Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1795
He thought that if Melon stayed with him and received direct instruction, the child could achieve great things in biology and might even surpass him in this field.
Unfortunately, Melon couldn’t stay with him for much longer.
Melon, still burping and exhausted, didn’t know Moss’ thoughts.
It felt like a switch had been flipped inside him, making it impossible for him to stop burping.
Tears streamed down his face, soaking his collar and making him look pitiable.
Moss, arms crossed, observed Melon’s tears with a hint of detached amusement.
“Please help… Help me…” Melon’s tearful eyes fixed on Moss, silently begging for assistance.
No one could resist such an adorable plea, but Moss was an exception.
Moss, his face expressionless, watched Melon without budging.
“I’ve already pointed out the mistake in your experiment.
You need to try it again.
If you succeed, I’ll help you.”
Melon stared at him, stunned.
As he hiccuped wildly, focusing on the experiment seemed impossible.
“Could you please…” Melon’s throat was sore from continuous burping.
Struggling to hold back tears, he said, “Could you please help me first… When I stop burping… I’ll try to do the experiment again…”
The next second, Moss’ ruthless refusal was heard.
Melon stiffened for a moment, and then, he cried out loud.
“Be quiet!” Moss commanded, frowning.
Hearing this, Melon momentarily stopped sobbing, and he burped again.
“So… Are you going to make the antidote for me?”
Learning that Moss’ demand for silence was simply because he was being too noisy, Melon felt aggrieved.
If Moss didn’t want to make the antidote for him, why did he care if he was crying?
Melon kept crying.
Three minutes later.
Moss, clearly fed up, said in a cold voice, “You’re so weak to cry over a few burps.
How can you grow up and be a strong man like this? To join the Valdez family, you need to be tougher!”
Moss scolded Melon whenever he cried, and this made Melon feel frustrated.
What was wrong with him crying? He was barely six years old!
Children had every right to shed tears.
When Moss mentioned the Valdez family, Melon wanted to say he wasn’t part of it, but he knew better than to challenge Moss’ authority.
