Episode 103

Third Person’s POV

As Kira and Estarossa were rolling around, clawing and biting each other. Drake, Luca, Jeremiah, Terrance, Ethan, and Riley started heading towards the stone table where Melody was chained down. Though the b***d flowing down her face from when Estarossa swapped eyes with her had been dripping onto the table. As soon as the first stone pillar fell to the ground, the seal had begun to break.

The demon Ultear had been prepared to have thousands of demons start ramming into the gateway that connected the demon realm to Edolas. So that as Estarossa destroyed the stone pillars, they could create openings within the seal of the valley and enter Edolas once again. A few demons had broken through and were standing between Melody and her mates. Kai, Kayla, and Natalia were still dealing with not only the birds of paradise, but any other demons that were now appearing in the sky.

“Get the hell out of my way!” Riley roared as she drew her sword. She used her speed and strength to decapitate every demon that stood between her and Melody. It worked until she was grabbed by a troll size demon and flung into the base of the mountain. Before Riley could get up a giant fist was brought down on her. The same troll size demon was laying blow after blow forcing Riley’s body to go deeper and deeper into the mountain.

“LEAVE HER ALONE!” Terrance roared as he shifted into Thor, shredding his clothes into tiny pieces. Thor was now practically faster than lighting. Within a second he was behind the demon and sank his fangs into the back of the beast’s neck. While using his claws to tear at the monster’s back. The demon reached for Thor only to be met with Apollo’s strong jaw clamping down on his arm and tearing the lim from his body. As the creature cried out in pain, Thor twisted his head to the right a bit, and snapped the creature’s neck.

They both dropped the now lifeless demon and turned to check on Riley. She coughed a bit and struggled to get out of the hole. Apollo gently grabbed the hem of her shirt and helped pull her out of the mountain. Thor and Apollo whimpered a bit as they looked her over. Her l*p was busted open and her nose was bleeding. She was definitely going to be black and blue tomorrow. “I’m okay. We need to get Melody off that table.” She croaked out. Both wolves nodded their giant heads.

The smell of ash, rotten flesh, and b***d started to fill the air as everyone was fighting the demons that were literally popping up out of nowhere. Luca and Carter had also shifted into their wolves, while Drake shifted into his bear. They all started tearing the throats of any demon that entered their path. Ren was swinging her hiraikotsu with such force that it was not only cutting through demon flesh, but the solid stone around them. She was trying to be careful to not hit any of the remaining pillars.

Robin had used his whirled wind sickles to cut through the silver chains binding Melody to the table, as he used his chain and sickle in his hands to kill the demons between them. It was starting to feel like they were not getting anywhere though. The more demons they killed, the more demons that were showing up to replace them. The demons are loyal servants to the demon lord and wanted nothing to stand between the foolish alchemist and their queen’s plan to resurrect him once again. Even if the only way to be of service was to die while stalling the enemy.

Grace was in her small form since she had to ride on Dalinda to get there. Though that does nothing to cripple her giant strength. Her punches and hits with her battle hammer were causing massive damage to the demons that received them at the other end.

Kira and Estarossa were still entangled in a match of their own until a serpent demon decided to intervene. It wrapped Kira into a death grip and started to slowly crush her. Estarossa took this chance to work on the other pillars. Kira growled and bit deeply into the serpent’s body, piercing through its thick scales. Lighting came down from the sky, striking the serpent and Kira both. Estarossa had managed to bring down another pillar when he turned and saw the serpent’s body crumble away into dust as a snarling Kira began to charge at him again.

Estarossa didn’t want to waste anymore time with Kira so he ignored her and ran towards the next pillar, hoping that another demon would get in her way while he destroyed the remaining two pillars. He was so close. He almost had everything he had wanted, what he thought that he deserved.

Kira had almost caught Estarossa, but another demon had rammed into her from the side. She growled. She needed to stop him from bringing that monster back to this world. She wanted to use her ability ‘death strom’ to clear most of the demons away, but that was too risky with Melody unconscious. Natalia could put a shield around the others quickly, but Melody would get swept up in the storm because no one can get to her. Kira then used a different ability that she had. It was called shadow movement. She jumped into the shadow of the demon blocking her path and within seconds she was now next to Estarossa.

His front paws on the pillar to push it over. Kira clamped her teeth onto one of his paws, making him howl in pain. She whipped her head and flung him to the ground. He rolled and growled at her. “Why must you always get in my way? Why don’t you just take the little moon princess and leave?” He snarled. “Are you blind? You are trying to bring back an ancient evil back and thought I would just allow that to happen? Leviathan will destroy everything he comes in contact with, including you idiot.” She snapped back.

“Oh you now care about me all of a sudden? What a joke.” Estarossa said, running at her at full speed. Kira braced herself so she would not be thrown through another pillar. ‘What did he mean by that remark? We have always cared about our big brother.’ Dalinda asked Kira and Jasmine though their mind link. ‘I don’t know.’ Kira replied, but then focused back on the fight before her. ‘That must be how others in the village had made him feel in the past before he snapped.’ Jasmine said. ‘That may be true, but why is he so strong right now? He just got this wolf.’ Kira asked as she rammed into Estarossa causing them both to tumble away from the pillar.

‘His alpha b***d must be starting to come forth. If we don’t end this soon he could lose control of it.’ Dalinda said. Kira was just about to swipe her massive paw across Estarossa’s face, and hopefully knock him out, when some kind of blolo whip wrapped itself around her raised paw. Then a strong force pulled her back and she g*****d as she felt herself land on a pile of sharp rocks. Estarossa looked up at the other end of the bolo whip. Ultear was floating in the air as she retracted her whip. “Go finish destroying the pillars, I will handle this mutt.” She said in a calming voice.

Estarossa nodded his head and went back to work on the pillars. There were only two more, he could easily take care of it as long as no one else got in his way. He had to hurry though. The lunar eclipse was almost over.
