Chapter 82

Alpha Niyol’s POV

I woke up very early and freshened up. I was ready to visit the station and if those hoodlums hadn’t said anything, then I was ready to extract the truth out of them myself. I rushed through my wardrobe and picked something casual.

“Isn’t that too casual for a day like this?” Chester asked as he entered the room.

“I am okay with it. I don’t really want to wear royal clothes today. There are people I need to deal with.” I answered and he chuckled.

“If you’re okay with it then I have no problem. Anyways, the car is ready. We are waiting for you.”

“We?” I asked since I was expecting no one else.

“Yes. Laci and Julianna.” Chester answered.

“They really got ready fast.” I said as I put on my shoes.

“Laci couldn’t wait to go there so she made Julianna to hasten up as well.” Chester said and I nodded.

“Let’s go,” I motioned to the door after putting on my shoes and we left. We got to the door and I entered the driver’s seat. “I’ll be the one to drive today, Chester. Just come in and sit down.” I said. I wanted us to be there as fast as possible.

“Just slow down! Chester drive please. Niyol, I am not ready to die yet.” Laci complained.

“Don’t worry. I will not drive recklessly. We’ll go steadily.” I assured her, but she didn’t believe me.

“Let’s do that another day. Please, let Chester drive.” She insisted.

“Don’t worry, Laci. Our Alpha is a man of his word. He won’t drive us into a ditch” Chester said and entered the car. I scoffed at the sarcasm in his tone and turned on the ignition. I stepped on the brakes and we zoomed off.

We got to the station in no time and I parked the car. They stepped down and looked at me.

“You’re welcome,” I bowed in a friendly manner and entered the station.

“Can you imagine that guy?” I heard Laci mutter as they followed behind. We met the officers at the counter and they bowed.

“Good morning, your grace.” They greeted me and I nodded.

“Alpha Niyol, what brings you here so early?” The detective asked, coming out of a room there.

“You already know what I am here for.” I answered with my hands tucked into my pockets.

“They’re in the interrogation room. I’d appreciate it if you stay here and they’ll come see you.” He said and I scoffed.

“I don’t have time for that. If your officers can’t get the truth out of them, I’ll have to do that myself. Take me to the interrogation room.” I ordered.

“Okay, Alpha Niyol.” He bowed and led the way.

I signalled for the rest to follow me and they did. We first visited Scarlett and Henry. Two of them sat across from each other while two officers tried to bring the truth out from them.

“The Alpha is here,” The detective announced and left. It seemed like he had something to take care of.

“Welcome, your highness.” The two police officers bowed and I nodded.

“How is it going with you two?” I asked the officers.

They shook their heads. “They’re really stubborn. They have refused to open their mouths since last night,” One of them said.

“And I told you all to give them the most gruesome torture possible till they open their mouths!” I snapped.

“We did, your grace, but they’ve remained obstinate and refused to talk” The second officer replied.

I looked at Henry and Scarlett. They had their mouths pressed together like they had connived with themselves not to talk. Their cheeks were swollen and there were bruises all over their faces and hands.

“Are they acting dumb now?” Laci asked, disgust evident in her tone.

“Step aside,” I ordered the two officers and they left their seats. I sat down and Laci sat beside me while Chester and Julianna stood, watching us.

“You two really showed me that people can’t be trusted. I’d be lying if I say that I am not shocked and surprised at what you two did. I am also disappointed because I never expected this level of betrayal.” I looked at Henry. “All the things you did for Koko were all an act to kidnap and torture her later on, right?” I asked but he was quiet. “Answer me when I ask you a question!” I yelled, using my Alpha authority to compel him. He had no choice but to release his lips. He nodded at my words and I scoffed.

I turned to Scarlett. “And you, the only reason why you frequented the palace was for your own selfish gain. Do you really think that I would have married you if anything happened? You must have really thought highly of yourself. Why would you even think that way?” I asked.

“Because she is a cursed girl!” Scarlett snapped.

Before I could react, Laci landed two slaps on her already swollen cheeks.

“Don’t you dare call her that! You’re so shameless! After all you’ve done, you still had the guts to insult her?” Laci snapped.

“People like her deserve to rot in hell.” Julianna chimed in.

“Now, I don’t want to ask this question twice. Where did you guys keep Koko?” I asked.

They were quiet and refused to talk.

“Their silence is really annoying me,” Chester said.

“Maybe they think they’re gonna be released. Look here rascals, you can only be released after 48 hours if there is no evidence against you, but don’t keep your hopes up because there is a ton of evidence here with us. You better start talking and save yourself the stress.” Julianna said.

I loved her courage! She was acting like a true investigator.

“Are you ready to talk now?”

I snapped my fingers and the officers entered with an electric iron. “You will suffer more than what you have made my Koko suffer.

“Plug it!” I ordered and the officers plugged the iron to the socket.

“You can’t do this!” Scarlett said. Tears was already rolling down her cheeks.

“So now you can talk? Are you two ready to tell me where she is?” I asked.

“We have no idea where she is. We were only told by the men that she shifted to her wolf and killed some of them before running off.” Henry answered.

“I am not surprised that you can lie this much. After all, that’s what you have been into all your life.” I scoffed.

“I swear! You have to believe us!” Henry said.

“Let them have it for ten seconds!” I ordered.

The officers took the hot iron and placed it on Henry’s arm. His shout resonated throughout the whole station.

They weren’t remorseful when they tortured my mate so, I won’t be remorseful when I torture them as well. I’ll give ten times of what they gave her; hurt them ten times more than they hurt her and make them feel pains ten times more than what she felt. I won’t spare any of them! I will make them beg for death!

“Please, please, Alpha Niyol, Laci..” Scarlett called as they brought the iron to her.

“Do not call my name, you she devil! Now you will get to know what it feels like to be pained. This is just the beginning of your torture. Whether you open your mouth or not, you must pay for your evil deeds!” Laci said.

“They were happy when torturing her. They really didn’t know that the world is a round place, do they?” Julianna asked rhetorically.

“They deserve more than this in a hundred folds,” Chester said.

Scarlett screamed as it made contact with her skin. I ignored her pleas and watched how Henry suffered.

“That is gonna leave a mark, right?” I asked and he looked at me with teary eyes. “I want you to use that as a remembrance of your evil deeds and how you got punished for them.” I said.

The officers left Scarlett who was already crying profusely.

“This is just the beginning. Now, tell me, where is Koko?” I asked.

“We don’t know. We were planning to kill her, but we couldn’t find her when we got to our hideout. She escaped!” Scarlett cried.

“Your grace, I don’t think they really know where Miss Koko is. According to them, they left their men to look after her while they came to you in the palace, so I suggest you also visit the cells of those men.” One of the officers said and I stood up.

“They said they don’t know where she is either. I have interrogated them too.” The second officer said, but I wanted to see and hear for myself.

“When it cools off, give them another taste on the same spot.” I ordered and left there with the others.

The officer who led the way hastened up when he saw that I had scoffed at his slow pace. We got to the second interrogation room and what welcomed me was the stench of b***d.

“You all should wait outside. I’ll go in alone.” I said.

“I want to come with you. I really want to punish them too,” Laci said.

“You need to stay here. The stench in here isn’t welcoming,” I told her.

“I can handle it.” Laci was adamant,

but I was not going to let her in here.

Chester placed his hand on her shoulder and she sighed. I was about to step in fully when I felt something familiar again. I could swear it was Koko’s wolf coming to the surface. I came out of the room and looked around as a smile formed on my face.

“She shifted again!”
