Chapter 73

Bianca's POV

The world spun around me as the darkness swallowed Ethan, pulling him deeper into the abyss. "Ethan!" I screamed, my voice hoarse in frustration. Panic washed over me, a fear threatening to swallow my resolve. The shadow twisted and writhed around me like a snake, but I refused to be frightened. I can feel the energy of our relationship pulsating inside me, a spark flickering against the impending darkness. "I'll be looking for you!" I declared, pulling out every ounce of magic left. Derek's laughter echoed through the void, chilling my bones. "Do you think you can save her? You're too late!" His voice was thick with malice, every word infused with cruel pleasure. "No!" I yelled back, my heart pounding. I focused on the light that united us, willing it to guide me through the chaos. Warmth flowed through me, and I threw my arms forward, summoning a light to cut through the shadows. Ethan's POV

The darkness pressed around me, a cold chill. I could feel the magic cutting through me, the muscles tight. I struggled with them, but the shadows were relentless, pulling me deeper into despair. "Bianca!"

I screamed, but the void swallowed my voice. I focused on our relationship, the light flashing in my mind like a distant telegraph. "We're strong together!"

I shouted, forcing my magic into action. I could feel faint hope as I pushed against the shadows and tried to free myself from them. But there was Derek, hovering like a dark ghost. "Do you think you can escape?" He cruelly mocked the glittering eyes. "You belong to the shadow now!"

Bianca's POV

I felt Ethan's presence melting, his magic melting under the weight of Derek's darkness. "No!" I screamed, tears streaming down my face. "I won't let you take it!"

With renewed determination, I summoned every ounce of strength in me. Light came in, and I pushed forward, exposing the void, fighting the shadows that surrounded me. "Ethan!"

I cried, carrying my love with bursting energy into the heart of darkness. The shadow recoiled, but Derek stood his ground. "You can't win! Darkness is my kingdom!" He roared, his voice booming like thunder Ethan's POV

I felt a shift in energy as Bianca resisted Derek's influence. The darkness around me trembled, and for a moment there was a flicker of hope. "Bianca!"

hl I called back and tried to get rid of it. I focused on the warmth of her magic, letting it guide me through the despair. But just when I thought I could reach him, the shadow flew up, tightening their grip.

I could feel Derek laughing in my mind, taunting me with visions of defeat. "You'll be gone forever!"

Bianca's POV

The shadows receded a little and gave me a little hope. "Ethan, I can feel you!" I screamed, pouring every bit of love and magic into our relationship. I could see the light chase the darkness, but it flashed and disappeared. "Stay with me!" he said. I demanded, and my voice broke. "I'm right here!" I reached out, channeling my strength towards her, creating a beam of light that cut through the shadows.

But Derek was done. He slammed into my barrier, releasing a wave of dark energy, releasing a wave of shock from every energy. "You think you can ignore me?" he growled, his voice angry. "You'll suffer for this! Ethan's POV

The shadow fell and I felt the weight of disappointment crush me. I could feel Bianca's light shining, but still it was there, a light in the darkness.

"I'm coming for you!" I shouted, forcing my magic to respond. Pushing away from the shadows, I could feel my strength growing, fueled by my relationship with him.

"together!" I roared, summoning a swirl of energy crashing into the void. The shadow moved, and I saw a flash of light in front of me. "Bianca!"  I called out, my heart pounding as I struggled to free myself. Bianca's POV

Ethan's voice warmed inside me, stirring my determination. As we pushed into the darkness, the heat of our relationship grew.

"I won't let him take you!" I screamed, my magic merging with his, creating powerful waves of light. As our energy contrasted with Derek's darkness, I felt the void vibrate and the shadows stir. "We can do this!" he said. I burst into tears, pouring everything I had into our relationship.

But Derek fumed with rage, summoning more darkness to his side. "Do you think you can escape me?" He screamed, and the shadow rose in defiance. "I'll destroy you two!" Ethan's POV

The darkness raced forward and I could feel it wrapping around me as it tried to crush my soul. But I wouldn't give up "Bianca, hold on!". I shouted, pushing away the cascading shadows. The light pulsed from our wires, intensifying as it continued and fought against the darkness.

"We're in this together!" Wanting to free myself from the shadows, I called. His strength matched mine, creating a barrier of light that pushed back against Derek's attack.

But as I continued forward, Derek unleashed a wave of dark energy that hit me hard, sending me sprawling across the floor. "You're slow!" he said.

"You will never run away!" she laughed in a dismissive tone. With one final push, I reached Bianca and summoned all my strength. "I'm not sure!" he said. I screamed as I felt the shadow trying to drag me down. But as our fingers rubbed together, suddenly a terrible wave broke and I felt the earth split open beneath me.

"No!" I cried out, watching in horror as the sword opened wide, threatening to swallow us both in the darkness. "Ethan!"

Bianca's voice sounded disappointed as the shadows flowed towards her, their whispers filling the air with fear. At that point, I realized that the war was far from over, and our greatest battle had just begun.
