Chloe's

POV:

"Which way do we head?"

"East," Titus replied, following closely behind me.

A very angry Marcus was walking on the other side of me with a deep scowl on his face, as I led us ahead into battle. I shot him a glance and his scowl deepened, which was really not a problem for me. He could go over to the pacific ocean and jump in for all I care!

We had stopped by earlier at Mark's and Lily's house, but just as I suspected, the place was empty. It looked like no one had been in there for sometime and it did not help the worry that started to build up on my stomach. Would we be able to make it in time before something drastic happened?

I really did wonder.

We proceeded on our march, this time we used the front gate of the town, not the woods. Titus had set up the barrier and we didn't want to start by trespassing on our neighbors, before they also found a reason to trespass on us also. The town was already bustling with life, and the few wolves who were already awake and outside, watch us as we passed. I waved, shooting a smile at everyone who greeted us. If only they knew that this was not some kind of friendly march, for example: children having a march past in the stadium. This was a march for war, for blood, for revenge and forward we go!

We walked out through the gates, and I let the smile die put of my lips. I kept a straight face, increasing my pace and encouraging the men to walk faster.

Titus yelled out orders at the soldiers to move faster and they did. To anyone watching, it looked like a group of werewolves taking a stroll to their favourite vacation place. If only they knew that we were going for everything but a vacation! After the gate, was just empty spaces upon empty spaces. It was no man's land so we could walk freely without fear of being attacked. We all walked in silence for about two? Three hours? I had lost count. The sun had started to heat up and it was beginning to get scorching.

I halted, making everyone halt with me. The little conversations they had been making also ceased and Marcus who had been quiet the whole time glaring at the back of my head, also raised a questioning brow.

I looked around is, some heads also followed to help me search for whatever I was looking for. After seeing that the coast was clear and I couldn't see or hear anything around us, I proceeded to clear my throat. "Isn't it a good day?" I started. "I have a very grave secret to reveal."

Marcus eyed me, moving to come stand beside me. "What do you think you are doing?" He hissed in my ear, gently tugging on my arm.

I did not bother to snatch my arm away from him, I let him hold me but still acted like he hadn't just spoken to me. "Chief-in-command, Gamma Titus?" I called.

Titus tensed up, his eyes widening a bit as he eyed me with curiosity. "Yes Luna Chloe," he replied with a low bow.

"Tell them what I am, who I am and what I wish to be!"

Marcus stiffened, shooting me another sharp look. It seemed like that was all he did around me since we woke up. He hadn't talked to me, only went about brooding and shooting me glares. "There is nothing to tell, Titus," he spoke in a cold voice.

I met his furious eyes, returning his challenging look as I said: "Titus, who do you pledge you loyalty to?"

"Both of you."

My nose flared in anger, as I turned to him. I raised a brow, "hm?"

Titus met my gaze unwaveringly. "I am loyal to you both and that has nothing to do with you both being Alpha or Luna, I owe respect to you individual persons."

His reply calmed me and I struggled not to smirk. I rolled my eyes over to Marcus, to see his eyes were still on me. "Now, with that rightly said, carry out the order I gave you."

"You wouldn't dare," Marcus hissed, his gaze finally moving to Titus.

Titus heaved a sigh, leaving where he was standing and came to stand beside me. "Our Luna is a vampire-"

Marcus growled beside me.

I felt my body tremble, as fear coursed through me. Thinking about this moment all night, I thought I was ready for this, I thought I was prepared. But now hearing the shocked gasps and disapproving grunts from the group, made me want to be anywhere but here. The desire to vanish seemed quite appealing, but I remained where I was.

"-and a werewolf," he added. That immediately seemed to get the attention of the wolves and their murmurings settled. "She is a hybrid, one of us and to her, do we all owe our loyalty!" He paused for a moment. "Whatever is said here, remains here! No one is allowed to leak a word of it to any member of the pack until our Luna is ready!"

I watched him as he left my side and came to stand in front of me. He fell on one knee, giving me a bow and I gasped in surprise, as the other soldiers followed, giving me their total loyalty and submission. I looked down when I felt Marcus grip my hand and when I raised my eyes, he was not looking at me, but at him men who knelt before our feet.

"Thank you all for accepting my wife, I assure you that she cares and loves this pack just as much as any of us do. She would rule beside me and if there is anyone who really opposes that, is an enemy of me. She will serve and protect her just as she will you and that is an order!"

They all chorused their agreement, their heads still bowed.

I commanded them to rise and they did. I spoke: "I am still in awe of your acceptance, I promise to work with you all in loyalty and truth. You would never have to question my loyalty, because I am with you till the end and I have no other family I would want to be with but you all, you complete me."

There was an uproar of cheers and applause, and I could not help the grin that spread on my face. Marcus chuckled beside me but when I looked up at him, he had on a straight face. I snorted, deciding to play along with his act and not bothering to speak to him.

Titus commanded the men to silence, then turned back to face us. "Luna," he called in a bold voice. "What next are we to do now that everyone already knows?"

A pleased smile came to my face, when he requested my opinion and thankfully, my cocky wolf of a husband had not interfered. I truly felt in charge for once and since ascending the throne as Luna, I truly felt like a queen. "We go pay the bad guys a little visit. After all, we would not want to be late for their party, would we?"

"No," they chorused.

"But...," I paused, making sure that I had all their attention. "I have a few rules and I would show you a few vampire abilities that I possess, ready?"

Some grunted their agreement, while others nodded. I listed out my rules and gave each man an assignment. I had asked Titus to take just a dozen well trained soldiers, because I did not want to scare the pack or alert the enemy. The fewer we are, the easier it would be to over power them(not like I could take them down on my own). When that was settled, I took a few steps away from them, deciding to show them my invisibility.

"Boom!" I yelled and vanished into thin air. I tried not to laugh at the shocked expressions on theirs faces and how Titus groaned and Marcus rolled his eyes. Someone in the crowd of confused soldiers spoke up, asking where I went and I was nice enough to give him a reply. "I am right here, don't you see me?"

They were trembling and I decided to give creepiness a break by reappearing right where I was standing.

"Well," I grinned, when I saw their awe-struck face. "What do you all think about that?"

"Show off," Marcus muttered so low that only I could have heard him. I slowly turned to. meet his stupid face and he was staring up ahead, not in anyway looking like the person who had just said that.

Not wanting to waste further time, I urged them to move forward and we continued on our journey. They was a there was a time my feet hot tired and I had to take to the air, floating effortlessly as they all struggled to meet up. By noon, we got to another wolf land, and by the map Titus held, we were still about five towns away from where we were headed.

I could have just teleported us over there, but I knew what I was targeting. I needed them to tire out, so all of my plans would fall in place just as I wanted. I could not let them getting in the way and trying to protect me, when they actually needed the protection more than I did.

"Do not think we should take a break?" Marcus asked and I gave him a side glance, before looking away. "The soldiers are getting tired and I think that would be a problem later, or don't you think so, Luna?"

There was a sharp edge to his voice, like he was suspecting me and if that was the case, I was proud to have him as my husband. That only showed how well he knew me and if I knew him well enough, I was not about to let him jeopardize my plans.

"Halt!"

I heard everyone stop behind me, and I turned around. "We are about a very quick exercise right now and everyone is going to take part in this. Once we leave her, no one is expected to speak out unless through the pack's link. Have I made myself clear?"

They grunted their replies.

I looked around me, taking in my surroundings and seeing if I would be a ble to find a stick. All thanks to grandpapa Dracula, I had learnt a new trick. It really did not take too much time before I found me a long, skinny bamboo. It was just long enough to hold thirteen people and that was good enough for me.

"You at the extreme," I called to a tall wolf with bulging muscles and a large beard. "Grab on to the end of this stick and the rest of you should do same." After everyone was on board, Titus finally held the last space on the stick. I grabbed Marcus's hand without his permission and good for him, he did not protest. Then I grabbed on to Titus's free hand and said: "ready for the ride?"

Without even waiting for their approval, I teleported, setting my mind on our destination and so it went. We appeared, right on our feet no body staggered.

They all looked around them in wonder and amazement, while I miles proudly to myself. That was just the tip of the iceberg and I had managed to awe them?

We are here now, nobody say a word and lower yourself on the floor.

They did as they were instructed, only one particular stubborn Alpha remained standing. I eyed him skeptically, but all he returned was a bored look and as I expected, I heard his voice in my head. You are going against the plan!

I gave him a beaming smile, shining my more than necessary. Oh sweetheart, you sit back and enjoy my surprise
