disgusted.

He stared down at her, “Dressed?” He looked at her ignoring the rude comment she added. I wonder if he often does that.

She eyed Lucas “Go change!” She said to him and he nodded running up the stairs “The wedding dinner, its in fifteen minutes.” She said annoyed.

Oh crap, I forgot about that.

Jax headed up the stairs and I looked to Alison who was hurrying down the stairs with Mason apologizing when she knocked into his broken shoulder.

Poor guy.

Benson walked out his office and looked to me, “You’re going like that?” He asked.

I stared at my T-shirt and shorts, “Uh no, I’m not going.” I said blankly.

He looked at me and eyed the stairs, “I’m paying for a dinner of thirty people and the only one I care to talk with isn’t going?” He asked confused.

I smirked “Yeah, something like that.” I laughed.

Benson stared at Alison, “Did you hear her?” He asked.

She was adjusting her dress and looked to me “What are you wearing?” She asked looking me over confused.

“She said she’s not going.” Benson said low.

Alison scoffed, “My a*s, go. Go change.” She said gesturing upstairs.

Lindsay placed a hand on Alison’s arm “She’s not going. I’m the bride, it’s my dinner, I don’t want her there.” She said watching Alison go to say something back.

I shook my head, “While you’re stuck eating salads and meatless meals, I’ll be eating a steak.” I said smirking.

Mason scowled “It’s a meatless meal?!” He asked.

Lindsay looked at him dumbfounded “What did you expect?” She asked him annoyed.

“You got two steaks?” Mason looked to me and Alison gave him a look, “You’re no staying. God knows what you’d do to the decorations.” She said sighing.

Mason grinned thinking about what he’d do, personally I’d love to see what he’d do.

Lucas and Carter came down with Jax following behind in a slow pace.

“Come on Jax! Move it! My parents are waiting!” She said sighing.

She walked outside and screamed “Where’s my limo?” She asked looking around frantically.

I smirked “I could call you an Uber” I said watching her scowl at me.

Mason laughed and half fived me.

Lindsay began throwing a fit and I dialed my old buddy “Hey I have a bridezilla in need of a limo, how fast could you get here?” I asked.

He laughed “Ten minutes?” He asked.

“Perfect.” I said hanging up.

Mason eyed me “You got one?” He asked.

I nodded, and Lindsay looked at me cringing “I don’t want her run down nineteen eighteen limousine.” She said stomping her foot.

Lindsay threw her fit for a while before the gorgeous Cadillac limo pulled up.

She stopped and eyed it “Oh someone else called?” She asked.

Alison sighed “Get in the limo before I push you down these steps.” She said watching Lindsay give her a look.

Jax stared back at me and I smiled giving him a small wave.

They got in the limo and I waved to my friend watching him smile big.

I watched them drive off and I headed inside shutting the door behind me.

Taking a walk around the home, I showered, pulled on a camisole and my pajama shorts with my bunny slippers.

I was at my coziest and most relaxed. I headed to the kitchen and made myself a steak dinner while blasting Christina Aguilera.

“I was so confused, run away just to hide it all from you!” I sang off the top of my lungs shaking my h**s and dancing and jumping around the kitchen.

Emily walked in laughing and I danced with her watching as she moved like an actual girl.

“Yeah Emily! Shake that a*s!” I yelled laughing.

“What you got, is what I want!” I sang holding the spoon up as a microphone.

Emily laughed and headed out the kitchen leaving me to my singing and cooking.

“Whatever keeps me in your arms!” I shut my eyes hitting the notes and swaying my h**s rolling them and opening my eyes screaming.

Mason walked in eyeing me and smiling with Jax.

I turned around and stared at the two confused before turning the music down and staring at them “How much of that did you see? Hear?” I asked laughing.

Jax and Mason smirked.

“Great.” I said laughing and watching Mason take a bite of my steak.

I leaned forward “Why are you guys home so early?” I asked confused.

Jax sighed “Lindsay’s parents called my mom cheap and then a fight broke out and we got kicked out.” He said laughing lightly

Looking to them I pulled the fridge open grabbing two more steaks, “Dinners on me then.” I smirked and tossed two steaks on the pan sprinkling olive oil, rosemary, salt and pepper onto them.

“How do you like your meat?” I asked the two.

Mason wrapped my plate in foil, “Medium.”

I stared at Jax, “I got it, go eat.” He said walking over and moving me aside as he took the tongs.

Stepping back, I pulled out two plates putting rice on both and adding the grilled vegetables on it.

Jax took his off medium rare and I grinned, my kind of man.

He let Masons cook a bit more before taking it off.

“Where’s everyone else?” I asked placing the plates down and sitting between Mason and Jax.

Mason stood and headed to the fridge pulling three beers out, but looked to me and put it back grabbing a bottle of water instead.

I smiled and he handed a beer to Jax, “Lucas is asleep, Carter’s drunk and passed out on the couch. Dad went to sleep early and moms asleep in Lucas bed.” Mason said nodding.

“Bridezilla?” I asked.

He smirked “She went home with her parents. Something about bad luck and Jax can’t see her before he wedding.” He scoffed.

I laughed and stared over at Mason, “I got a house.” I said to him spitting it out.

He laughed “Funny.” He said.

Cutting my steak I brought it to my lips taking a bite and swallowing it down “It’s not too far from here, I could run here and back in like ten minutes.” I said pondering how long it’d take me.

Mason stared at Jax who nodded and I watched him sigh “Well that’s great for you but damn, I was just getting used to having you live with me.” He said bummed.

I smiled “You can stay in the guest room for as long as you want.” I said watching him laugh.

“Did you already see it?” Mason asked Jax who nodded once keeping his steady mood.

He nodded and eyed Jax, I guess he realized his weird mood too.

Mason scarfed down his steak and then got off the stool sighing and rubbing his stomach “Goodnight, don’t stay up too late Jax, you’re getting married tomorrow.” He said patting Jax’s shoulder walking out.

Jax are his steak in silence and I decided to let him stay in his thoughts, maybe it’ll talk him out of marrying Lindsay.

He finished his dinner and put his plate in the sink rinsing the plate off before tossing the empty beer bottle in the trash. “Goodnight.” He said short before going to the kitchen door.

“Goodnight.” I said low watching him stop and then go out the doors.

Tomorrow he’ll belong to Lindsay.

My stomach turned and I felt sick.

Very sick.

Getting off the stool, I moved to the trash bin throwing up my dinner and trying to stay quiet.

I ran a hand over my stomach carefully and eyed it for a while before I hurried out the kitchen and down the hall quietly.

Grabbing my purse, I slipped on my shoes and a cardigan going out the front door quietly.

Going to the garage, I grabbed my keys and pulled out driving to the nearest drug store and parking.

Jumping out I hurried inside, grabbing three pregnancy tests and placing them on the counter eyeing the goldfish grabbing the bag and placing it with the tests.

The girl rang me up and I paid driving to the house parking in the garage and going up to my room shutting the door and locking it.

I ran to the bathroom and opened the tests up peeing on each and then waiting.

The wait was the longest.

I looked down at the test once the time was up and felt my heart beat so fast.

“I’m pregnant.” I said low.

“God damn I’m one fertile bitch.” I said laughing and eyeing all three positives.

I smiled and then tossed two in the trash looking myself over before heading out the bathroom and to the hall. Capping the other I walked around the hall staring at it for a while.

Standing in front of Jax’s door, I went to knock but stopped and then worked up the courage before stopping.

God dammit Norah, just knock!

Knocking, I jumped at the sound in the silence and after a few seconds, it opened.

Jax stood with a pair of boxers on and his hair wet and back. Damn he looked good.

I handed him the stick and he watched it carefully before staring from it to me. “I thought this time, I should let you know.” I said smiling. “I promise you can come see it whenever you want.” I added.

It took him a couple minutes and a few ‘are you sure?’ And ‘this is real?’s to wrap it around his head.

Jax stared from the stick to me before gesturing to my stomach “Can I?” He asked going to put his hand over it.

I don’t even know if anything’s actually more than my belly right now. Afterall, it’s only been a week. But it seemed wrong to deny him the moment.

I nodded and he slowly dropped down to his knees and ran his hand over my stomach leaning down and kissing it softly.

“That’s mine?” He asked staring at my stomach.

I nodded again and he stared from it to my face, standing and then shutting himself out and dropping his hands back to his sides.

“Did I do something to make you mad or upset?” I asked him leaning into the wall and laying my head against it.

He furrowed his eyebrows, “No, why would you think that?” He asked stepping closer.

I shrugged “You just seem distant, cold.” I dropped my gaze to the floor and dared a look back at him.

Jax stared at the floor though, “I’m not angry or upset with you. If I feel that toward anyone, I feel it toward myself.” He said low.

Lifting my head off the wall I yawned, “But you’re doing great Jax. Really.” I said through my tiredness.

He shook his head, “I saw the way you laid there, beside me with Lucas. It felt like what I always dreamed my family would be like.” He said crossing his arms over his chest and furrowing his eyebrows like Lucas does.

“But I realized I couldn’t have that, I realized I f****d up when I didn’t leave Lindsay the day you walked up to my door and told me to keep out of your business and you’ll keep out of mine.” He said softly, “I kept saying every guy who ever let you slip from his fingers was an i***t. Yet I never listened to myself.” He added.

I yawned again and laid my head against the wall, “Don’t kick yourself over it, I’m very tiny, a bit like a grain of sand. Hard for me not to slip through your fingers.” I smirked.

Turning I gave him a small wave “I’m going to bed, I’ll see you…tomorrow evening? Whenever you guys finish the vows and first dances.” I said watching him stare at me confused.

Shutting the door, I headed to bed and laid down letting the sleep pull me in.
