Jess’s POV

As soon as I got back to the pack house with Hero, I dashed to our room and took a nice hot bath. ‘I didn’t know marking and mating in both human and wolf form could really do a number on the body.’ Midnight giggled in my mind. ‘What did you expect sweetie? Marking someone and being marked takes quite a lot of energy out of you. Remember when the triplets all marked you at once? You passed out for a little bit.’ I rolled my eyes at her playfully.

‘Yes I remember, but now you and Loki started marking and mating on the wolf’s end. Give me a day or two before you mark and mate with Lucifer and Fang, please?’ ‘Of course Jess. Your body is mine as well. I feel just as sore as you.’ I smiled. I finished my bath and dried off. I am too sore and lazy to get dressed so I jump into bed and under the covers. Falling asleep as soon as I hit the soft cozy pillow.

I wake up to someone running their fingers through my hair. I slightly g*****d and opened my eyes to see that it was Layla. My eye snapped open and I rushed to sit up, but she stopped me. “I didn’t mean to startle you dear. I came to check on you since I didn’t see you at dinner. Did my sons wear you out?” I giggled as Layla continued to play with my hair. “Not just them, their wolves too. Loki and Midnight started the marking and mating process on their side, saying it will increase our bond more.” I said and she smiled gently at me.

“I just felt a little more drained than when I was marked in my human form and it was only Loki this time. When all three of your sons marked me in human form at once I passed out for a little bit, but just Loki alone made my body sore and energy drained.” Layla then repositioned herself to start massaging my shoulders and back. Cracking a few of my joints in the process and relieved the tension in my body. “I know all too well how much alpha wolves can be horn dogs, but I only had to deal with one. You my dear have three. They love you very much and I have never seen them so happy since they brought you home.” She finished messaging me and I sat up, wrapping the sheet around my body. “I think you should finish the marking with the other two after your Luna Ceremony.” She said.

I tilted my head in confusion. “Why?” I asked. I can’t believe I still feel so naive about some pack stuff. I mostly focused on fighting and working over in Thunder Mountain. “Well just like the alpha is like the father of a pack, the luna is the mother. Making the connection with your pack fills your spirit with energy. I did the wolf mark and mate with Fleix after I became his luna and I didn’t get tired out.” I nod at her words. “So the other two won’t completely drain me if I complete the process after officially becoming the luna of this pack?” She smiles and nods. “Which we have everything in order. I just need to know the date you want and get you fitted for a luna gown.”

I smiled. Layla and Felix really took care of everything, and so fast too. They really have been looking forward to their sons bringing their mate home. “How about this Saturday? That gives other packs 5 days to arrange to come.” She smiles and hugs me tightly. “Yes, Saturday will work perfectly. Though to make sure you are not tired the day of the party, my sons will be sleeping in their own rooms the night before.” She playfully glares and I burst out laughing. “Deal.” I said as I hugged her back.
