Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1763
At Mercy Hospital.
Holden was by Ariana’s side in her hospital room.
Since Melon had been taken away by Moss, Ariana had been unable to eat or sleep.
She was utterly overwhelmed with worry.
Holden patiently tried to comfort Ariana.
Even Adele seemed to pick up on her mother’s mood and climbed onto the bed to curl up in Ariana’s arms.
With eyes red from crying, Ariana held Adele close.
Only her close friends knew that Adele was her daughter; Moss didn’t know this, which was why he hadn’t abducted Adele.

The ward remained silent for a long while until Holden finally broke it.
He handed Ariana the latest investigation findings, detailing Spencer and his wife’s unsuccessful attempts at in vitro fertilization in their younger years.
“Spencer and his wife were never able to have children of their own,” Holden said.
Ariana’s eyes lowered as she pored over the Edwards couple’s history.
Her face paled, and her body trembled involuntarily as the realization sank in—she truly wasn’t their biological child.
What a cruel twist of fate.
A bitter smile played on Ariana’s lips, and Holden felt a pang of sympathy.
However, with matters having progressed this far, he knew he had to unveil the entire truth to prevent future complications.
He presented Ariana with another document.
“The Fredrick family’s intelligence agency uncovered a clandestine deal between the Edwards couple and the Happer family.
When you were still a young girl, the Happer family was put in prison.
” Holden’s gaze met Ariana’s tear-filled eyes as he continued, “The Happer family began their legacy with smuggling.
While they legitimized some of their operations, much remained illegal and unsavory—human trafficking and drug trade, for instance.
They were eventually arrested after substantial evidence was gathered.
Given the Happer family’s involvement in child trafficking, the nature of their deal with Spencer is clear.
”
Ariana listened, her mind reeling, as she stared at the document before her.
It plainly stated that Spencer had spent tens of millions to purchase a child.
Though the document didn’t have the child’s name, Ariana knew with crushing certainty that it was her.
Tears streamed down her face as she bent over, overcome with sobs.
She thought of her life with the Edwards family, of the mother she missed so dearly.
The Edwards couple had been so good to her—how could they not be her real parents? Even after Spencer’s remarriage, he had always cared for her.
Witnessing Ariana’s distress, Adele clambered out of Ariana’s arms and knelt on the bed, gently wiping away Ariana’s tears.
“Mom, please don’t cry,” she whispered, trying to comfort Ariana.
Ariana’s mind drifted to her childhood.
She recalled being a mischievous little girl who had once fallen and hurt herself.
She hadn’t cried much then, but her adoptive mother had been so concerned that she had wept even harder than her.
Back then, she had comforted her adoptive mother just as Adele was doing now…
