Bedmates Soulmates -
CHAPTER 208
Does Kira Have A Brother?
Kira rubbed her eyes.
She knew she was fully awake and lucid, but she still couldn't believe what she was seeing. Sensing movement, the man turned his head.
Their eyes locked, unleashing memories of their shared past.
Kira forgot to breathe.
He started walking towards her.
A little uncertain at first.
Then he picked up his pace.
He recognised her.
Kira wanted to run, but her legs had taken root in the floor.
She couldn't move a muscle.
It was a short hallway, but he was out of breath by the time he stopped in front of her, panting. 'K...Kira?'
Gideon called out her name softly, scared that she might vanish like a mirage if he raised his voice.
Kira felt something cold on her cheeks.
Her hand went to her face mechanically.
Tears.
She hadn't realised she was crying.
Just one word in his familiar voice was enough to send her over the edge.
It was really him.
Gideon.
Was he the man who had visited her father in the past two days?
How did he know to come here?
What was he doing here?
Kira tried to reboot her brain.

'Kira!'
Gideon pulled her into his arms for a fierce hug.
This was his fourth visit in two days.
It had finally paid off.
He was growing impatient, thinking Liam had pulled a fast one on him.
But he'd checked; the man lying in the room was Leland Hewitt, a man who had been like a
father to him.
He was cooling his heels in the hallway, hoping for a miracle.
Then something told him to look up.
He raised his head, turned to the right, and there she was, as large as life.
When he left her, she was eighteen, on the cusp of womanhood.
Now she'd blossomed into a beautiful, breathtaking woman.
Gideon tightened his grip.
He was almost crushing her.
He had to use that much force to confirm he was holding on to an actual person in flesh and blood and not an illusion.
Kira was getting light-headed from lack of oxygen.
Her brain was still blank.
At the other end of the hallway, two nurses stopped at the sight of the two figures locked in an embrace.
They pointed and whispered.
One of them recognised Kira.
Kira saw the look on the nurse's face and came to her senses.
She shoved Gideon:

'Boss, here's the profile on Revency.'
Kai gathered the intel overnight.
He stood in the president's office, stifling a yawn
Austyn had roused him out of bed at 2 am and given him the name of the company.
