Anything For You
Chapter 95

"GIVE ME HER NAME, NOW!!" Evanora almost asked the man ahead with greed to the fullest in her eyes. He narrowed his eyes, sensing the hidden feelings that were threatening to befall from her eyes and the muscles of her face were twitching, waiting for him to answer her as soon as possible. But the man, the snake-charmer wanted to confirm his thoughts, and hence, he choose to stay put and shut his mouth intentionally. But the more he was taking time, the more Evanora was getting restless. She wasn't able to wait further and questioned threatening him with her stares, which were now changing expressions bit by bit with every passing second,

"GIVE ME THE NAME NOW, IF YOU STILL WANT TO SURVIVE. If you won't, then you know my ways. I am warning you for the last time. Don't make the repeat myself again and again."

Saying that she stepped aside, ready to rip his head from his body, if he dared to mess with her. But the other moment, when the man mumbled a name, her whole body froze. "ESTELLA. She is Estella, that....that girl who came here with those group of men."

"WHAT?" Evanora was totally shocked listening to his words. If what he said was true, then... how come she wasn't able to notice that since so long! That girl was there in the village since two-three days, and Evanora, the most powerful witch wasn't able to notice her true identity.

"This girl had really hidden herself." She mumbled to herself and released her magical grip over the man. He breathed in relief. Before he could say anything to her, about not meddling with him or not getting in his ways, Evanora had already reached by the door and was just about to exit, when she said almost threateningly,

"I didn't meddle in your business. But if it's something about power, then you also know very well that who is the one deserving. I hope to never cross my ways with you again." Saying that she exited the door and her slender figure disappeared from his sight soon. He wasn't able to believe himself and his eyes regarding to what had just happened. He rubbed his eyes still standing glued to the same spot and looked at the door again, which was ajar by now and Evanora was nowhere to found.

'Did she really leave him as such, without harming him?' This thought crossed his mind and an evil smiled got plastered over his thick lips, showing off his dirty teeth, as if he never had cleaned himself since ages.

"Well now, when the witch is no longer here to Pester me, I should continue. I have to catch that girl today." He said to himself rubbing his palms together and sat over the floor to continue his magic. But the other second, yelled on the top of his lungs, cursing Evanora, because he wasn't able to do any magic,

"YOU, WITCH... YOU TOOK THE LAST SHREDS OF MAGIC FROM ME. Aahhhhhhh.... I... I will never spare you for this, Evanora... I will come after you. IF NOT IN THIS LIFE, THEN IN OTHER AND MANY MOREEEE......." He curled himself into a ball and hugged his knees tightly to his chest, tears rolling down his aged eyes. His all dreams were shattered by that witch. He got up again, ruined everything in the house, sat in the middle and then set the house on fire, getting burnt in that himself before pledging and saying,

"I PROMISE... TO COME BACK AND TAKE WHAT IS MINE, EVANORA. YOU... YOU.... WILL NEVER GET WHAT YOU DESIRE."

Soon everything in the house turned to ashes erasing all the evidences of his existence. It wasn't a perfect ending for a man like him, who practiced magic nearly half of his life, and now magic was the reason for his demise. But when the time comes, nobody can prevent death. It's fate, which makes everyone bow down helplessly.

Here, one chapter ended. Evanora clearly knew that Snake-charmer would never take her pity and would eventually end his life. Even if he continued to live on, he wouldn't be able to do any harm to her, since she had already taken all his magic the moment she looked into his eyes. Yes, she was that powerful. A witch is a witch after all.

She fastened her pace and her steps became even more louder with each movement over the streets. Soon, she was standing at the end of that village. Having a long sigh, she exhaled a mouthful of air, breathing longly as if she had taken care of an ages old burden, and that too without letting anybody know about it. Well, correctly speaking, she really did.

Bidding her farewell to the village, she turned towards the other direction, and soon her figure faded into thin air leaving nothing but so many black sparrows making noises. To a normal person, those sparrows were just birds, but they were exactly Evanora. She had used magic to transform herself and all the sparrows travelled towards the direction of SARAINE VILLAGE, flapping their wings even more rapidly as the time to meet Estella and Valor was approaching, and now after learning the truth, Evanora didn't want to miss any chance of getting that girl in her hold.

Reaching near her residency, the sparrows concentrated in the terrace and soon merged into one another, leaving only EVANORA's slender figure wrapped inside the same black gown that she put on while confronting Snake-charmer. The time was approaching and it was only some minutes, before the concerned guests would be arriving there.

She hastily picked the pace and changed her clothes, did some make over and was now ready to present an all-good, elegant, and utterly helpful self of her being. Looking over herself in the mirror, she smiled satisfactorily and whispered,

"YOU, WITCH... YOU TOOK THE LAST SHREDS OF MAGIC FROM ME. Aahhhhhhh.... I... I will never spare you for this, Evanora... I will come after you. IF NOT IN THIS LIFE, THEN IN OTHER AND MANY MOREEEE........" He curled himself into a ball and hugged his knees tightly to his chest, tears rolling down his aged eyes. His all dreams were shattered by that witch. He got up again, ruined everything in the house, sat in the middle and then set the house on fire, getting burnt in that himself before pledging and saying, "Hmm... now I look the one, whom everybody knows here. After all first impression is the last impression."

As she was busy beholding herself, and praising her beauty in the mirror, her ears caught the faint sounds coming from outside. She was way too excited, but maintained herself and quickly approached the nearby window to get a good sight of people outside. Her faint smile grew wider, almost reaching the corners of her ears, witnessing the persons she had been waiting since a long time by now, who were busy chit-chatting amongst each other.

"What do you think, she will really help us out? I mean, I am just a bit scared after what happened with Egon. You have seen him, he ... he had shut himself from the whole world and is not even talking to Akhim. I wonder, what he had gone through back in here." Estella said sighing heavily. Although she wanted the truth to be unfolded in front of her, yet she was scared. She definitely didn't want to end up like Egon, in that pathetic state.

"I know, but truth is not always the sweetest. It sometimes is the bitter one, and we have no option but to accept it, which is most hurting thing. So, you should not be afraid, because no matter what, but still it's all in the past now." Valor said trying to relax her. He himself was afraid and scared, but still managed to pull out some encouraging words to his friend, whose true identity was known to him by now.

Here, Evanora was watching everything standing near the window. Since, she was a witch, so she could even hear them both. Chuckling slightly, she whispered to herself in a way as if she was trying to tell them both,

"Don't worry. Until I get what I desire, I will try my best not to scare you off." And got ready to welcome them both with all the etiquettes, she had in her sleeves. -DESTINY LAND-

"Sister, this witch is now getting on my nerves. I want to pluck her eyes and kill her for all the deeds she had done to these poor souls. She... she even dared to meddle in your work. And how... how are you still so calm?" Choice was way too raged and pacing here and there in the room, while Destiny was still so composed and busy doing her things reminiscing the past events. Witnessing her little devil's angry face, she chuckled and said,

"What's bound to happen, will happen. And we are here to help people decide their life paths, to help them walk those paths, not to punish anyone for meddling. If she meddled, it was her fate. Now relax and calm down, because you are looking like a little Kangaroo." Choice, "Sister..!!"(In irritated tone)
