Betrayed By Everyone, Loved By Four
Betrayed By Everyone Loved by Four Chapter 93

"How did it go?" Leo asked as soon as I got in the car.

I blew out a breath, and rested my head back.

"It was so nerve wracking. When we got out of the elevator, James was glaring at me. For a total of two seconds before Derek stood in front of me." I said.

I whipped my head up to look at Milo.

"You and your father have the same physique." I told him.

Milo raised a brow at me.

"Are you trying to say that you checked out my dad?" He asked amused.

"What? No, of course not.... Well, maybe a little." I admitted.

"Back to the point princess." Leo said.

"Right. Well, I tried not to look at him after that. Updated by FindNovel.net. We walked in. James lawyer, Mr. Maroney, tried to get them to revise the restraining order so that James could come back to school." I said. "Should have seen Adam shut that down." I said with

a snort.

"Johnathon Maroney is James lawyer?" Leo asked me.

I shrugged. "I... guess so?" I said.

They all shared a look.

"What? Is that bad?" I asked them.

"He just has a lot of beef with our dads." Atlas told me.

"You all just moved here a few months ago." I said.

"Doesn't matter with lawyers." Milo said.

"Ooookay?" I asked hoping they will elaborate.

"We just heard that he is a shark, that's all. Nothing our dads can't handle princess." Leo said.

"Okay." I mumbled.

"What else happened?" Oliver asked.

"Well, the Judge said no to revising the restraining order. Thanks to Lila recording James that first day he came back to school." I said.

"We should take her out for ice cream for that." Atlas said.

I turned my head to him.

"Ya know what, we should." I agreed.

"Back to the point princess." Leo said annoyed.

"Well, not much happened after that. The Judge gave us a trail date for March 20th, then she dismissed us." I said.

"That's less than three weeks away." Oliver said.

"Yeah, it's four day's after Leo, and Lila's birthday." I said.

"What judge did you get?" Leo asked.

"Judge Lockern. Your dad said that's a good thing." I said.

"Oh, that's a very good thing." Oliver said with a cocky smile.

That is not something I see on Oliver much.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Jodi Lockern has become a good friend of my parents. A case that my dad handled when we first moved out here. They had dinner together, then Dad brought Jodi home so that Mom could cook for her. Mom and Jodi love each other now." He told me. "Oh." Was all I said. "Judge Lockern can't be biased Oliver." Leo said.

"I know, but it makes me happy that someone who won't be biased will be handling our girlfriends case." Oliver replied.

Leo sighed. "What did my dad say after that?" He asked.

"Just that we need to meet up more to go over questions, and such." I said.

"Sounds like it's over for the day Leo." Milo said.

"Please let it be over." I groaned.

Atlas chuckled, and slung his arm around my shoulders. He kissed the side of my head, and I leaned into him. Then Oliver placed his hand on my knee.

"Alright, fine." Leo said as he started the car up. "We have one stop to make before going to your house for dinner princess." He said.

I furrowed my brow.

"Where?"

***************

I should have known that our stop would be somewhere with food. Leo stopped at the bakery that I love. Told us to wait here as he went inside. Five minutes later he came out with a huge box of cookies. All my favorites, and even a cheesecake.

Then we drove to my house. I snacked on my cookies happily. Pretty sure this classifies me as spoiled rotten at this point.

By the time we made it to my driveway... all of my boyfriends lost their confidence.

"Why are all of you so nervous?" I asked with a laugh. "We all do the cook out things, and sit with each other during Atlas, and Caleb's games." I said.

"Yeah, that was before your parents knew that we've been defiling their daughter." Milo said.

I snorted. "It's not like I gave them details daddy." I teased.

Milo whipped his head around to face me.

"Don't call me that during dinner." He said.

I bursted out in laughter.

"I mean it Millie. It would be extremely uncomfortable if you said 'pass the salt please daddy', "Milo mocked in a high pitch tone, "and we both reached for it at the same time." He said.

At that, Oliver and Atlas joined in on my laughter. Leo just gave Milo an incredulous look. Oh, this is too great.

"This isn't some face book meme Milo." Leo told him.

"Hey! They had to start from somewhere." Milo defended himself.

Leo laughed at that.

"Oh, this is just too rich." I said as I wiped tears from my eyes.

"You guys had a whole talk with my dad already, what more can he do? And my mom loves all of you. She just wants to get to know you more." I said.

Then I turned my eyes on Leo.

"You have the hardest shell to crack babe. I'm gonna need you to loosen up a bit for this." I told him.

Leo turned his eyes to give me a skeptical look.

"Please. I know it is not your strong suit, but my mom really just wants to get to know you all. She already has favorites, and you are the least right now. All because you don't open up." I said, and then booped his nose. "Your mom really has favoirtes?" Atlas asked.

I nodded as I sat back in the seat.

"Well, she said that Oliver is her favorite, but didn't like, list you all off, or anything. Just that Leo is too quiet so she doesn't have an opinion of him." I told them.

"I'm her favorite?" Oliver asked with a wide smile.

I turned to grab his face.

"You sure are schnoogems." I teased. "She said that you are so polite, and very sweet. And I agree with her." I said.

"Is schnoogems gonna be my nickname now?" Oliver asked me.

I giggled. "Possibly." I said.

"I think that's very fitting." Leo commented.

"Better than boo bear, that's for sure." Oliver said.

The rest of us snorted.

"Okay, really though. Are you guys ready?" I asked.

All of them nodded, and we all got out of the car. I walked ahead of them to my door. When I turned around I couldn't help but laugh at their nervous faces.

I rolled my eyes, and opened the door.

"Mom, Dad! We're here!" I called out as I kicked my shoes off.

"In the kitchen honey!" Mom called back.

I walked around the corner, and into the kitchen. I can feel the guys follow right behind me. Nerves are just rolling off of them.

Mom is at the stove stirring something. When we entered she turned around to smile at all of us. I returned her smile instantly. "Welcome, welcome. Have a seat, make yourselves comfortable." She told them.

I turned to see all of them look around uncomfortably. I had to place my hand over my mouth to hide my laughter. This is too fun.

"Sit down you goons." I told them. "You guys want a soda?" I asked.

They all awkwardly took seats at our table. I went to grab them each a soda out of the fridge. Mom gave me a wink right before I closed the door. I set all the drinks on the table, but all of my guys still look uncomfortable. "You guys are acting so weird." I said.

"I agree. It's not like we all haven't sat down to have meal together before." Mom said.

"This is different though, isn't it boys?" Dad asked from behind us.

I rolled my eyes.

"Dad." I whined.

"David, you promised to behave yourself." Mom scolded him.

"Yeah Dad." I chimed in.

Dad narrowed his eyes at me.

"I mean, please Dad. Come on. This is important to me." I said with big puppy dog eyes.

Dad's face softened. He turned to the table, and took his seat at the head. I took the seat to his right, with Milo on the other side of me. Mom set out the food, and told us to help ourselves. I, of course, went first.

"So," Mom started. "Are all of you going to take over for your fathers after school?" She asked.

Leo cleared his throat. "I plan to, but I am the only one." He said.

"Oh?" Mom said. "What do the rest of you want to do then?" She asked.

"I hope you don't plan to live off of my daughter." Dad said.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"I acutally plan to follow in my mothers footsteps." Milo said.

"Oh, a doctor. How nice." Mom said.

"I'm going to college for software engineering." Oliver said.

"Wow, that sounds interesting." Mom said.

"Sounds tough." Dad said.

"Yeah well, Oliver is very smart. Maybe even smarter than me." I said.

Dad scoffed. I frowned at him.

"I'm just smarter in calculus Mil, you got me beat in every other subject." Oliver said.

"Especially Bio." Atlas mumbled.

"Well, what about you Atlas?" Mom asked.

Oh no. I should have told Atlas to expect this. The rest of us have a plan. We know what we are doing after highschool. Atlas is still figuring it out. I don't think that he wants to go to school anymore, or do sports. I wonder if he's thought about culinary school. "Uhm, well, I haven't figured that out yet." He said shyly.

Oh, my teddy bear.

"So, you do plan to live off of my daughter." Dad accused.

"No dad, he plans to live off the rest of our boyfriends. Duh." I said.

Dad snapped his head to me.

"Okay you two." Mom cut off our little tiff before it even began.

"Atlas, it's alright to not know yet. Your mother didn't know either." Mom said.

Atlas smiled. "Yeah, she told me that she worked odd jobs until she was in her mid 20s. That's when she realized her passion." He said.

Mom smiled back at him. "As long as you are making money, and happy, you should be able to take all the time you need." She said. "Thank you Mrs. Holmebrooke." Atlas said.

"Oh please, call me Betty." Mom said.

"Atlas is a really good cook. I bet he would do great in culinary school." I said.

Atlas smiled at me. "I'm not that good." He said.

I scoffed.

"No, Millie is right. You are a phenomenal chef." Oliver agreed.

"You could be the next Gordan Ramsey." Milo teased.

"Ugh, learn how to bake too so I can have all the sweats I want." I said.

Atlas chuckled. "I've been told I make some mean brownies." He said.

My eyes snapped to his. There is a mischievious glint in my teddy bear's eyes. I smiled at him as I took a drink of my water.

"Oh, I would love to try them some time." Mom said.

I choked on my water.

"Forget how to drink Millie?" Leo teased.

I flipped him off making Dad laugh.

"Millie." Mom scolded.

"I'll bake you some Betty. I'd love to see what you think of them." Atlas said.

"Oh, I would love that." Mom said.

The rest of dinner went like this. Mom asking questions to make the conversation keep going. Dad would grumble here and there. Eventually, we all settled into comfortable conversation. Each of my boyfriends were polite, and kind. It made my heart swell. Family dinner, is a success.
