Hannah tapped her fingers thoughtfully on the bed.

There had to be something they were overlooking.

If her suspicion about the forbidden drug was correct, it would link directly to the Jade Paradise and Amelie.

“Wait! There is someone else who’s been in contact with Father recently!” Trent suddenly exclaimed.

Hannah and Keith immediately turned to him.

“Who? Who is it?”

Trent blinked.

“Maloney, the eldest son of the Pierce family.”

Keith immediately smacked his brother on the head.

“Do you think Maloney would harm our father? That makes no sense.”

Feeling wronged, Trent rubbed his head.

“Didn’t Hannah just say we should tell her everything, even if we don’t suspect them? Since Maloney came back, he’s been in frequent contact with Father.

But… nothing stands out as suspicious.”

Maloney didn’t seem like a plausible suspect.

He wouldn’t have waited this long if he had wanted to harm Wallace.

Hannah lowered her gaze.

“Forget it.

The culprit’s probably confident they won’t be discovered and hasn’t left the Compton family.”

“Why?” Keith asked, puzzled.

“If someone from the Compton family who had contact with Wallace suddenly fled or disappeared without reason, or switched sides to Wilfred, wouldn’t you have told me?”

“Hmm…” Keith rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

“That’s true.

Let me think again.

Maybe there’s someone else who could have gotten close to him.”

Trent suddenly remembered something.

“We forgot about Faustina.

She’s the closest person to Father in the organization.

She’s high-ranking, and she wasn’t involved in the Amelie incident last time.”

Keith frowned.

Charlie, who recently got promoted, was originally on Amelie’s side.

And since he’s become a team leader, he now has access to Wallace.”

Keith replied, “They should still be at the manor.

While some minor members have defected to Wilfred, none of the captains have left.

We left people to guard the manor during the emergency.

If they weren’t guilty, they wouldn’t have run.”

Trent then added, “Conor’s gone too.

Could it be him?”

“No,” Hannah replied, dismissing the idea.

“It’s not him.

Once Wallace’s condition stabilizes, I’ll return to the manor myself.”

Trent immediately offered, “I’ll go with you!”

Hannah quickly refused.

“You need to stay here and heal.

I have someone else who can go with me to the manor.”
