The man thought that his words would rage the witch, but here she was sitting in the same posture, all in her fullest glory, with her eyes still glued to his face. The way she was looking, or staring into his eyes, was making him loose his sanity and proudness. In just another moment, he roared back at her, "What the hell do you want?"

She listened to his loud voice, and scratched her ear showing him that she is not getting affected at all. She wanted to make him furious, and she had successfully done it. He was now glaring at her. She hauled up from her sit and walked closer to him. Clicking her fingers together, she released him from her magical spell and made him stand on his feet.

Going dangerously closer to his standing figure, which was stinking, she whispered besides his ear dominating all his stubbornness,

"Truth."

The man looked at her perplexed, not understanding what she meant. But then she added a few more words to make him aware of her purpose and the reason behind his condition,

"I want truth, and that too.... RIGHT NOW."

She said the last words bit by bit. It was him who was clearly aware of her ways. Had it been someone else, he would have been peed in his pants, merely by her killing aura and daggering eyes.

But the man ahead was also thick-skinned. How he would easily let her overpower him. This would be an insult to him, and his m*****d. He was not going to accept his defeat second time, at least not in her hands. And the next moment, a loud laughing voice echoed in the whole house, making Evanora look at the man dangerously,

"Pfft... HAHAHAHAHAHAH... HAHAHAH.. What do you take me for? Do you think that I will spill all the beans so easily, just because you were trying to scare me?! Woman, I am no longer that helpless snake-charmer now. I have powers too. Don't try to mess with me." "Oh... is that so!"

Saying these words, Evanora strangled him, and he started to gasp for breath. She didn't even touch him and was standing away from him, at least ten steps away, but still... how dare he mock at her! This raged her. His behavior towards her... it raged her beyond explanation. All she wanted to do now was ... kill him. And regarding the truth, she will find after his death. If he won't tell her the purpose of sneaking into her village even after getting banned and forbidden, his poor and caged soul would definitely do so. While he was choking on his own breaths, gasping for air, loosing his sanity bit by bit, Evanora continued her sweet t*****e, warning him for the last time,

"Don't ... just don't try to test my patience. If you want to live, just tell me the truth. I may change my mind. And if you didn't..... well.... Your life never mattered to me." Saying that she increased the force and now his eyes balls were almost popping out. He was holding his neck as if trying to push someone who was strangulating him. In the haste, he nodded his head looking at Evanora. She understood and let go of him. He coughed violently and took mouthful of so many breaths trying to stabilize his breathing. The choking was so painful as if someone had ripped out his lungs from his body.

After a moment, he looked at her with red eyes, which were because of lack of oxygen, and surrendered knowing pretty well that he still was a week-long in front of her ages old magic.

Moving a few steps towards the pot in which he used to keep drinking water, he had a bowl from the side and filled it with water, and gulped all the liquid in one go, spilling more of it over his already dirty and sweat drenched clothes. With his back facing towards her, he started to narrate everything slowly.

"I ... I never wanted to...... (cough cough).... Sneak into that village of yours. But... I was waiting for someone for my whole life, and ... and she ... appeared in your village. So, ... so to confirm her identity, I had to sneak in. Because I knew that I was banned. Since, she disguised herself pretty well, so I had to use magic to know her true form. It was my thing."

He turned around and continued glaring at her,

"But you... you can't rest in peace if you don't meddle in my business. It has nothing to do with you, Witch. Now, I told you everything, so.. just leave from here, and don't cross path with me."

He briefed everything. But Evanora could sense that this wasn't the whole truth. And when he mentioned about waiting for someone, she instantly remembered the past incident, when he got banned from practicing magic.

Actually, there was a time when this snake-charmer also used to live in SARAINE VILLAGE. He had no family there. But still people of that village respected him. He helped them getting rid of deadly and poisonous animals, mainly snakes. But slowly, he started to steal the snakes and then started to practice black magic using them. He killed those animals mercilessly and then spilled their fresh warm blood in the burning fire.

He got powers. But he wasn't satisfied with that and longed for more and more. His greed overpowered him, and he abducted a human child to experiment his black magic. He had been trying to kill the child, but was caught red-handed by EVANORA who was passing by his house, after seeing one of her old friends and happened to hear the sobs of a child.

He was holding his neck as if trying to push someone who was strangulating him. In the haste, he nodded his head looking at Evanora. She understood and let go of him. He coughed violently and took mouthful of so many breaths trying to stabilize his breathing. The choking was so painful as if someone had ripped out his lungs from his body.

She was on time and successfully saved the child. Afterwards, he was declared as a criminal and banned from entering the village and practicing magic. But he continued to plead that he didn't want to hurt the child.

She remembered all this and asked him,

"Why did you abduct that child, if you weren't going to kill him? What did you want exactly?"

The man turned around to face her boldly and replied with honesty,

"I never had any intentions to kill that child. I was just experimenting. I had heard about the snake-humans. They are half human and half-snakes. They can shift their forms whenever they want. But what was more magical was that, I heard that, they have a queen, a virgin girl. If, I got my hands on that queen, I will sacrifice her, and will get all her powers. My powers mixed with those divine powers would make me invincible. And that child.... He wasn't a human child. He was a Shifter. I saw him shifting from his snake-self to human form.

But you ....( He came dangerously close to Evanora and roared again pointing his finger towards her).... You stupid witch, ruined everything."

He then again turned around and looked towards the little bowl of blood, that had been glowing green in color, and was kept alongside the burning fire in the other corner of his house, and said with eyes glowing differently, filled with greed for power, "But now, this time... Hahahaha... this time, Evanora,.... This time, I have got a big fish. And I will not let go off her. I will capture that girl, and then sacrifice her. Her all powers will be mine." He said all those words to her pacing here and there like a madman. "Who is She?" Evanora asked him. In the moment of heat, he went down with the flow and said,

"She is the queen. I got the queen. Did you hear me witch! I got their queen. She is the Virgin queen. And the most interesting part is that, she herself isn't aware of her own status. Hahahaha... she... she thinks herself as a mere shifter. Poor girl! I feel bad for her already. Hahahahaha.... I feel really bad for her."

He was still continuously laughing like a maniac, being rolling in his own imaginary world. This was the time when he got on Evanora's nerves. She instantly caged him in an invisible glass room, making him hit his head abruptly with the glass walls. He realised that he had been tricked. Before he could yell and curse her again, she demanded with the same expression that he held a second ago, eyes filled with greed for power, more and more power, "GIVE ME HER NAME, NOW!"
