Chapter 176

"I...Hello, Professor. I...I am Scarlet Lozenge, and this is my friend, Evangelica Michelangelo." Scarlet introduced herself and Eva to Dankein Cosh. Eva had been drooling over Dankein and the man saw this through the corner of his eyes but stayed unbothered. Hastily taking his hand that Dankein had forwarded for Scarlet to shake, Eva smiled a huge-wide smile reaching up to her ear lobes. The drool in her eyes was so neatly visible that Scarlet was crushing her teeth out of frustration. Dankein felt a bit baffled and regained his composure. Smiling charmingly, he nodded, "It's very nice to meet you Miss, Evangelica Michelangelo, and Miss. Scarlet...!" He intentionally put forth a questioning expression stressing over Scarlet's name and the girl just smiled sheepishly introducing properly, "Lozenge....Scarlet Lozenge, Professor."

"You can call me Eva, Professor. I know my name is kind of difficult to pronounce giving the fact that I have if the name as my surname. And call her Scarlet. By the way, which subject will you be taking?" Eva initiated a conversation with Dankein and found Scarlet rolling her eyes at her. She shrugged her shoulders and focused on Dankein who looked at the girls replying,

"I am replacing Professor Wemson. He is shifting to another country. For the remaining time of the semester, I will be taking the literature classes." Dankein kept on looking at Scarlet and admiring her sharp features wondering how many centuries have passed since he had such a good look at her beautiful face.

"Oh, that's so good. You know professor, we are also literature students. I think we will be seeing each other quite often from now on." Eva said elbowing Scarlet, and the latter was just narrowing bed gazes at her stupid friend.

"Yes, of course. I will see you both in the class. I must go now. My cat will be hungry. I must feed her before the class." Dankein said trying to excuse himself so as not to sound like a sticking insect around the girls. He needed to maintain his decent-man image. "Oh, you have a cat! Here in the campus!" Eva asked looking at Dankein and then at Scarlet. Both the girls looked even happier just he mentioned his cat. Dankein assumed them to have a soft spot for pets.

"Yes, her name is Alfie. Would you like to meet her? But I must tell you that she isn't very much comfortable around strangers. It may take her some time, you know." He said hoping this Alfie Card would help him get close to Scarlet and fulfill the task for which he was here.

"Oh, sure professor. We would love to." Eva said even on behalf of Scarlet, who wasn't as much excited as Eva was, but wasn't denying either.

"My office is this way." Dankein said moving ahead of the girls showing them the pathway, while all of this was being looked at by someone from a corner who whispered, "Looks like he has some real motives here."

On their way to his office, Scarlet pinched Eva hard on her waist and dragging her distracted attention towards herself,

"Are you stupid? You have a boyfriend already and you are drooling over the professor!" Eva shrugged her shoulder, rolled her eyes replying,

"He is just my boyfriend, who lied to me, and who didn't propose to me yet. So, I can just have a little bit of enjoyment looking at this handsome, sexy professor unless he proposes to me. Besides, I am not going to bang this professor. I am just admiring his beauty." She blinked her eyes in a cute manner blowing a flying kiss at Scarlet.

"I hope Sam to be okay with this flirty nature of yours. Werewolves are ferocious and insanely territorial when it comes to their love interests." Scarlet said to herself.

-WEREALM-

"Alpha, you called for me?" Jack reported immediately leaving the goods he had been told to cross-check before transporting them to the Human World after being called by Emerald.

"Yes. Shift." Emerald ordered looking into some of his office books; some financial ones. Jack heard him but thought that he had heard something wrong. Opening and closing his eyes two times, he leaned a bit forward and asked,

"Alpha?"

"Jack...you heard me. Shift, now." Emerald repeated and this time quite loudly. Not wasting any time, Jack shifted to his wolf form discarded all the clothes he had over the floor and stood there bowing his wolf head. Emerald spared his work a look and nodded his head if he was confirming something. Featuring Jack to shift back, Emerald hauled up from his place and approached him.

He shut the door behind Jack and came closer to him who was done dressing and kept his hand over his shoulder. Pressing a bit harder, Emerald darted his eyes at Jack and looked right into his pupils, "Jack, I want you to go to the Human World and guard your Luna twenty-four-seven. I want her safe at all costs. Not even a single scratch over her body would be tolerated at all. Report me now and then." Jack felt like he was stuck with thousand volts of electricity. He stuttered,

"But Alpha, how can I leave you alone here? Who will handle everything here if I am in the Human World?" He was reluctant.

"You are leaving now. Send Sammer and Max. Max will take your place. And it's an order, Jack. Leave now. Make sure that she doesn't find out about you." Emerald dismissed him and indulged in his office works. Jack left with a simplified face not understanding what happened to Emerald suddenly.

"Alpha is overprotective for Luna. She isn't a normal human. She has powers too. I hope Max doesn't mess up after I am gone." Jack was murmuring all this to himself when he suddenly bumped with Sammer who was coming in his direction. Sam just yelped, "Jack...man, where are you? You almost made me land on the ground. Thank Goddess, I balanced or else..." Jack looked at Sammer who was just being dramatic again. But looking at Jack's worried face, Sam stopped playing and asked,

"Hey, you look anxious. Is everything alright? I think the brother is giving you a hard time..." And he started laughing, but his being paled when he heard Jack saying that Alpha had ordered him to stay in Human World protecting Luna, and Sammer and Max would stay here to help Alpha.

"What? No...You can't go there. I will go there. I will talk to my brother. You stay here, I will go there. I have Eva there. Who do you have? I need to see brother, now." Sammer said and ran towards Emerald's office calling him loudly. Jack sighed,

"No one can change Alpha's decisions, Prince Sam. I hope you understand this soon. I need to pack and leave."

-GREEN GULF OCEAN, MERMAID POINT-

Far away from everything, in the Green Gulf Ocean, some people were talking to each other sitting in a lavish room that looked ancient and had all sorts of water drawings made on the walls. The room was a part of a huge building located underwater. The people attending this meeting looked like some water creatures for they could breathe in water without any difficulties.

They were anxious and waiting for someone when everybody just became silent and an old woman in her 200 or more years age just walked in with her long blue-colored robe swiping over the blue floor. Her feet were producing splashing sounds as she moved the floor that was nothing but water.

Her face was partially covered with the veil and her neck was stuffed with all kinds of ocean things as jewelry. She moved slowly and splashed more and more water. The room that once had huge walls and chairs was now nothing but water. It appeared that water was cast into shapes, chairs, walls. Everything was nothing...but water.

As the woman stepped foot on the first stair of water that lead to a high placed throne, everyone hauled up from their places and bowed,

"Hail Amoha, Hail Amoha, Hail Amoha!" Everybody chanted in unison and the chants stopped as the woman raised one of her hands in mid-air. Surprisingly, the skin of her hand that was wrinkled and dried a moment ago was replaced by orange scales and turned porcelain as if she was a twenty years old girl. She kept on stepping foot over the water stairs and reached the throne.

Sitting over the throne made of water studded with rate jewels and diamonds, she gestured everyone to take their respective spots. Removing her veil, she appeared so beautiful not giving any looks of an old lady. Her skin was so fresh, hydrated, and beautiful that the onlookers gasped. She smiled at everyone in the room,

"It is an honor to have you all here on such short notice. But the moment we have been waiting for such a long time has finally arrived." Everybody went surprised and she heard a lot bit of commotion which she didn't waste any seconds to suppress.

"I know what you are thinking. But this time, things are different. I want some of you to go and live in the Human Residence. Our Queen is there. She is going to need us. We will soon be blessed with her presence. Are you ready?" She asked hauling up. Everyone hauled up and nodded in unison,

"We are ready. Anything for our Queen. Hail Amoha, Hail Amoha, Hail Amoha!"

"Hail the Queen!" The woman said smiling and everyone else joined.
