Chapter 617 Kill Them All

"Go to hell!" Tobias yelled, determined to take Ricky down.

The burning of his mutant's origin seemed to have evacuated his mind of reason. In his madness, there was but one thing in his mind—xkill Ricky at all costs.

"Show me what you got. You're not going to let me down, are you?" Ricky yelled back as he turned his palm up and summoned the Iron Destroyer. His fighting spirit was at its peak, too.

Surges of golden and purple energy emanated from Ricky's body and enveloped his sword. It was the galaxy power. Within seconds, Ricky's sword glowed with a magnificent but terrifying hue of golden and purple.

The galaxy power was the perfect combination of the purest power from the massacring rune and the chaotic fire rune. Its power could be compared to the energy produced by Ricky's Ultimate Golden Body. It was the strongest power Ricky could muster at the moment.

Ricky fused the galaxy power with the power of his Ultimate Golden Body, and he went beyond his power’s limit.

"Golden Dragon Strike!" Tobias bellowed and charged at Ricky.

He moved so fast that he kicked up clouds upon clouds of dust behind him, and the golden horns on his head started to glow and emanate a spectacular aura of Golden Holy Fire and Golden Enlightenment that radiated all over his body.

Soon, the energy shot out of Tobias" horns in different directions like rays of sunlight and slowly turned into a massive golden dragon flying above Tobias’ head.

With a deafening roar, Tobias’ dragon summoned countless fire balls that looked like tiny brilliant suns floating just underneath its mighty wings.

Even from a significant distance, Ricky could feel that the energy from each of those fire balls was at least as strong as the power of a first-class middle spiritual king.

Tobias’ fire dragon was indeed formidable. In this battle, it was definitely the hardest thing to deal with.

'So this is what burning the origin of your mutant gets you, ' Ricky thought with a grave expression. He felt the hair on the back of his neck stand on end as he watched Tobias’ fiery strike come at him at full speed. He braced himself.

“Thank god I've got the powers of the four zones to protect me. Otherwise, I'm good as ash in the next few seconds, * Ricky thought, fear gripping him for the first time in a very long time.

Confident as he might be, he felt quite small at the moment. He could admit that indeed without his four zones to protect him, he would die a thousand ugly deaths in Tobias’ hands.

"It's true that being strong is the key to success in the world of martial arts,” Ricky murmured and then stopped himself, feeling his opponent's overwhelming power.

It was not the right time for philosophy. The most important and pressing thing at the moment was to win and survive the fight.

'I entrust my life unto you two, the galaxy power and my Ultimate Golden Body! Let's go!" Ricky exclaimed in his heart. Protected by his first level of Ultimate Golden Body, he planted his feet firmly in the ground, bent his knees, and then shot himself up in the air to meet his rival head-on.

As Ricky was flying directly into Tobias" attack, the four runic powers forged invisible armor and enveloped his Ultimate Golden Body. Ricky was now equipped with dual protection, and it was the best defense he could build.

The two kinds of powers, the galaxy power and the Ultimate Golden Body, continued to merge with the four runic powers at Ricky's bidding. Their powers slowly flowed into Ricky's Iron Destroyer, turning it into an even more powerful weapon, powerful enough to tear space apart.

"The Galaxy Saber Skill—Four-side Thrusts!"

As he ran at the top of his speed, Ricky brought his sword from up and down decisively. The trace of the sword's pointy end was extremely tricky. And as soon as he thrust it up again, the blade copied itself into four golden purple ones which shot out from around him in four directions.

With four new blades flying alongside him, Ricky was determined to attack without any reservations and applied the strongest skill of the Thrusting Formula—the four-side thrusts.

Of course, of all his martial arts, the four-side thrusts were not his ace. His most powerful skill remained to be the Blood Vitality Devouring Skill.

He did not exactly choose this skill out of caution, for he had no idea whether Tobias still had other more dangerous tricks up his sleeve. Ricky just would like to test whether the Galaxy Saber Skill would be able to defeat his opponent.

Charging toward Tobias in midair, Ricky's four blades flew ahead of him, pointing toward the fire balls. Golden and purple sparks flew and crackled as the four blades connected with one another and formed an electric net in front of Ricky.

Tobias then sent his fire balls raining down on Ricky like an apocalyptic meteor shower. To his surprise, Ricky's electric net slowed them down and stopped them altogether.

Tobias stared in horror as Ricky gazed back at him with a meaningful smile, beaming with the power of his Ultimate Golden Body. Since the fire balls were greatly weakened by the Thrusting Formula, they were unlikely to do any harm to Ricky even if they were able to get rid of the net of blades, not to mention that Ricky had his Ultimate Golden Body to act as a shield.

The stalemate between the blades and the fire balls didn't last long. Overcame by the great pressure from the blades, those fire balls used up their energy and got split into two by the blades, before they vanished completely.

Ricky grinned. At the back of his mind, he could not believe it was that easy to beat Tobias’ seemingly unbeatable strike.

Now it was time to go for Tobias' fire dragon. The smoke was still clearing from Tobias’ crumbled fire balls, but Ricky was not about to waste time.

"Let the blades fuse!" Ricky bellowed, raising his Iron Destroyer. It buzzed with even more power now, hungry for the blood of Ricky's rival like a ravenous wolf.

The four huge blades shot up in the air and converged at once, forming a single, massive golden purple blade. Then, Ricky's four runic powers began flooding into it, filling it with unspeakably destructive power.

Boom!

An ear-piercing metallic sound resounded throughout the Birthplace of Ghosts. Ricky's weapon's transformation was complete. It radiated so much power that its energy shook the earth to its core. In a heartbeat, Ricky's newly forged blade flew toward Tobias’ dragon. It happened so fast that Tobias was not able to summon a counter-attack.

Then came a keening that was loud enough to cause an earache—it was from the dragon of golden fire. It seemed that the dragon was pierced through by the blades of lights.

Before the dragon could let out another piercing cry, Ricky's sword was flying toward it once again. Tobias tried to stop Ricky's attacks on his beast, but Ricky's weapon was moving too fast as if a giant, invisible hand was wielding it, leaving nothing but golden and purple sparks that were bright enough to light up the sky. He watched helplessly as Ricky's sword hacked at his poor fire dragon. Then, there was a deafening cracking sound followed by a weak howl. The ground shook. At that moment, the overwhelming energy surrounding the battleground exploded, producing dazzling lightning bolts.

The fight was over.

Ricky was able to witness it all despite the smoke and energy surge. His blade of galaxy power gave out another flash of golden purple light and cut the dragon in several places at lightning speed. The dragon did not last very long with the countless deep gashes Ricky's sword inflicted on its burning skin. It struggled to keep itself in the air as it bled itself dry.

Then, Ricky's blade of galaxy power pushed forward and split the golden beast in half. Its blood sprayed in the air and then fell to the ground like hot, crimson rain. With a long, final wail, Tobias" dismembered fire dragon kissed the earth, never to raise its head again. Following the fall of the dragon, the blade of the galaxy power went on and cut a huge golden figure into two. The smell of hot blood came again, and drops after drops of red rain fell from the sky.

Ricky left the battlefield a winner but fell before he could reach his friends. The fight had drained so much of his energy that he was barely able to stand.

"Ricky!"

"Ricky!"

Soar and the others cried, rushing to Ricky's aid.

"Soar, Terrence, Tobias is dead. Don't worry, I'm in one piece. Now, kill the rest of them," Ricky said coldly as Carley held him.

He decided not to show mercy to the remaining enemies, for he knew very well that if it was him who had lost the battle, Tobias and his men would never spare their lives.

"Got it, Ricky!"

Soar replied at once, his morale skyrocketed. His body expanded and unleashed sweeping dragon power like a hot and fierce snake. His Heaven Melting Fire turned into a fire dragon, surging with powerful energy that was ready to finish the battle.

Now Keith was merely an insect in Soar's eyes.

"Heaven's Killing and Earth's Killing!" Terrence bellowed. He, too, had activated his most powerful killing strikes.

Madeline was also going to attack in full force. She struck their enemies with her sword empowered by the Ice Enlightenment.
