Chapter 616 The Last Fight

It felt as if the sky was collapsing and the world was coming to an end. An ear-splitting, loud noise rang out and endless airwaves began spreading around instantly after the collision. He could already picture Ricky dying. Tobias was the future leader of his tribe and all his prayers involved him defeating Ricky.

"How is that possible! How could this happen?” Duncan and the other men of his tribe, all bellowed incredulously looking at the scene in front of them. They couldn't fathom anything as they had always believed Tobias to be invincible.

“Ricky, how can you break out such formidable power?

You are really an enigmatic warrior with endless aces up your sleeve, ' Terrence thought to himself. He was well aware that if he had to go against Tobias, he would most likely be killed, irrespective of how much more knowledgeable he had about the Killing Swordsmanship.

'Unconsciously, your power seems to have completely surpassed mine. Perhaps, your force has always been stronger than mine, * Terrence concluded in his mind.

“Although his attacks were very deadly, fortunately I haven't suffered any great damage. Obviously, I underestimated the power of Tobias’ Golden Flame Mutant earlier, ' Ricky thought to himself as he felt the sharp pain running all over his body.

In this collision, Ricky realized how powerful the Trial Golden Flame was. If he didn't have the protection of the first level of Ultimate Golden Body, he could have been severely injured.

"Why? Why are you still not dead?" Tobias screamed hysterically, looking at Ricky with a ferocious gaze.

The Trial Golden Flame skill he just launched consumed much of the original energy of his Golden Flame mutant. But to his misfortune, it wasn't enough to kill Ricky. He was also severely damaged by Ricky's counterattack. Arrogant as he was, he just couldn't accept this horrible result.

"How can I die before you, Tobias? You're still alive," Ricky said, grinning.

As soon as Ricky stopped talking, a deep and abrupt roar exploded from Tobias. Even in that poor injured state, Tobias managed to break out his strong momentum again

It came from the Golden Holy Fire which was burning furiously all over his body.

"Is he still burning the original energy of his Golden Flame Mutant?" Ricky asked himself, watching the abrupt scene.

Any mutant's power had a source, just as Ricky's Golden Body had its own source. The only difference was that the former's power source was born in the mutant itself, while Ricky's needed to be gathered.

Burning the original energy of a mutant would naturally make a warrior's power more formidable, but at the cost of severely detrimental after-effects. After burning the mutant's original energy, the power and potential of the mutant would be considerably low.

It was similar to the decline of a warrior's talent. Unless there was an extraordinary chance for him to recover from such a loss, it was impossible to have his original talent.

"Are you so desperate? You already gave your best and last shot. So, you've left me with no choice but to do the same thing,” Ricky said in a deep husky voice.

"Duncan, I command you to kill the remaining enemies! Now!" Tobias snarled furiously while the original energy of his mutant was burning.

"Alright, young master!”

Duncan and his other two companions, obeying the order, roared and transformed themselves into their beast bodies. Instantly, three huge golden rhinos like three small mountains appeared. They stomped their hard limbs and dashed towards Terrence and Soar with destructive intent.

In that moment, they would not reserve any power. Whether they would live or die now depended entirely on this last battle.

"Soar, I will deal with Duncan. You and Madeline handle the remaining enemies. Let's see who kills a golden rhino first,” Terrence yelled out with great passion.

He transformed himself into a Black Peafowl. Swaying his black giant wings, he rushed towards Duncan.

"Ha-ha, okay! Maybe after the end of the battle, we can have a roasted rhino celebration!" Soar also joined in and transformed himself into his own beast body, sprinting towards the enemies.

"You all are seeking death, I feel!" Duncan hissed ferociously.

Boom! The two sides collided and attacked each other desperately. Both parties knew that their battle would also determine the fighting result between Ricky and Tobias. Since both Ricky and Tobias were now severely injured, they also needed to end their battle soon in order to offer timely help.

Roar! Just then, a loud scream was let out by Tobias’ beast body. In order to activate his most powerful strength, he also transformed himself into his beast body. Almost instantly, his momentum became even stronger than his peak as a human.
