“Hey, are you really okay?” Quintin asked worriedly.

“How about taking another antidote pill?”

Rachel took out a small bottle from her pocket and poured two flat while pills onto her palm.

They were the antidote pills she received during one of her missions as a member of the Red Hackers.

Originally, there were three of them.

According to the person who gave it to her, the pills could detoxify most poisons.

Additionally, even if it could not completely null the effects of poisons, it could still slow down the toxic substances from spreading to the whole body, buying her more time to seek treatment.

Rachel had never used it until now.

Before she was set up and sent to prison, she hid the pills together with her other belongings in a safe-deposit box in the Swiss bank.

It was not until four years ago that she retrieved them shortly after returning to the Red Hackers.

She had been keeping the pills since then.

Although she knew there would not be any tasks that would put her in a similar position as before, she still kept them at hand in case of an emergency.

Before drinking the poisoned water, she stealthily stuffed one of the pills in her mouth.

Putting the pills back into the bottle, Rachel replied, “No, I’m fine.”

On the other hand, the sun had yet to rise completely when Joey woke up.

He walked to the balcony and saw Eva arrive, only to leave again.

A few minutes later, Rachel also left.

After Rachel’s car disappeared from his sight, Joey went back to his room.

He stripped off his sleepwear and put on another set of clothes before covering the lower part of his face with a mask.

Then, he quietly left the house.

A few blocks away from the house, a silver-gray car was waiting for him to come out.

As soon as Joey exited the gate of the house, the car drove forward and stopped in front of him.

The window of the back seat rolled down, revealing a smiling Hector.

“I knew you’d come,” he said.

He then opened the door for Joey to get in.

The boy did nothing for a while.

He just stared at Hector, contemplating, and then he released a sigh and entered the car with a blank face.

The door closed, and the driver locked it.

Soon, the silver-gray car drove away.

Hector handed Joey the breakfast that he had bought earlier.
