Their lips met, and the world around them ceased to exist. Time seemed to slow, stretching out in a surreal dance of emotions.

The kiss began gently, a delicate exploration of tender desire. Levi's lips, soft and warm, caressed Amery's with an achingly sweet tenderness. There was a profound sense of vulnerability and possessiveness in his touch, a silent promise of protection and affection. Amery's heart soared as she surrendered herself to the moment, her own lips parting to welcome him further. Passion ignited between them, like a spark igniting a roaring fire. Their kiss deepened, a symphony of emotions playing out through their entwined mouths. Levi's hand, once cupping Amery's face, slid down to rest against the small of her back, pulling her closer. The other hand found its way to the nape of her neck, his fingers tangling gently in her hair, anchoring her to him.

Her hands left Levi's chest and wound around his neck, her fingers threading through his hair, as if to memorize every strand. She responded to his gentle pull, their bodies aligning in a perfect fit. Their closeness intensified, their senses merging as they became lost in the heady whirlwind of emotions.

Time seemed both infinite and fleeting as they kissed, their desires harmonizing in a crescendo of affection. Their connection transcended words, spoken or unspoken, as they expressed their love through this electrifying union. Every touch, every shared breath, spoke volumes of the deep bond they shared.

Eventually, their lips reluctantly parted, leaving a gossamer thread connecting them. Their eyes met once more, their expressions mirrored with a shared understanding of the emotions that flowed between them. Amery could feel the connection and she wondered if he felt it too. Her wolf has been set off and she could tell.

"What do you think you're doing?" Levi was taken aback by Amery's sudden action. He never expected her to kiss him and definitely not after she had told him off earlier in the closet that she didn't want to get involved with him in this manner.

"Shut up and just pretend that we're..." She trailed off while he waited for her to finish her sentence. He could already tell what she wanted to say but he'd be damned if he should say it for her. He had proposed the motion before and she turned him down so this time around, she was going to be the one to propose it as well if she needed his help.

"Pretend that we're what?" He asked with a cynical smile. She could tell that he was enjoying this right now and she wanted nothing more than to scratch-off that smile on his face but then again she wouldn't want to create a scene in the presence of Sean especially when she has gone all out, bragging about the fact that Levi was her boyfriend now.

"You know what I want to say." She said in a low whisper so that no one would hear but Levi folded his hands across his chest as he stared at her intently.

"No. I do not know what you want to say" He told her off. "So if there's anything that you'd like to tell me then please, go ahead Miss Amery Hunter. I'm all ears."

"Would you please stop and stop pretending?"

"But I'm not pretending. I have no idea what you want to tell me right now." He lied again in a bid to rile her up which seemed to be working perfectly. "Levi-"

"If you're so ashamed to say then I'll just walk right out of here-" He made to leave but she stopped him before he could take another step.

"About what you said earlier concerning us being in a fake relationship, I gladly accept."

Levi looked at her as though she had grown a second pair of head. He was shocked speechless would have been a better word to describe how he felt at that moment.

"But why? Why did you suddenly change your mind because I remembered you wanted to eat me up for breakfast and spit me out when I had mentioned it in the closet earlier today." He exaggerated.

"Because..." She almost answered in a high pitched voice. She looked around the gym to see if anyone was listening to her and sadly she found Sean staring at her from afar. "Because Sean had mocked me earlier. He made fun of me that I wouldn't be able to score a hot boyfriend like you and that the only reason why I was this close to you was because I was trying to please you."

"And?" He pressed on.

"I told him that I wasn't lying and when he asked me for proof I decided to kiss you and that's why I'm here right now so please don't turn me down."

"But he didn't lie, did he? No one would believe that we were together in a relationship even if you tell them because I'm definitely hotter than you." He bragged causing Amery to roll her eyes.

"Whatever." She brushed him off. "I just wanted to know if you hadn't changed your mind about it because I'm interested now."

He leaned closer. "So you want to prove Sean wrong and also prove a point by making him jealous right?"

"If I have to." She conceded. "Sean has taken a lot from me and I won't let him take more. First he took away my best friend and as if it wasn't enough, he went ahead to act judge and jury over my life so if this is the way to stop him then I will do so gladly. So what do you say? do you think we can be partners and pull this off without anyone knowing anything about it?"Read more at FindNovel.net

To answer her question, he held her by her waist and pulled her closer to him. Her hands flattened around his chest and her breath hitched. "First of all if you'd like to make a point known to a guy like Sean then you would know how to kiss properly." Before she would protest, he crashed his lips on hers for the second time while she melted into him as the kiss deepened.
