Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1794
To an outsider, Melon could appear to be a prodigy in science, engaging with complex chemicals before even reaching six years old.
Moss chuckled to himself at the thought and chose not to disturb the boy’s experiment, instead returning his focus to his own experiment.
Melon, remembering the potion codes Moss had listed earlier, carefully measured and poured vibrant liquids into a flask, stirring with a glass rod.
Something went awry, and the flask burst, making Melon jump with fright.
This marked the failure of his first attempt.
Undeterred, Melon wiped down the table with a duster cloth and prepared for another try.
The second experiment didn’t erupt in disaster.
He had concocted a potion as dark as a witch’s poison from a fairy tale.
The sinister color made Melon hesitant.
His face twisted in disgust.
He braced himself, finally mustering just enough courage to taste it with the tip of his tongue.
As the bitter flavor engulfed him, Melon quickly shoved strawberries into his mouth, desperate to quell the taste.
Half an hour earlier, Moss had completed his own experiment and come to watch Melon struggle with his.
As Melon popped strawberries into his mouth, Moss scoffed, “Boy, you can’t figure it out, right?”
Melon turned to face Moss, tilting his chin defiantly.
“Don’t get too smug.
I’m still learning as a kid.”
Moss just snorted dismissively and returned to do his next experiment.
Melon turned to look at his dark potion again.
He muttered to himself, “This isn’t right.
I’m out of my depth here.
Maybe I need to read a book about this.”

Spotting a stack of books on a nearby table, he rushed over with excitement.
After reading something, Melon mixed up a new potion, this time a transparent pink potion.
With the lesson from his previous attempt still fresh in his mind, Melon dared not gulp the potion down.
Instead, he tentatively extended his tongue for a taste.
To his surprise, the potion was pleasantly sweet and had a fruit flavor.
Feeling braver, Melon decided to drink the entire flask, hoping it would return his voice to its normal state.
However, instead of fixing his voice, the potion made him hiccup uncontroLlably.
Melon was startled, and the constant burping almost made him unable to speak.
A sudden burst of air threw him off balance, and he tumbled to sit on the floor.
He quickly raised his head, tears filling his eyes.
“Moss, what’s… What’s happening to me now…”
Moss, watching Melon with a mix of amusement and satisfaction, couldn’t help but feel amused by the scene.
“You’re doing well, Melon.
You’ve tackled those tricky chemistry books, and your antidote is almost spot-on.”
“Then… Why am I… Still burping…” Melon’s face clouded with confusion.
“You are burping because you made a mistake in the key step,” Moss said.
Although Moss’ expression remained cold and distant, a flicker of surprise crossed his face.
He hadn’t expected Melon to successfully create an antidote on his own.
Moss noted that while the antidote wasn’t perfect, Melon was only about six years old.
Most kids his age were playing with toys, yet Melon was tackling complex tasks by himself.
That was truly impressive.
Realizing this, Moss pressed his lips together, and a trace of unspoken satisfaction softened his gaze.
