Just when I turn some of you against Nathan, here's his POV. Unedited......

Nathan grabs the steaming cup of black coffee that his new assistant just put on his desk. He took a sip letting the heat warm his chest and takes a deep breath. He was extremely busy and that's how he wanted it. He had to keep his mind from roaming on Sabrina. Just the thought of her made his blood boil. He couldn't believe what a good liar she was, or the part of the story she was purposely leaving out. Past.

It had been a day since Sabrina went back to her Hometown. He had been trying his hardest to focus on work, but all he could think about was her. He made a huge mistake planning a second wedding when clearly her head wasn't in the right place.

All he was thinking about was making her smile the way she used to.

He sits at his desk and picks up a picture he had with her. It was her birthday. He threw a party at the Alden museum. Birthday cake was smashed into her face by Gracie. It was one of the best nights.

It was a little while before they lost Auden. It was one of the last times he had seen a genuine smile on her. He remembers that night, licking off leftover chocolate cake residue off of her body hungrily. God he missed her, he missed the way they were. He hoped that some time away would help bring her back to him.

"Excuse me, sir." His assistant Anthony opens his office door.

"Come in." He places the picture down.

Anthony walks in with distressed features and a newspaper. He keeps eye contact with mostly the floor. "I'm not sure if you've seen this." He hands Nathan the paper.

He takes it and gives it a quick emotionless look over before he barks. "Get out!"

The door closed shut within seconds, and Nathan flipped the paper open. He cringed at the sight at Judd and his wife's shared intimacy.

His heart began pumping blood at its maximum rate. He was supposed to be angry. He wanted to be angry. Angry wouldn't hurt. All he felt was pain. No one had ever been able to hurt him, until now.

She turned to his cousin for the comfort he wasn't giving her. No, Sabrina would never do something like this. There must another explanation. He picks up his phone and dials her cell phone. It goes straight to voicemail. He was over at Judd's house in 40 minutes.

"Where is he?" He barged into his Aunt Melissa's house, demanding to know. His aunt was sitting in her living room with her cell phone on her ear.

"He's not here Nathan." She puts her phone down and rises from her seat. She looked panicked but not surprised.

"Where is he?" He looks around like Judd was hiding in some corner.

"I'm sorry Nathan, he's with Sabrina."

He stopped. A line formed between his brows. Frozen from his next thought. It was sickening how one statement could make him feel like he didn't have it in him to take one step toward the door. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and checks for any missed calls or text. Nothing. It was already getting dark and she still hasn't called.

"He said they are in love, and that they want to be together. I'm so sorry. He didn't mean for this to happen." His aunt watched him with sympathy. "He truly loves her. I've never seen him like this before. He actually wants to do better with himself because of her."

"Please." He puts his hand up. He couldn't bear hearing anymore. As hard as it was he took a step to the door instead of dropping on his knees.

She left him for another man. He could have put his life on it that she would have never had even looked at another man that way.

He knew they were fighting but, he thought that they were stronger than this. He would have never given up on their marriage. He would have never looked in the direction of another woman. He would have been there for her until his last breath. And even then, his soul wouldn't have ever left her side. He loved her that much.

As he drives his car back to his office, he kept seeing the picture in the paper flashing before his eyes. He felt disgusted with her. He started to realize that she was never the person he thought she was. The pain he was feeling finally subsided and the angry rose.

The next day, Judd was brave enough to show up at Nathan's office. Jill's voice was shaking as she told him who was there to see him.

You could say Nathan was surprised. The man had balls he had to admit.

"Send him in." Worst case scenario, he kills him.

Nathan doesn't stand, he laces his finger together and sets them on his desk.

Judd sticks his hand in his dark blue jeans pocket. He didn't seem to regretful at all. He looked Nathan straight in the eyes. "Nice office." He glances around. He never stepped foot in it before. He was given a job working downstairs in the mailroom.

"Get to it."

Judd takes one of his hands out of his pocket and rubs his chin with his index finger and thumb. "I wish that I came here to say I'm sorry."

"Just get to it." Nathan hisses. He just wanted Judd to get to the part where he and Sabrina ride into the sunset together so he could stop checking his phone for Sabrina's calls.

"I'm sure you've seen the paper."

"Just get to your fucking point already."He stands and moves closer to his cousin.

"Sabrina didn't want me." He states matter of factly.

Nathan took a large gulp. "What are you talking about?"

"Yeah, I fell in love with her. I thought that she was in love with me. I'll spare you the details of how I came to this conclusion, but she never wanted me. She just wanted me to get her pregnant. I ended things with her."

"You think coming here and telling me that will make a difference?" Nathan's lips thinned. "You think you're going to get to keep your job?"

"No." He shakes his head confidently. "My mother sent me. Since we're cousins and all, she thought that you should know how crazy your wife is."

Nathan squeezes his eyes shut trying to control his temper but didn't help one bit, because flashes of Judd kissing Sabrina appear before his eyes. He opens his eyes and almost smiles at the pleasure of knowing what he was about to do next. He cocks his arm back and with full force punches him straight in his face.

Judd stumbles back and grabs his nose. "Shit!" He stumbles back. You broke my fucking nose!"

"Then you should get out, I enjoyed that too much."

Judd laughs. "I enjoyed your wife too much." She couldn't stop telling me how much you weren't giving her what she wanted." He laughs again. "She practically begged me to give it to her."

Nathan rushed Judd again grabbing him by the collar. Grinding his teeth in fury.

"Go ahead, hit me." He smiles wickedly. Blood filled his mouth. "Go to jail for her."

Nathan looks at Judd's disgustingly. "You're not worth the saliva I want to spit on you." He releases Judd and he drops to the ground.

Present

Nathan's hand tightened around his mug. Sabrina had the guts to tell half of the story. Yes, Judd confessed his love to her, but how convenient for her to leave out the part where she accepted his advances and wanted to get pregnant by him, or the fact that he was the one that ended it with her. He wished that she came to him with the truth. He would have gotten her help. Now he just can't trust her.

She must have wanted a child so bad that she didn't care who the father was. He wasn't giving in to her obsession, so she moved on to anyone that would. When Judd rejected her, and her idea, she came running back to the sucker Nathan, who worshipped the ground she walked on. Dumb Nathan, who took her word for it when she said her lipstick was smudged, or that she wanted to go to her mother's house just for space. He greets his teeth. She's a liar and he hated her. Just then, a knock came from behind his door.

"What!" He barks.

It was his new assistant Genevieve. Jill left to be a mother and wife first and he had to find a replacement, and she was irritating him.

"Why aren't you using the intercom?" He demands an answer. She could have been using the intercom but keeps pointlessly disturbing him. Every day she came in with an outfit that became shorter and shorter, and her cleavage seems to have gotten lower and lower. Since she began working there last month she's been giving him the fuck me eyes. He knew she wanted him, and truthfully, he's been contemplating on whether or not to scratch her itch. "Your mother is on line two." She backs out the door quickly.

He presses the button for line two. "Hello."

"Hi, son." She used to call him son all the time. It used to bother him. Now they were closer than they have ever been before. She changed for him. Accepted Sabrina and was happy for his happiness.

Sabrina was his whole world. His everything. He didn't care to have anyone other than her in his life, but then she betrayed him. When he turned around to pick up the pieces of his life, there was his mother to help him. When he realized that, he began trying to accept her the way she is. He even bought her a condo in his building.

"I called your cellphone, it's going to voicemail." Her little way of letting him know that she didn't want to call his office but had no choice.

"Is something wrong?" He asks.

"No, I was wondering how you were doing after seeing Sabrina yesterday."

He blew out a frustrated breath. How quickly he wanted to lose his patience with her. But he greets his teeth. "It's not something I want to talk about."

"Are you two getting back together?"

"What? Why would you even ask that?" He wanted to tell her to mind her business.

"I don't know." She pauses. "I just don't want her to hurt you again. And I see the same look in your eyes your father had for Mariel."

"I'm not Desmond." His jaw tightens. He's an idiot for spending his life wanting something he couldn't have. The difference between him andme, is I know when to move on." He surprises himself with the sudden anger he felt when he was compared to his father.

"I just wanted to check on you. I know that it must have been hard on you seeing her."

"Not at all." He almost believed himself.

"So you're ok?" She presses on.

"Yes." He clenched his jaw." Just very busy." She was out of her mind if she thought he was going to sit here and talk about his feelings with her.

"Of course, I'm sorry." She apologies softly. "I'll let you go."

"I'll see you later." He hangs up. Before his mind could roam to Sabrina he dives back to work.
