Wild Love With My Triplet Mates -
Chapter 71
Sabrina’s POV
It has been a full week since Alex woke up. Now Alex and his wolf are fully recovered. While we were waiting for Alex’s wolf, Spike, to recover… I had Alex study and memorize a map of the territory around Raven Moon. I was finishing up the preparations for my spell in the garden when I felt two strong arms wrap around me from behind. “Are you ready for this babe? You seem kind of tired.” Brandon voiced his concern.
I lean my head back into his chest and smile. “I will be fine. I will be even better once we find Jess and Shainna and we have them both home safe and sound with their mates.” Brandon grunted at that. The triplets and Rico all have been really on edge without their mates the last two weeks. Though as the alphas and the beta of the they have done their best to keep themselves together, with minor issues that have set them off.
“I am ready to find them and bring them home. I can’t imagine how they are fairing with those monsters.” I said. Just thinking about how Shianna and Jess are being treated by them makes me feel sick to my stomach. Soon Alex, Roy, and the triplets came into the garden. “So is everything ready, Sabrina?” Leo asked. I nodded and turned to Alex. “Alex, did you memorize the map I gave you?” I asked.
For some reason Alex stiffens at my question and hides behind Roy. Moving as far away from Leo, who was smirking, as possible. “Y-y-yeah I got it all memorized. I promise!” he stammered out. I tilt my head to the side. “Did something happen?” I asked. Zero rolled his eyes and lightly shook his head. “The only thing that happened was that Alex got a private lesson from the teacher from hell.” He said.
“Teacher from hell is putting it lightly bro… I think what Leo did to Alex was over the top. Hahaha” Hero laughed. Leo just looked proud. “Alex what did he do to you?” Roy asked. “He made me draw that map over and over and everytime the smallest thing was off he would smack me for it and lecture me. I drew that damn map over 100 times this past week.” Alex said quickly in one breath and then tucked back behind his best friend.
Brandon and I laughed. Yeah I could see why he is so scared of Leo now, but Leo is only like this because he wants his mate. “Ok we then let us put that to good use now and find Jess.” I said. Everyone turned serious. Roy moved away from my pentagram I drew in the garden. I direct the others where they need to be. “Leo, I need you to stand here and Zero there.” I put them on the right side and then I point to the left side. “Hero over there and Brandon, I need you here.”
The triplets and Brandon went to the spots I told them to go. “Ok. Now don’t move until the spell is done.” I instructed. They all nod. “Alex, you need to sit here.” Alex sat down in the center and I sat across from him. I placed the map between us. “Alright Alex. We are going to take this step by step. So for now focus on your wolf. Relax yourself and allow your mind to fall into your subconscious state.” He nodded and closed his eyes. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes and recited the dream spell.
My mind was taken to the dream realm. Witches don’t often come here because this is the realm where demons such as incubus and succubus come to feed on the nightmares or s****l desires of others. I walk up to a navy blue door that has ‘Alex’ written on it with his wolf’s name underneath his. I knocked on the door three times. “Spike, I need you to open the door.” I call out calmly. I hear three soft scratches come from the other side. The door turns to a light grey color and the names flipped. Spike’s name was now above Alex’s. The door opened and allowed me to walk into Spike’s world in the back of Alex’s mind.
Alex’s POV
I closed my eyes just as Sabrina instructed me to. I heard her say her spell and felt myself fall into a comfortable state. Like I was sleeping on air, but I felt my mind falling deeper and deeper into the back of my mind. I opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful night sky I had ever seen. I was laying on my back, I sat up and looked around. I was in the middle of a forest, by a lake, under a stunning full moon.
“Welcome to my world, Alex.” I heard a deep voice behind me. I spun around and saw Spike. “Your world?” I asked him. He nods his huge wolf head. “Yes. All wolves create their own sanctuary within our human’s mind. It is usually made up of memories from our human’s life. This is where I stay when you are in control of our body.” he explains. Before I could ask anymore questions, I heard Sabrina calling out to Spike. “Spike, I need you to open the door.” She said. Her voice echoed through the trees as if she was everywhere at once.
Spike walked over to the biggest pine tree in the center of the treeline. He scratched the bark gently three times, and out of nowhere a light grey door formed in the tree and opened. I was blinded by the light for a few seconds, then Sabrina’s figure came into view. As soon as she was inside, the door closed and merged back into the tree trunk. “I have so many questions right now.” I mumble out. Sabrina smiled and Spike grunted, like he was trying to laugh at me.
“I would be more surprised if you didn’t. Not many humans come to their wolf’s world and leave.” Sabrina said. I felt my heart still. “Will I be able to get back out?” I asked. Spike nodded. “Humans usually come here if they have been gravely injured and are in a very deep coma, the kind that few ever wake up from. Those that do wake up never remember this place.” “This place is in the deepest part of your mind. Since I used magic to get you here, with your wolf’s permission, then I can pull you back out with my magic.” Sabrina said.
I breathe a sigh of relief. I would gladly give my life to save my sister, esspecally after all the crap I put her through, but it was only natural to fear never seeing my family again. “Alright now down to business. It would not be wise to stay here longer than necessary.” Sabrina said. “Why?” I couldn’t stop myself from asking. “If we remain here for too long, even with Spike’s permission, your human side will be absorbed into your wolf side and be lost. In the end it would turn you and Spike into nothing more than a feral beast.” I swallowed hard. I was happy she didn’t sugar code it even if it was something she knew I wasn’t going to like.
“Ok, let’s get this started.” I said. Sabrina nodded and then she turned to Spike. “Spike I am going to cast a spell on you to widen your bond with Midnight. Even though she was teleported away, you will still smell her scent through your bond.” “Ok and how would this spell help… would it widen my sense of smell or something like that?” He asked. “It will practically make scents visible to your eyes. So even if you can’t smell her, you can see her scent trail. All we need to do is follow her trail and as we walk the way will be marked on the map I had Alex memorize.”
“How would that map actually help here? This place looks nothing like that map.” I asked. Sabrina turned to look at me and said. “Even if we are in Spike’s world he made himself. This is still your mind, Alex. You can change this place to take the form of the map’s landscape. Just close your eyes and focus on the map’s layout.” I nod and close my eyes. I could hear things shift around for a while as I thought of every detail on that map. When I didn’t hear anything more I opened my eyes and saw that everything did change.
We were now standing in front of the Raven Moon pack house and it was no longer night time. I looked towards Sabrina and Spike and Sabrina smiled at me. “Good work Alex. Now it is your turn Spike.” She said as she placed her hands on Spike’s massive head and casted another spell. When he re-opened his eyes they were glowing a bright yellow.
