Anything For You -
Chapter 191
"I think I must gather everything. I wish Valor would have been more reliable." Evanora sighed and looked at those empty pots stacked near the edge of the room. The pots were partially occupied. She approached them slowly and used her magic to lift off the lids covering them all at once. Her eyes traveled at the pots and the fairy dust started shining from all the pots. Evanora snapped her fingers and there appeared a huge bowl with a wide mouth. She made the bowl rest over an elevated pillar. The now went inside the pillar and became a part of it. She went near the bowl and investigated it; her gaze piercing its base. Fetching the dagger kept over the desk beside the Book, Evanora made the dagger float over that empty bowl and started chanting some spells. The dagger started shaking violently and the blood drops smeared over its sharp edge started flowing into the bowl.
It appeared to be dried blood and only some drops, but the empty huge bowl got filled with those drops in some moments and the dagger was as clean as a new one. Slowly, the ziracidium drops fell into the bowl of blood and the red color of blood changed into silver.
Evanora's eyes shone in excitement. That was the beginning. The change in the color of blood indicated that she was going to succeed. All she needed was some ingredients related to Scarlet's past life.
Taking the first pot, Evanora emptied the fairy dust into that bowl and chanted the next spells to notice the change of color and some white angelic shadows appearing and disappearing into the bowl. The fairy dust's golden color got submerged into the silver solution of blood and ziracidium changing into pure white and angelic color with a little red dot in the center.
"If this goes like... I will be done by morning. I need the ingredients, now." Evanora mumbled and got a hold of the second pot. Before she could empty the second pot into that bowl, she noticed a tornado appearing out of it. The little whirlpool emerged out of the blood, all red, smelling like fresh blood.
"Shit!" Evanora cursed and steadied the whirlpool of blood restricting it to the bowl only. Focusing on the little tornado, she called for one of her crystal balls and covered the bowl with it making all the contents trapped inside it.
Moving towards the fire, she sat closer to the burning logs of wood and concentrated on the flames calling them. Soon, the flames started appearing in her hands and her smile widened. She felt proud.
"Good to go." She whispered. Her powers were restored properly and she could now hunt for the missing ingredients for preparing the weapon.
Closing her eyes, Evanora focused into the past and landed straight where Scarlet was living her third life, as a human. Secretly, Evanora moved closer to the sleeping Scarlet and plucked one of her hairs. The which was physically present at two different places, but mentally with the sleeping Scarlet in her third life. Magic. It was her forte.
"Perfect, saying that Evanora secured the hair strands into her hands and shut her eyes. The hair strands disappeared from her hands and landed into the third pot in her room and got covered with the fairy dust.
"Looks like this book is playing God to me," Evanora mumbled and smiled. Her smile reached her eyes and maybe soul. It was one hell of a happy moment for her. The sooner she finished with the weapon, the longer she would live.
"Let's move on to your fourth piece," Evanora said to the sleeping human girl and teleported her non-physical form from there to another time zone. Her physical body was still sitting by the side of burning fire and flames covering her, but her magic was enabling her to channelize the power and her moving form.
"What can I have from here?" Evanora landed in some typical medieval house surrounded by shrubs. She was about to move away when she heard a girl's voice and cornered herself. Darting her eyes at the girl, she found her to be today's Scarlet. She scanned the girl and found her eyes glowing. Realization hit Evanora when she realized that the girl was parented by a werewolf and a human.
The girl had her milk and retired to her bed bidding goodnight to her parents. When she was fast asleep, Evanora slipped into her room and found her deep tired. She read the features of the girl and started looking for something that she could use to prepare her weapon.
"Scent. Yes, her scent." She said to her being and chanted a spell to paralyze the girl who was looking at Evanora horrified. Releasing her lips, Evanora allowed her to speak.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my room? Mom..." Before the girl could shout for any help, Evanora sealed her lips with magic and leaned closer to the girl looking into her eyes,
"I just need your scent, little hybrid wolf. Don't shout, be a good girl." Saying that Evanora cast a spell and fetched a tiny bottle from her dress. The girl was baffled and couldn't understand anything. She let looking at Evanora who sucked all the wolf Scent from her and covered the bottle.
"Good girl. Now sleep well." Evanora touched the girl's cheeks and she dozed off. The which again focused and the tiny bottle got teleported to the fourth pot landing in fairy dust.
"Four done. Now number five." Evanora moved on to the fifth life of Scarlet where she found her as a Queen. Queen Ragnara, the most powerful one. All her powers came from the Ragnara stone that she was born with and the stone was present in her belly button. Evanora quickly chanted a spell and tried to grab the Ragnara stone, but the Queen's eyes caught her red-handed. The witch was thrown away with a loud thud when Ragnara fired a blow.
"You like it the hard way!" Evanora exclaimed and spell-bounded Ragnara. The Queen wasn't able to move and her eyes started glowing purple. The magic barrier that Evanora used to bind Ragnara started getting weak. She needed to hurry.
Grabbing the purple hairs of Queen Ragnara, Evanora looked through her glowing purple eyes and chanted her spell. Her long fingers trailed over Ragnara's belly reaching her belly button. The sharp fingernail pierced through her belly button cutting a piece of the Ragnara stone from inside. The room echoed with Ragnara's painful cries and whimpers.
But Evanora's smile widened. She held that stone fragment and let go of Ragnara. The queen landed over the floor with eyes widened. Evanora fetched the stone and inspected it closely. It disappeared and landed into the fifth pot with fairy dust.
"Do you know why could I overpower you, Queen Ragnara?" Evanora sneered and mocked. She replied her question, "Because I am from the future and we have an old connection from the past and you happened to be something related to both. No offense." She said and landed into the last-second life of Scarlet leaving Queen Ragnara over the floor wondering what had just happened.
"Aha, Vampire! I will take your blood." Evanora said to Calista, who was talking to Leevon under the moon and the man was just ready to pierce her heart. The which smiled sarcastically,
"Once a demon, always a demon. Indeed." The man just slid that dagger he was holding through Calista's heart and the dagger got smeared with her blood. The blood from Calista's heart caught Evanora's attention. She quickly fetched another tiny bottle and cast her last spell. The blood flowing through Calista's body touched the ground painting it red.
Leevon was so shattered in his grief that he didn't notice that the spilled blood started moving and Evanora collected it in her bottle. With soft, warm gaze plastered at dead Calista, Evanora teleported back saying,
"I will see you in next life, Princess."
Opening her eyes in a snap, Evanora struggled for breathing and the flames went off releasing her from the protective shield she had built around her. Looking at her hand, she found the blood bottle, and then the next instant, it landed in the sixth spot. Evanora hauled up from her place and fetched a piece of mermaid skin that Dankein brought her some days ago from the coffin's rear corner and it landed in the last pot, the seventh one.
Pouring herself a glass of red wine, Evanora sipped the liquid and let it seep in while her eyes kept glued to the tornado trapped inside that crystal ball that was starting to have cracks.
Emptying her glass, she threw the glass into the fire and looked out of the window at the rising sun. "Perfect," she said and called for the remaining pots. Taking away the crystal ball, she freed the bowl and watched the tornado grow bigger.
The next moment, Evanora started chanting spells and her lips loved like she was a machine, not stopping for even a single second. With every spell, she emptied the contents of one of the pots into the bowl and the tornado kept changing colors. When the last ingredient; the mermaid skin was downed into the bowl, everything turned into a jelly and then a ball.
Soon, there was a little explosion inside the ball and the ball shattered into a Gazillion of pieces cascading the tiniest fragments into the bowl. Evanora stepped back and the first rays of sun peeked inside the room from the window landing over at the pieces present in that bowl.
The tiny pieces started shining and getting collected only to be taking different shapes.
"Hash... it's done. All I must do is rest now." Evanora murmured and let the process continue its own. She retired to her bedroom for a shower and a nice meal.
