Wild Love With My Triplet Mates -
Chapter 57
The week went by faster than I thought. Training has progressed really well. I can now use my powers to do a lot of simple tasks. Like I helped get the giant ballroom decorated for the ceremony tomorrow. Rico was very impressed with how my control has become. I have slowly gotten my meditation pretty well too. Shianna was very helpful. She took me to the training grounds instead of the quiet garden like Sasha did. Shianna said that being around a place that truly calms you helps. I found that listening to the warriors train and toss each other around, took me back to the time it was Jorge, Ryan, Raphael, and me rough housing around together.
The memory helped ease me into a state where I could feel that energy from nature like Sasha told me about before. So since then, I have taken my meditation training in the training grounds instead of the garden like Sasha. With my mind becoming a bit stronger, I was able to start using my illusion powers. Though only small ones right now. Just this morning I made Brandon turn beet red with a small illusion I made him see alone.
He was teasing my mates because Layla was sticking to what she said before. Tonight the triplets will be in their own rooms, so I will get a full night’s rest. The triplets have been sulking all day. After my little illusion he stopped. Everyone was dying to know what I made him see. Brandon just shot me a glare as if saying ‘don’t even think about it.’ I laughed and zipped my mouth. Sabrina would kill me if she knew.
I was pulled from my thoughts of the past week when Felix came over and called my name. “Jess, Layla says that they are ready for you in the luna’s office for your dress fitting.” He said with a sweet calming smile. “Oh that’s right, I forgot about it.” I chuckled nervously. I didn’t really forget, but I hate dresses with a passion. Plus I promised both Layla and Leo that I would wear the proper dress for the ceremony, as long as I get to change into something more comfortable afterwards. Felix grins and playfully winks.
I can’t be surprised anymore by Felix and Layla. They know me just as well as my family and new friends here in Raven Moon. I entered the office that Layla said will be mine after tonight. She and Sohpie were waiting for me. “Ah there you are dear. Come on in and strip, we need to do the final check on the dress.” I sigh and strip down to my underwear. Sophie helps me get the dress on and zips up the back. It is a flowing silver dress with black and bluegreen. Silver and black were the pack colors, but I wanted something to represent me in a way. So Layla thought of using my eye color as part of the trim.
The dress was made of silk, so it wasn’t itchy and allowed my body to breathe. It had long sleeves, but left my neck and shoulders exposed. It went all the way to my ankles and hugged my waist and chest gently. I wiggled around in it to get a feel for it. Sophie laughs at me. “You know it is mostly for the ceremony, you are not going to be fighting in it.” I shrugged and smirked. “Well when you get targeted by some undead bastard, then you can tell me what to fight in. You should always be prepared.” I giggled at my slightly dark joke. Sophie and Layla both smiled and rolled their eyes at me.
Sophie’s eyes glazed over for a minute. “Roy, Alex, and Selena are here. Shall I tell them to come up?” I nod as Layla pulls out the shoes she picked for tomorrow. “Jess! You look stunning.” I smile as Selena ditches my brother to run over and give me a hug. Roy and Alex looked over at me smiling. Roy then pulled Sophie into a tight hug. “So will there be a tournament in your honor too?” Alex asked with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes at him and gently hit his arm. “No, the triplets wouldn’t do that because I would enter and we all know what happened last time.” I said in a smart a*s tone of voice. Alex looked over at Roy and smiled. “Yeah you would kick everyone’s a*s while almost breaking all of your own bones.” Alex shot at me, while Roy started to laugh. I faked innocence at his remark. “Now big brother that is not me in the slightest. What ever gave you that impression?” I said with big puppy dog eyes. Roy doubled over and Alex rubbed his chin as he remembered last time.
“Oh don’t even try missy. Remember you laid my a*s out cold in our match. Plus I saw all the notes that the doctor had on you. It filled 3 huge binders.” I g*****d at the thought of that pain in the a*s doctor. “He also hit me upside the head because I was related to you.” Alex said, raising an eyebrow. I shrugged and smiled. Alex then pulled me into a tight hug.
“Jessabelle?” I froze in Alex’s arms. I peeked around him and there I saw them. Mom, dad, and Roy’s father, Marcus. Out of relex I tighten my hold onto Alex’s shirt. He began to rub small circles on my back “Mom I thought I asked you guys to wait in the lounge. We didn’t want her to freak out,” Alex said softly. Feeling the bond between me and my twin made me feel just as safe as when I am with my mates or their parents.
Just as mom was about to protest, Layla stepped around Alex and me. Standing between us and our parents. “I understand that there are still some family disputes to sort out, but my daughter has a lot of stuff to do for tomorrow’s ceremony.” Layla kind of emphasized the ‘daughter’ part as she gave my parents a semi cold glare. “Now Sophie dear, will you please show them to their rooms?” She turned and smiled at Sophie. “Yes ma’am.” Sophie said as she led everyone, including Alex, out of the room.
It was just Layla and I now. Layla turned to me and smiled gently like she always does. “Now sweetie, I know in your heart you truly forgive them, but I also know that the pain is still there. There is nothing wrong with taking things slow. You talk to them when you are ready.” She said as she wrapped me into a hug. “They made you suffer all alone for 5 long years, they can wait until you are ready to speak with them on your terms. Not like it is going to kill them.” I softly cried into Layla’s shoulder and clung to her. “Thank you mom.” I whispered.
