Chapter 57

Beta Liam

Cal leans over and places her in the arms of a very emotional Ashley, neither he nor Jack can say a word, Jack wraps one arm around Ashley and places his other hand gently on the baby’s back, he looks up to Calvin but he’s speechless, Ashley to and I’d be lying if I said there was a dry eye in the room including the Alpha’s!

“Meet your daddies, baby girl!” He gently whispers to her before taking a step back with a proud smile!

“We’ll give you some time, we’ll be in the lounge!” Calvin nods our way and everyone gets up quietly, no one speaks we’re all too busy taking in this incredible moment, everyone heads for the lounge until there’s only me, Calvin, Brooke and Alpha John left, as we get to the kitchen door Cal stops and turns around to face the new family.

“Jack, Ashley, Before I leave, I just want to say this isn’t a command, I have a plan b if this isn’t what you guys want, no one would judge either of you!” Neither of them looks up to us, neither of them has taken their eyes off her or moved since Cal handed her over.

“Get out!” Is all we hear come from Jack, more like a silent f**k off if you ask me. A chuckle leaves all of our lips and we quickly leave and reach the lounge seconds later. The moment the lounge door closes everyone bursts out in chatter.

“Calvin that was without a doubt the right decision, for both baby girl and them!” I’m quick to speak up.

“Honestly it was an easy decision, I knew the day we found out about her that she would go to them but I still wanted to make sure I explored all opinions for her but nothing else came close to the life they will give her, how much they will love her, and the family she will grow up in with us around!”

“I agree, they have always spoken about wanting children and with the engagement, this is perfect for them!”

“Before I forget I want to give Jack some time off, they weren’t expecting this they need time to adjust and bond and find their own way and routine so I’m going to need you more in the next couple of weeks, I was thinking we can split his workload so he doesn’t have to worry!”

“Of course, brother, we’ve got him covered, he needs time to bond with his daughter, f**k his daughter…that’s crazy to say!” Before Cal can say anymore the door opens and in steps Jack and Ashley with baby girl curled into Jack’s arm, sleeping, looking so peaceful, looking like it’s exactly where she belongs.

Gamma Jack

The moment Calvin stopped in front of me and Ashley and smiled, I knew exactly what he was going to do and I swear my f*****g heart stopped! Tears laced my eyes as reality set in, my hand covering my mouth holding in the screams I wanted to release.

Ashley was doing the exact same thing, I could feel his emotions and I knew he was feeling everything I was but still, I didn’t want to let myself believe it was going to happen but then Calvin slowly placed her into the crock of Ashley’s arm and my world came to a complete stop.

I wrapped one arm around Ashley while my other arm rested carefully on her little back, I needed to feel her, needed to feel that this was real!

“Meet your daddies, baby girl!” He gently whispered and I wanted to bawl like a baby!

I can hear muffled voices around us but I haven’t got a clue what they are saying, out of the corner of my eyes I can see feet moving towards the door but I have no interest in looking up to see what going on, my eyes are glued on the little blonde hair blue eyed baby girl that’s staring back me.

After just a few moments Calvin calls out my name but I can’t peel my eyes off her.

“Jack, Ashley, Before I leave, I just want to say this isn’t a command, I have a plan b if this isn’t what you want guys, no one would judge either of you!” pfft there’s more chance of Brooke giving birth to a unicorn than of either of us giving this little bundle back, Ashley doesn’t say a word but I know he’d say the same.

“Get out!” I grunt out as a silent f**k off and they quickly catch my drift as I hear chuckles coming from the doorway before they leave and it’s just us left, just me, my future husband and our daughter!

“We’re not giving her back are we Jack?” Ashley takes his eyes off her for the first time since he was handed her, he looks at me with worried eyes, I can see he’s already in love with her and he’s not the only one!

“Do you want to?”

“No, I love her already, I don’t care who her b***d parents were, I want her!”

“Good because I will tear apart anyone who tries to take her away from us!” He instantly looks relieved.

“So, we’re doing this? We’re going to be daddies?” He asks with so much hope that it pulls at my heart!

“Yes, we are, were really doing this!” He’s instantly beaming as am I.

“We need to name her!” As much as it’s been cute calling her baby girl that’s not going to work forever.

“How about Willow?” My heart stops beating for a second at hearing the name and the tears that I managed to chase away quickly reappear! Ashley gives my hand a gentle squeeze, helping calm me.

“Are you sure?”

“Of course, she definitely looks like a Willow!”

“Thank you, baby, how about Kelly as her middle name?” Now it’s his turn to be teary-eyed! as he smiles and nods my way.

“When we get married, will you still take my name?” He answers yes without any hesitation, we had already discussed this but it doesn’t harm to double-check.

“Would you like to hold your daughter?” abso-f*****g-lutley! Ashley slowly places her in my arms and my heart picks up its pace as I stare down into the eyes of my daughter and I know without a doubt that I will destroy anyone who ever tries to cause her any harm, I will lay down my life for her, her and Ashley!

“Willow Kelly Michealson!” I murmur as I stroke her silk blonde locks. Ashley leans into me gently holding her hand.

“Shall we go and introduce our daughter to the rest of her family?” Ashley quickly agrees and we soon head to the lounge, my daughter in one arm and my future husband on my other arm, f**k this is surreal!

Alpha Calvin

The moment I see the guys walk in with baby girl I feel pride swell in my chest! I already knew it was the right decision but seeing them, seeing the love they already have for her just confirms everything for me.

“Hey everyone, we’d like to introduce you to willow Kelly Michealson!” Everyone is beaming in between small gasps and approving nods, both Jack and Ashley have tears laced in their eyes and I notice Bethany looking slightly lost and confused but Jack quickly picks up on this.

“Willow was my mother’s name Bethany, she died 10 years ago!” Jack tells her.

“And Kelly is my sister’s name and Michealson is Jack’s last name, I’ll be taking it once we are married so it makes sense to give her the name now,” Ashley adds in.

“Aww, I’m so sorry to hear about your mom Jack, didn’t you want your mom’s name in there too Ashley?”

“f**k no! My mother is a vindictive b***h and if I have my way she will never ever know about our daughter! Kelly is my little sister I’ve not seen her in over 2 years and I miss her every day!”

“Oh, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have asked!” Poor Bethany looks so guilty!

“No no baby girl hush now, everyone in this room knows my story, no one else from the pack does though but soon enough so will you, I’m not ashamed by my story, not anymore!” He gives Jack a loving smile that Jack soon repays with a proud smile of his own.

“Are you going to share her any time soon or what? I’m growing hold waiting to officially meet my niece here mind!” Liam shots out, as always, he’s brilliant at turning a situation around.

Jack gently passes willow to him and we all know it will be a while until he or Ashley get her back there are a lot of aunties and uncles waiting for their hold.

“It’s a shame she won’t have any grandparents around for all that kind of stuff!” Jack chimes out with a sad smile, I know that look, his parents are deeply on his mind right now!

“But she does, she has me and Michael!” My mom chimes out with her beautiful smile while my dad quickly agrees.

“And us!” Adds in Liam’s mom and dad. I can see how happy this makes Ashley and Jack.

“I think the 4 of us are utterly blessed, Bella, Willow and baby boy, 3 grandbabies in 1 year, it’s amazing!” My mum laughs out excited and all the parents waste no time in agreeing!

“Oh, Calvin what was the plan b you mentioned earlier?” Jack suddenly asks. Oh, that!

“Hmm yes that, well there wasn’t actually a plan b, I knew I didn’t need one but I also didn’t want you to think I was forcing this upon you!” No words are needed the look they both give me is enough to end the conversation and I couldn’t be more proud of them!

We stay in the lounge chatting and sharing Bella and willow around before Jack, Ashley, Willow, Beth and Brooke head out to town to do some shopping for Willow. Originally, I planned on stocking them up on everything they needed but I knew Ashley at least would want to shop for her himself so instead, I just got the basics together to last her a day or two and now I’m glad I did, they look so proud leaving the pack house with her.

We thank Alpha John and wave him off as he leaves my pack with his pack members before me and Liam head to my office to run through Jack’s schedule for the next few weeks and work out who can take what, once we’ve got it planned, I’ll tell Jack.

Liam seems restless the whole time we are there and I know it’s because his wolf is giving him s**t because Bethany’s left the packhouse so the moment we are finished I shut off the laptop and decided some time with my brother is needed!

“Come on, we’re going for a run!” He looks confused at first but quickly realises that I know what’s going on.

“I’m fine brother you don’t have to worry about me!”

“Well, that’s great to know but Colton is being a pain in the a*s today, I’ve not let him out for 3 days and he’s not too happy with me, the company would be much appreciated!”

“Ok let’s go!” I knew I’d have him by saying that and it’s partly true, I haven’t been for a run in 3 days but Colton is used to it with how busy I can get so he usually gives me about 5 days at the most before he becomes a living nightmare.

I quickly link my top 2 warriors letting them know I’m going for a run but I will keep my link open before we reach the tree line, strip of and shift quickly before diving into the woods, enjoying the peace and quiet that the woods always brings before we have to get back to reality!
