YUNIFER'S POV

I couldn't help but think about how poisonous their heart of Samantha is. Is she that eager to get rid of me because I possess a threat to her being the triplets Luna? She shouldn't have thought that way since the triplets would choose her in the end as their Luna. She shouldn't have spent so much effort to get rid of me since I would choose to leave and never come back if the triplets don't want me anymore.

After all, I am not that desperate enough to make someone stay.

My eyes lit up right after seeing Asher who was reading a book while waiting for me to come back

home. I couldn't help but feel warm all over upon seeing my brother whose brows were furrowed and was seriously reading a book.

I couldn't help but chuckle as I approached him. "I'm home. What are you reading?"

As soon as he heard my voice, he put down his book and raised his head looking at me with sparkling eyes.

"Welcome back! I missed you!" He happily said as he ran over to me and hugged me tightly.

I couldn't help but chuckle upon seeing his childish demeanor. However, when I glanced at the book that he was reading, I couldn't help but facepalm. [Why is being a Loner Important?]

That was the title of the book. I suddenly doubt where he found these kinds of books but in the end, I chose to remain silent and just let out a sigh.

"I missed you too, Asher. So, how was your day?" I asked while looking at him with a smile as we both went inside the room.

Asher's face became sorrowful, making me raise my brows as I looked at him with worry, thinking that he might encounter some problems that he can't solve or much worse that he was bullied in his school.

Just when I was about to ask him what he was worrying about when I heard him speak.

"The school was fine but I can't understand why the teacher has to let us all participate in the camping which will be held at the mountain! I already told my teacher that I don't want to participate in the camping and she said I have to give a valid reason and I gave her a reason but in the end, she declined my reason!" He said with a wrongful expression while pursing his lips.

Seeing him aggrieved, I couldn't help but chuckle upon seeing how cute he was when he kept complaining about how his teacher declined his request.

"What did your reason your teacher led for her to decline your requests?" I softly asked as I ran my finger softly and smoothly through his hair.

Asher clicked his tongue as he continued complaining. "I just told my teacher honestly that it was exhausting for me to communicate and deal with my classmates! I kept telling her that I don't want to participate because it was boring and tiring but she insisted that I should participate since this trip, the camping was about building relationships with my classmates! I don't want to build relationships with my classmates!"

Hearing this, I laughed. I patted his head and softly reminded him. "Your opinion was of course valid but what your teacher said was also true. You should start interacting with your classmates and besides, I would be happy if I would see you make friends with others rather than being alone. You should give others a chance to others to be friends with you, okay?"

When Asher heard this, he pursed his lips first but then in the end, he raised his head and looked at me with seriousness in his eyes.

He firmly nodded his head. "Fine, I will let others be my friend and I will also interact with myself if that's what you want, sister. Anyway, I also think that it's not that bad interacting with others."

I couldn't help but smile at his words. Maybe it was because of trauma that's why there are times that he seldom communicates with others other than me. He hardly interacts with others for fear that something would go wrong. He always has trust issues when it comes to others especially when he was a child, our mother paid someone's mother to use their child to be friends with Asher and if they became close, Asher would be able to tell what he was thinking or wanted to say that he couldn't say to his mother. It was just like planting a spy on Asher and when I got to know about it, I was furious that I couldn't stop myself from talking back with my mother which ended in her beating me up for talking back at her and I recover for a week because of the internal injuries that I suffered.

I thought that it would be best if my brother won't know about it so I decided to keep it a secret lest it won't damage his heart and I was just planning to make up lies that his friend won't be able to see him again nor play with him again because they moved to another country.

However, I never thought that he already knew about it and there was no need for me to make a white lie for him.

He learned the truth only after hearing my dispute with my mother and he even saw the way our mother beat me up. He kept crying about that and kept on apologizing because he only watched the scene and didn't even save me.

Recalling those memories, I couldn't help but let out a sigh. Because of what our mother did, Asher suffered a lot from traumas.

But it was a good thing that he's taking a good step in his life to get out from the shadows of his traumas and I will be with him and continue to protect him away from dangers.

I would also be happy if he could let go of the past and stop letting himself be trapped by his past. Instead, he would start moving forward and continue looking for the vitality of life.

But anyway, there's no need to rush. They have a lot of time and besides, it's not like our mother would find us and take back our freedom. They all have the time so there's no need for us to rush.

I looked at Asher with a smile on my face as I fiddled with his hair. "En, that's right. My brother is kind and brave!"

Hearing this, he perked his ears and looked at me with sparkling eyes. "I think so too! However, you would be alone if I would leave to attend the camp which will be held tomorrow." Thinking about the latter, he pursed his lips and made an aggrieved face. I let out a chuckle as I patted his head. "Don't worry, I am very strong so it doesn't matter. Besides, you only have to stay for two days along with your classmates in the camp. Other than missing you, I will be fine alone."

"What about the three Alphas?" He suddenly asked while looking at me with inquiring eyes.

Hearing this, I flinched and there was sadness flashed in my eyes but was instantly suppressed.

I smiled at him as I shook my head. "They are busy for now but they will visit me in the future so you don't have to worry about me being alone."

Asher stared at me with those serious eyes before he moved and hugged my arms.

"En, I understand. My sister is very strong. She is strongest than anyone in this world." He said with solemnity.

"So exaggerate?" I said and let out a chuckle.

"Of course, otherwise I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for you." He said with a smile.

After I sent my brother to his school along with his daily necessities and first aid kits since they will go on a camp today, I went back to school. But before I sent Asher to his teacher, I kept reminding him to stay close to his teachers or classmates and not to run wild alone. I kept on reminding him not to go with a stranger if they would ask him to do so.

It took me half an hour just to remind him about the don'ts and do and of course even though Asher had already known about what he should do but he still listen to me intently.

After that, I went to school with a relief of mind and silently prayed for Asher's safety.

Honestly, these days I just go with the flow. I don't know why but I felt like I'm slowly losing my vitality as if I were a plant. I was honestly too tired and wanted to stay in my room alone and sleep for a week but I couldn't do that because I have to catch up with the lessons especially since our second-semester tests are coming up.

When I arrived at the class, my eyes glanced around the last seat and were relieved to see Kale. I looked at him from up to down and upon not seeing bruises or marks from violence, I let out a sigh of relief.

After all, the last time that I saw him was that he was dragged by an Alpha doctor, and who knows what that Alpha would do to the omega Kale who is weaker than him. Besides, that Alpha was slightly dangerous and he looked like some kind who has an authority that can't be easily messed up.

More like he should be an Alpha of a pack.

I disregard their gaze on Samantha and instead, I sat next to Kale who seemed to be in a daze.

When he felt my presence, he snapped back to reality and greeted me.

"You seemed to be in a low vitality." He softly said while looking at me.

I let out a chuckle and retorted. "So were you."

He was silent which made me laugh.

"So did that Alpha doctor did something to you?" I asked with inquiring eyes.

I saw him flinch as his whole body became tense. As expected, that Alpha doctor did something to Kale, otherwise, his reaction wouldn't be this way. That doctor seemed to harbor ill intent towards Kale. I'm sure he's up no good.

I looked at Kale, waiting for his answer and it was up to him whether he would choose to tell me or not.

"A-Actually he didn't do any bad against me," Kale spoke.

Although he stammered, his eyes were sincere.

"Really?" However, I doubt it especially since the aura of that Alpha doctor was dangerous.

Kale nodded. "Havoc didn't hurt me. He just looked dangerous but he didn't treat me badly."

Although I have some doubts, I still nodded my head and replied with relief. "Then that's good to know that he didn't hurt you. But may I ask who is he? Is he your brother?"

Kale shook his head. "He isn't my brother. He is the Alpha of the Wood scent Pack."

I wasn't surprised to get to know that Havoc is an Alpha of a pack but what I'm curious about was their relationship. If they aren't brothers, are they friends? But given with the Alpha doctor treated him isn't the treatment of a friend but kinda different.

Just when I was about to ask him but I saw his cheeks reddened and his eyes were wandered around slightly shaking, appearing to be nervous and ashamed if I would find out something.

In the end, I just swallowed my curiosity and changed the topic. It wasn't good to pry further into someone else's business.

Suddenly, I sensed Kale slightly leaning forward towards me and whispering.

"I heard that the Alpha Triplets were fighting and they were on the rooftop right now. I don't know what they were fighting about but I heard from someone that they might throw each other from the rooftop." Kale said and he deliberately minimized his voice for fear of being heard by others.

Hearing this, my eyes widened as I looked at him with disbelief. "What?!"
