It's been one month since the king had left to attend the situation at borders. Despite of his mightiness, the FIFTH LAKE SHIFTERS were not even moving an inch. By the time he had arrived in Mangtu village, it was all deserted. It had been destroyed totally. The scene filled every onlooker with horror, as the previously flourished ground was now replaced with the piles of dead bodies of humans, creatures, animals and Vampires mercilessly. Some bodies were in so much mess that not even a single drop of blood was left in them. Some were burnt, and some were having their last breaths. It was a massacre; a merciless blood war. The king still decided to talk to the shifters' head, the ruling king so that he could stop the bloodshed, but all in vain. The new king of shifters wasn't ready to even listen to anything.

The treaty was now all shattered and the only thing that was in Faust's hands was to participate in war to ensure minimum loss of lives and property. If shifters took over the second village after Mangtu, the situation would be worse and it would be even more difficult to stop them, since the second village served as the entrance to Roxflood kingdom.

Herbew was continuously in touch with Faust, getting reports about the happenings of war. He was handling the castle and kingdom in his father's absence. Calista was always worried for her father's safety. Though, being a royal Pure blooded vampire, he couldn't be killed, but loss of pride was more devastating than loss of life.

In this past one month, she had been handling the business with Lexington corporation and was spending more than usual with Leevon. Both of them were now too close. Still, her secret of being a vampire and not a human was rooted in her heart and mind. She was too afraid to reveal it to him; for she feared about his reaction.

-Present time-

It's almost midnight and Calista and Leevon were sitting besides her kingdom garden over a slowly raised cliff watching the moon with interlocked fingers. Although they were too close to each other now, yet none of them didn't confess their feelings afraid of each other's reactions.

For Leevon, she was a princess. Approaching her with love and other feelings would not be good, still he loved her endlessly. For Calista, she had only fear and that was to reveal the truth of her being a vampire. Both had their own difficulties. Mustering up his courage, Leevon moved closer to Calista and held her hand even more tightly looking at her angelic face. He admired her beauty and his luck. How could he have her by his side! She was too perfect for him. "Calista, Do you want to say anything?" He asked, still with his gaze glued to her sweet smile.

She was smiling looking at the moon. These days she was always stressed about her father's situation, but being with Leevon was her relaxation. Her was her happy place after her father and brother. Herbew had been very busy with kingdom affairs these days. She had been lonely. This was also another reason for her closeness with Leevon.

"Do you want to say anything?" she asked him, still looking at the moon, feeling his tenderness when he brushed his fingers over hers. A soothing and sweet sensation ran over her body, making her dazzled. She wanted him close to her; even more closer than they already were.

He looked at her, feeling exasperated; eyes slightly hooded by now, may be because of tiredness- she concluded in her mind. Cupping her soft cheeks, he made her turn towards him and whispered softly,

"I always wanted to say this to you."

"Wh..what?" For the first time ever, her own voice deceived her. Words were cheating her tongue. The almightily pure blooded vampire princess was shrieked. Not out of fear, but out of that strange sweet feeling that made her float while still her butts were in touch with the ground.

"That you ... are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. Sometimes, I even feel that you aren't a human." He said softly, with hands lightly shivering, while eyes darting into her gunmetal blue orbs.

She felt as if the ground was pulled from under her feet. The whole ounces of adrenaline that her body produced probably in the last few days was getting released into her bloodstream. She was afraid now, that he came to know her identity and would leave her. "I.. I was .. about to..." she was struggling with the phrases and words.

"Ssshhhh...." He shushed her placing a finger over her rosy lips which looked vintage Red under the darkness illuminated by only moonlight. Her gunmetal blue eyes pierced his brown ones and he felt himself aroused. Aroused to the extent that he wanted to do countless things to her right now and take her to a trip of heavens under himself.

"Calista... I love you. Would you be mine?" He asked her still his hands resting over her cheeks while his thumbs were sending shivers to all her body whenever they brushed over her soft delicate skin. Her hands found their way to his arms, a little behind his palms and held them tightly.

Words had said goodbye to her tongue. If she'd been a human, she'd have cried by now- of course happy tears. But she was a vampire. Her ears still didn't believe what she heard and she gestured him to repeat his words.

He chuckled before saying that again. She nodded. He didn't even give her a single chance to admit her feelings and wrapped her in his arms tightly as if afraid of losing her. Caressing her soft hairs, he sniffed her mixed with night jasmine and daisies- a perfect blend. It was natural and soothing.

Her happiness didn't last longer when her conscience hit her harder reminding that she was a vampire and wasn't allowed to get involved with a human. She wanted to release him from that tight hug, but couldn't find the courage to do so. Instead her hands slowly slipped from his arms towards his back travelling all the way up towards his backbone sending electrical sparks. He hugged her even more tightly and planted a soft long kiss over her hair; a kiss of being a gentleman.

She shrugged off her thoughts and let herself drown in the emotions. After a while, they released themselves and he tucked a strand of hairs behind her ears brushing his fingertips over her ear lobe; a gesture of intimacy. Smile never left their faces and happiness flooded inside their brains.

"I want to kiss you." He made a move. It's a normal thing to exchange saliva when you love each other. It was her first kiss, but she wasn't sure about him. He guessed her uneasiness and responded before her wayward thoughts take over her brain to ruin the happy moment,

"You are always going to be my first."

Her tensed nerves relaxed and she felt even more joyous. Having someone you love, only for you is another level of feeling. She was feeling all those emotions too deeply. Unlike humans, Vampires are way more sensitive. They feel everything in greater depths, may it be love, danger, hate or anything else. Same was happening to her. Granting him the permission, she closed her eyes and let the emotions take over her.

Slowly he moved towards her, his fingertips never leaving her ear lobes and cheeks doing numerous hidden things and calming her. His eyes adored her every movement, even the slightest ones made by her fluttering eyelashes despite her closed eyes. His smile became even more prominent reaching over to his ears.

Leaning in close to her, he breathed out softly letting his hot warm breath land over her juicy lips. His upper lip brushed over her lower one tasting the Jasmine scent. The urge to have her under him stroked his brain even more strongly. Using his right thumb, he slightly carressed her lips and he pecked her softly.

Her eyebrows scrunched at this teasing. He chuckled, finding that she wanted way more than just a peck. She was about to open her eyes, but he acted first. His warm lips found her quivering, icy- cold lips in that moonlight under the sheer darkness, first brushing softly and then sucking hardly. She found her hands holding his shirt tightly making it wrinkled at places, but who cared.

His head tilted a bit towards left and he dominated the kiss deepening her trying to enter inside her mouth. He wanted more than that Jasmine scent. Struggling harder, he let his hand slip towards her waist exposed a bit under her lavender gown brushing the delicate layer of skin.

Her already cold body froze under his light sexy touches and a quick gasp left her lips, parting them lightly in between that sucking battle. Finding the opportunity, he hit the spot and entered inside her mouth tasting every corner; her tongue fighting hard to take control. He ran his tongue over her teeth and enjoyed the lingering taste of Caracoca- a dessert she had some hour ago, alongwith the mint and garlic flavor of prawns and lobsters.

She was too lost in the sensation. A pool of hot wet liquid found its way in the middle of her toned thighs. His fingers never stopped doing evil things over her waist. She licked his lips huskily and poured her love into the kiss tasting the flavours of his food, sucking his tongue. He was first surprised, then chuckled in between that savouring moment.

But the enjoyment lasted for a few split seconds when Leevon started to have some flashes. Horrible incidents took over the emotional release of oxytocin and dopamine. He found himself getting stabbed by the sweet angelic girl in his arms right into his heart. Dead. On the spot. Under the effect of her sharp sword.

With a jerk, he left her lips. Shocked. He looked at her again, but the images and flashes kept appearing and he felt himself getting insane. Calista couldn't understand what was bothering him! What suddenly happened for him to retreat with a sudden blow! Her round sharp orbs looked for answers in his brown orbs which looked Vampire black in darkness.

She wanted to ask him, but let the thought slip away finding him getting comfortable after a moment. He looked at her again with lots of emotions, not understanding the meaning of what he had seen and hugged her again caressing her hairs. He had spotted the signs of worry over her forehead. And the last thing he wanted her to feel was getting worried...
