Episode 102

Estarossa’s POV

I saw the little moon princess finally pass out from the pain about 15 minutes after I completed the transfer of power and swapping our eyes. I was amazed that she stayed as long as she did. She is nothing like that other she wolf, Jayde. Jayde’s wolf was strong, but Jayde herself was nothing more than a weak human. Melody has been without her wolf for the last couple of days and is still trying to hold her own.

I respect her strength and courage to stand up to me. I guess that is why I don’t feel the need or joy to hurt her like I did to Jayde. Her screams as I was doing the ritual made my chest hurt. I wanted to stop, but I have come too far for that. I looked up at the red moon. Once I said the final phrase in the language of the demons that Ultear had taught me. I felt a massive thund in my chest. I dropped to my knees as I felt my heart rate speed up and my body temperature rise.

I grunted as I felt my bones snap and break. Everything was so painful. My bones shifted and then reattached themselves. I felt my face extend into a snout. My teeth became larger and sharper.I looked down and saw silver fur starting to sprout through the pores of my skin. My clothes had started to tear and shred as I started to grow in size. I closed my eyes and panted, Waiting for the pain to end.

When the pain finally disappeared, I opened my eyes to see that there were two large silver wolf paws in front of me. I struggled for a moment, but finally managed to stand up. I was a bit wobbly but after a few minutes I got the hang of being on four legs.

Then the earth shuddered with a thunderous thud coming from the right of me. I turned to see Dalinda, my twin sister’s dragon, landing hard onto the ground with such forces that she caused the whole valley to shake. Melody’s mates, brothers, and friends slid from Dalinda’s back. Dalinda then shifted back into Jasmine. Seeing her standing there without her blind fold on made me feel both irritated and happy at the same time. Happy that I got to show her that I was not the weak human in our family anymore, but irritated that she was in her battling armor with the other family sword strapped to her back.

If she was here for a fight, then she would get one. I snapped my big jaws at her and snarled. She looked at me with shock all over her face. “Estarossa?” She asked in a voice that was barely above her normal tone. If I was still human, I wouldn’t have been able to hear her with the distance between us, but I heard her clear as a bell. I lifted my massive head and howeld into the night sky. ‘My love, if you don’t break the pillars before the eclipse is over, then all of our plans will have been for nothing.’ Ultear’s sweet voice rang in my head. I nodded and turned my attention away from Jasmine.

I no longer needed the little moon princess, so they can take her and leave. I just need to break all five of the stone pillars that circle the stone table. That will free Demon Lord Leviathan. According to Ultear, the sun god Helios destroyed the demon lord’s physical body, but broke his soul into five pieces and imprisoned them in these pillars. Carving all sorts of wards and charms all over them. I ran full speed and rammed my big body into the first pillar. Cracking it, but not breaking it all the way.

“No brother, stop that!” I heard Jasmine roar. I looked back at her and snarled. Taking a few steps back, I rammed into the pillar again. Breaking it in two. A dark blackish-purple mist started coming out of the pillar. ‘Good this one is done. Now the others.’ Ultears said. ‘Ok.’ I replied. I turned to start the next pillar, but a large wolf was in front of me. It was Kira. “I will not allow you to bring that monster back to this world. He will destroy everything.” Kira snarled. I forgot that the beasts of beast humans could speak out loud… I wonder if I could. I was part beast human, even if I had no beast. “You will not stop me Kira. Take the moon princess and leave. I will do what I must.” I answered. My voice was much deeper and more animalistic than normal.

Kira snarled and planted her feet firmly on the ground as if she was a wall. “I can not allow that. As alpha of the Ember Clan and as your sister. I will stop you no matter the cost.” She snapped. “Then I will just have to tear you down here and now.” I growled back. I lowered myself and then charged right at her. Ramming my body into Kira’s made both of us tumble. We snapped and clawed at each other. She was aiming for my neck, so I aimed for hers. I was surprised that even without all the training I saw the werewolves do back in the other world. I was still holding my own against Kira’s trained strength. I get it was the strong b***d from Melody and the primal instincts of the animal or something.

After rolling around on each other for a couple of minutes, I caught her by her leg and swung my head around. I was in shock at how much easier my new strength made it for me to swing her around almost like a dog toy. When I let her leg go, she went flying. More luck for me when I saw Kira smack right into the next pillar. I wasted no time and rammed into Kira, sending both of us into the pillar. ‘Two down, three to go.’ I thought to myself as I saw the second pillar being consumed in the same smoke as the first.
