Her Revenge Contract
Chapter 113

Xavier's POV

A satisfied moan escaped my lips as I regained consciousness. I slept well last night-the best sleep I've ever had in the last couple of months. Last night was one of the most memorable moments of my life. The lovemaking was passionate and pure; I couldn't get

enough of Kate, and I wanted more.

I wanted to feel her soft curves below me and hear her soft moans as I trusted her. I wanted to taste her sweet lips on me and see how her body responded to my touch.

My cock twitched at the thought and hardened as the images of last night ran through my mind.

I instinctively reached out in search of Kate, only to find the bed empty and cold.

Did she go to the loo?

I kept quiet, taking a whiff.

My eyes flew open, knowing that Kate wasn't there, and in less than a second, I was awake and furious!

My gaze scanned the room for any sigh of Kate still being there, but instead it fell on a pile of papers at my bedside.

"No!" I whispered to myself, feeling my heart slowly being torn apart.

I slowly reached for the pile of papers as if they were about to burn my fingers and brought them closer. Something dropped to the floor and rolled under the bed, yet I wasn't concerned.

As expected, it was the agreement for the shares.

A sticky note was pasted on the top page with a simple message.

"As per agreement," the note said, "all is in order, and I have signed the contract. Only your signature is needed."

I sat upright, startled.

Ray walked out of the depths of my mind, irritated and annoyed. He started to pace up and down in my mind, worried.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"She left," he growled. "And it's all your fault!"

She left me? Kate left me! But why?

Why did Ray think it was my fault? What was he talking about?

Kate might just have gone to her room. She had done this before.

"What do you mean that Kate left?" I asked.

"She is not coming back!" He said, Stop pacing up and down and looking at me. "Kia said they were leaving, and now I can't connect with her!"

"Left where?" I yelled out, frustrated, jumping out of bed to get dressed.

"Greyson!" I mind linked, "get your ass to my quarters."

"Yes, Alpha!" He replied and cut the link.

Five minutes later, Greyson walked in, seemingly happy, until he saw me sitting with my hands in my hair.

I felt broken and lost without her.

Why was Kate doing this to me?

"What's going on?" Greyson asked, "Where is Luna?"

"She left," I said tiredly.

"Where to?" He asked, confused.

He had brought us back home last night, and we were all in love and giggles on our return home.

"That's what I want to know from you!" I growled darkly, feeling my heart ache in my chest.

I had neglected Kate all these weeks, and Greyson was the one who stood by her side all the way. He should be able to tell me what was going through her beautiful mind or have an idea where she would go. "I don't know what you are talking about, nor do I know where Luna has gone," he said, shifting his head to the side.

"Don't do that!" I yelled at him, "Don't you dare try and read me!"

"What happened, Xavier?" He suddenly asked, and his eyes flashed out of anger.

Greyson barely gets angry, but when he does, even I wouldn't be able to control him.

"Nothing!" I yelled. "I really thought everything was perfect, until..."

Greyson caught on quickly.

"You told her about the pup she lost?" He asked.

I nodded my head and rubbed my face, eventually answering his question.

"Yes," I said, "I did. I couldn't keep that to myself anymore."

"What did you say to her?" He asked, taking a seat.

"I told her she was pregnant and lost the pup," I answered.

Greyson rubbed his chin for a few seconds before he looked at me.

"Isn't it obvious?" Greyson suddenly asked.

"What's obvious?" I growled and slammed my hands on the glass table. "Tell me what the f*ck is going on? Why do I have you by my side as Beta if you keep on talking in riddles?"

Greyson just looked at me, keeping calm. He waited for me to get my emotions under control. He had become used to my uncontrollable outbursts over the last couple of weeks.

Loosing the pup was the main thing that was slowly consuming me alive-it was driving me mad. And because I refused to tell Kate until the court cases were settled, it just added to my frustration.

I just couldn't bear to be selfish and tell her my troubles; I needed her to focus on her revenge. I needed her to tell me what she wanted and needed.

Greyson's phone suddenly beeped, indicating he had just received a notification, and he pulled his phone out of his pocket.

He slowly raised his eyebrows, and concern crossed his eyes as his eyes lifted to look at me.

"What?" I asked, knowing that look. Greyson was about to give me bad news when he handed me his phone.

"I am sorry, Xavier," he said as I read through Kate's Instagram post. There was a photo attached to the post, and I recognized that Kate was standing at the airport.

Kate's simple post read: "I have broken off my engagement with Mr. Xavier Black. I am about to start a new life somewhere else."

My heart stopped, and I could feel all the blood draining from my body.

"Xavier?" Greyson called and shook my shoulder. "Xavier?"

"I don't care what methods you need to use; just find and bring Kate back!" I said to Greyson.

Greyson nodded and left.

The news of our breakup quickly went viral. Reports of our love in the past are now repeatedly questioned. Our fans were angry and scoffed at us.

I sighed and kept on calling Kate, hoping she would pick up her phone.

Greyson tried to track Kate's phone, but she found a way to have the technology removed, which made the tracking impossible.

I called Greyson every few minutes, and his answer was always the same: he couldn't find Kate.

Near noon, I couldn't control my emotions any longer. I was crying heartbrokenly in my room.

I refused to eat or drink, my emotions spiraling out of control.

Ray was on the brink of forcing control, and I needed to fight every cell in my body to keep him at bay.

My phone eventually rang with the news I so desperately waited for.

"Xavier, I found her!" Kelly yelled excitedly over the phone.

"Where?" I asked, hearing my voice break.

"I am sending you the travel records now," she said, hanging up.

My patience was running out as I waited for Kelly's message to come through.

When the beeping sound of my phone came, I grabbed the phone and read through the message.

I growled in anger when I saw that Kate used her mother's maiden name to do her flight bookings.

I read through the information, noticing Kate was about to fly to New Zealand.

Kelly had attached a photo to the email.

I printed the photo and Kate's identity information and looked at the photo. My gaze landed on Kate's smile in the photo, and my heart pounded hurtfully in my chest.

I never realized that I loved Kate so much, even though we haven't completed the marking yet.

Kate had become my world and my being for survival, and without her, my life meant nothing to me.

I called Kelly, and she answered at the first ring; she was expecting my call.

"Get my plane ready," I said coldly, clenching the photo of Kate in my hand, "and make sure we land there before she lands."

"It's already arranged, Alpha," she said. "We are waiting for you to arrive."
