Ethan's POV

The fall through the darkness seemed endless. Every instinct screamed at me to fight, to thrust my fingers into the light. "Bianca!" he said. he said, smirking. I called out, but the shadow swallowed the words, driving him into the depths.

Every sign of him filled me with dread. As I fell deeper, memories of our time together flashed before my eyes-laughter, warmth, shared dreams. They glowed like fireflies in the darkness, kindling wild hope.
