Loki POV

Hero finally got our mate to mark him in human form. Now I can take and mark Midnight. For alphas the mate bond becomes even stronger with our luna if the marking and mating process is complete on our humans’ end, but if we as wolves also complete the marking and mating with our luna’s wolf… Then the strength and power we feel will increase 10 full. Lucifer, Fang, and I all want to mark Midnight because of that bastard.

No matter where he tries to hide her, the mate bond will lead us to her. “Midnight?” I call out to her using our mate link, that was established the night that our humans marked Jessabella. She stops drinking the water from the lake and looks toward me. “Yes Loki?” Her voice was like a prue melody to me and her dark black fur looked shiny in the sunlight. I put down the basket I was carrying back and walked over to her.

I lick her muzzle and rub my head on her. I stand taller than her, so she fits perfectly underneath my head while she nuzzles into my neck. “I want to complete the mating bond in wolf form as well, but only if you wish for it as well.” I felt her purr underneath me. She lifted her head and gently nibbled on my ear, causing a growl to come from me. “Why do you think I was teasing you on the way here?” Was all she said before she flicked my nose with her tail and dashed off into the woods.

The female will never stop surprising me. I chased after her. Out of the three of us alphas, I was the fastest. Lucifer was the strongest and Fang was more clever with strategy. Midnight was indeed really fast. I don’t remember the last time I had to go full speed to catch my prey. I chased Midnight into a small clearing of wildflowers. I pounced and tackled her to the ground.

The momentum of our running speed caused us to roll. When we stopped I had her pinned to the ground underneath me. Midnight looked at me with her gorgeous and hypnotizing different color eyes. She purred and rubbed her nose against mine. “Just like our humans have told Jessabelle. We will protect you with our lives and love you forever.” I said to her as I let her up.

Midnight stood up and bent forward. Without hesitation, I sped around behind her and mounted her. I heard her whimper softly as I entered her. “Loki.” she called out to me like our humans did when they felt the pleasure of becoming one. I could no longer hold it. I bit down on her marking spot, just above her collarbone. While my teeth were marking her, Midnight let out a powerful howl. I release her and lick my mark. Once I dismount her she spins around and bites me on my marking spot. I growl in pleasure. Midnight and Jessabelle are the only ones allowed near our necks.

Alphas never let anyone, except for a mate near their neck. The neck is the weakest spot on the wolf and is the quickest kill shot in a fight. A mate would only touch or bite us here and only for pleasure. “Now that we have taken care of that. Let’s get home. Jess is extremely tired now.” Midnight says. I nod and we race off, back to home.
