The Unshackled Queen: Never Say Never -
Chapter 1955
Rodrigo paused, momentarily taken aback, then sneered, “Apologize to her? Who do you think you are? I won’t apologize to her, and I’LL make you regret this!”
Hannah’s grip proved too strong for him to break.
Rodrigo, frustrated and unable to free himself, exclaimed, “Why are you so strong? Damn it!”
Attempting another tactic, Rodrigo tried to grab Hannah but found himself swiftly restrained, his hands forced behind his back.
“Ouch! Damn!”
Rodrigo howled in pain and frustration, spinning around to call out to his associates, “Are you going to just stand there? Help me!”
But his men remained stationary, merely observing the scene unfold.
Peterson adjusted his clothing and was about to approach Rodrigo again when Hannah called out firmly, “Head back first, I’ve got this covered!”
“No way,” Peterson replied, determined to confront the issue.
He then knelt beside Rodrigo, who had momentarily calmed down, and remarked coolly, “You refused to apologize and even insulted her.
Now, I’m truly upset.”
Rodrigo glared at Peterson with disdain.
“When my boss returns, you’ll lose that arrogance!”
Peterson ignored his comment and signaled to the men in black.
“Take him to the stables.
Maybe a few stomps from the horses will calm him down.
If he survives, drag him back.”
His tone was light, almost joking, but the men acted immediately, pulling Rodrigo away from Hannah.
Rodrigo flailed, incensed.
“How dare you ignore my orders? Screw you! The boss wanted you to assist me, not this jerk! Let me go!”
Despite his protests, the men didn’t hesitate and continued towards the center of the horse farm.
As Hannah watched them, she sensed a change in Peterson’s demeanor.
Rodrigo continued to hurl insults, but it did nothing to stop the men from taking him to the racecourse.
“What’s going on here?”
A new voice interrupted the scene.
Several bodyguards trailed behind Remington, who noticed Hannah near the racecourse.
“Miss Moore, you’re here as well,” he observed.
Hannah acknowledged him with a nod.
Remington then ordered the men, “Bring him back here.”
Peterson joined Remington, smiling.
“Remington, he insulted Miss Moore.
I was merely teaching him a lesson.”
“Rubbish! Don’t listen to him!” Rodrigo shouted as he was set down.
