Relieved, Quintin rubbed the back of his head.

After a long ride from the airport, they finally arrived at the

It had only been four years, but Quintin felt it had been a lifetime since he last stepped into the house.

He didn’t know what to feel when he got out of the car and looked at the yard.

“What are you thinking about?” Joey asked when he saw him staring at the house.

“Nothing.

I’m just being reminded of the past.”

Curious, Joey tilted his head slightly.

“The past? What exactly about it? Have you been here before?”

“Yes, but I only stayed for two nights.” Quintin looked away.

“Let’s go.

I’ve been on the plane for a day and a night, so I’m starving.”

When he heard that, Joey suddenly thought of something and warmed up to Quintin.

“What would you like for breakfast? I’ll ask Lila to cook it for you.”

“Anything.

I’m not a picky eater, you see,” Quintin said, not noticing the gleam in Joey’s eyes.

“Alright!”

Quintin suddenly remembered the costume in the car.

He opened the car door and reached for it.

Suddenly, Joey strode over and took the costume before Quintin could.

“I’UL take this to your room.

You must be very tired from the flight.

The mattess in your room is new and comfortable.

You can take a good rest there.”

Joey’s suggestion was what Quintin wanted and he agreed.

Joey returned a smile.

He turned on his heels and led Quintin all the way to the guest room on the second floor.

Lila had already cleaned the guest room last night.

Some staff installed the mattress after Rachel and Joey went out to pick Quintin up this morning.

Joey placed the costume on the sofa before turning to Quintin and said, “Have a good rest.

Now, I’ll leave you to it.”

He turned around and headed for the door.
