Chapter 48

Scarlett’s POV

It’s been a frustrating month of pretending to be okay with that damn girl. I had to postpone my plans, so I could get everyone’s eyes away from me.

But I do make occasional visits to the palace. Whenever I came across her, I showed her maximum respect, but I never tried to befriend her. I always had this guilty expression all over my face any time I meet with her or Laci.

It wasn’t until last week that she started coming out and I kept track of her every move. The place she frequented and everything I could use to lure her out of the palace.

Gradually, their attention was diverted from me and I was relieved. I think I better make preparations before Niyol comes back in a week’s time.

I had to find a good opportunity to kidnap her and also the suspicion should be directed to someone else. Although I would still go ahead with the plan even if there is no one to pin it on. At least, I won’t be the one being suspected.

I kept an eye on every little thing in the palace so that I could find the best way to entrap her. It took me a lot of patience and perseverance to finally find a means.

I noticed that she craves fresh air a lot, so I had mentioned a very good spot for her through one of the servants I had used as a spy. She had been mentioning the place anytime that damn girl craves for fresh air.

I had hoped that one day she would eventually go there. If she doesn’t go there, I would find another means. I had already told the gang to keep an eye on that place.

Once my plan swings to action, I would move her to a far away place that even Niyol wouldn’t know. Or better still, I would send her back to her pack.

The investigation I had made on her shows she was from a faraway pack from here. My servant spy had heard the damn girl and Laci discussing her pack.

It seemed she was driven away because of some atrocities she must have committed. So if I can find out where exactly her pack was, I could simply send her there.

I was sure they won’t spare her. Her atrocities might have involved death, that was why she ran away from her pack.

Was it just because of her cursed eye or did she do something very terrible? I would find out as soon as I get her.

But for now, I was overjoyed that I finally had a scapegoat to use. I mean someone who would be blamed for all of this.

I was going to pin all the suspicion on her. Luckily, Laci had already heard her saying such words. So what would happen if that damn girl actually disappears?

Who would be blamed in the long run? Who would everyone suspect for the act? It would be none other than the person who wants her to disappear!

I walked out of the palace feeling excited within. Once I was out of the palace, I made a dash into the forest. The sound of bones breaking and skin searing, I changed into my wolf form. I ran deeper into the forest, feeling pleased with myself!

I got to a hidden thatched house and changed back into my human form. There were clothes inside but I decided to remain naked. I was already feeling angry and pissed.

I was supposed to wait for him here so we could discuss our next plan and since he had already succeeded, we had to put the next one into action.

I waited patiently for him to come so we could discuss the plan effectively. It had to proceed as soon as possible.

Few minutes later, I smelled a familiar scent and my body shivered. It wasn’t because of the cold, but I could see my body reacting to the scent already.

I looked up to see him smiling at me. Although I had already draped light clothing on my body, it was still obvious that I was naked.

“Business or pleasure?” His deep voice cut through my wall of defense.

“Pleasure before business.” I simply replied as I let the clothing fall from my body.

His eyes roamed all over my body and I couldn’t control myself too. Although I wanted Niyole to be the person here this minute, I think I would make do with him.

“Still thinking about him? Are you sure he can make you feel the way I always do, Scarlett?” He said, whispering into my ears.

“Are you asking me that? If you are half the man he is, don’t you think you would have made me yours even after all the years together?” I asked him.

“You always say that! Does it mean he had fvcked you? He hasn’t, right? You don’t know how he is, yet you are fighting to be by his side!” He said, sounding angry.

“I am not just fighting because I need him to f**k me. I already have you for that, right? All I really want by staying by his side is go become the Luna. That’s why I can’t sit back and watch that damn girl take what rightfully belongs to me!” I said, feeling pissed off.

I pushed him a little from my body but he did not budge. Rather, he grabbed my face and started k!ssing me roughly. My body immediately reacted to his every touch as m0ans left my mouth.

I whined under his sensual touch and I couldn’t wait to remove his shirt. He didn’t change to his wolf so his clothes were intact and it was becoming a hindrance.

“Get this f*****g shirt off!” I told him, impatiently. He let out a soft chuckle as he tore the shirt instead.

He drew me closer to his chest and held up my bum, my back on the wall of the hut.

“It’s gonna be quick, sweetheart. I need to go back to my father for an urgent meeting in an hour’s time,” he said.

Before I could respond to his words, he came into me without warning and began to thrust deeply and fastly. My screams filled the whole hut as he pounded me with my bvtt bouncing up and down.

“Let’s move to business,” I said, standing up.” How would you get her out of the palace? You know she already trusts you.”

“Yeah. I know. I just wanted people to be wary of someone entirely different. You know I have to leave before Alpha Niyol comes. Let’s say, the deal should be in two days.” he said.

“How are you going to draw her out when you are already going to leave before the actual abduction? I mean you are supposed to lie to her that you will be leaving, right?” I asked.

“No, I don’t need to anymore. I will just lure her there while I engage myself with Laci. Don’t worry, it will surely go as planned, Scarlett.” he said.

“Alright, I trust you.” I told him, circling my hands around his chest.

“Tell me, how did you find out she will be at the supermarket?” He asked.

“It’s not hard. I just made a trip to the palace and the Queen mother told me where they were headed to. Apparently, she found out so she could humiliate her by using Aunt Maria. Luckily, you arrived on time!” I told him.

He put on a disgusted face as he said, “Yeah. But I must applaud Niyol for being able to be with such a mate. Not only was her eyes scary, she was just too stupid!”

“I can’t imagine looking at those eyes all the time! You know I still have nightmares thinking about those eyes!.”

“Nightmares? I thought someone called her beautiful? Did you then have a beautiful nightmare?” I asked, smiling.

“You wish! I just wanted to gain her trust, but I am glad we are ending this game in three days time. I can’t wait to get this done once and for all!” He said.

I wish for that more than anyone. I want that damn girl out of this pack forever!
