Episode 104

Jasmine’s POV

Kira struggles to get up, but she manages to get up just in time to dodge another attack from that bolo whip. We looked up and growled at the one getting in our way. We saw a deadly pale woman with black hair and black eyes. “I will not let you or that pathetic little moon brat interfere with my plans.” She sneered at me. “Does it look like I give a damn about your plans? I am protecting my home and my clan, so back the f**k off before I rip you to shreads.” Kira and I snarled together. She let out a wicked loud cackle. “Oh my dear. You have no idea who I am. My name is Ultear, the mate of Demon Lord Leviathan and queen of the demons.” The vial woman announced like it was something to be proud of.

“And again, does it look like I give a damn? I am known as an alpha of alphas.” I barked, trying to intimidate her so I could get by. “Oh I know who you are, my dear. Poor Estarossa was beside himself with anger and jealousy about you having two beast souls and he had none. Even though you are the youngest.” She said, and for some reason her voice started to sound very distorted like she was miles away. Then I started to hear her all around me. ‘You had to take everything from him.’ “What? No I didn’t. I didn’t ask for this.” I quickly remarked. ‘Tell the truth you hated your brother and wanted everything that was supposed to be his.’ she remarked.

My mind was cloudy, I couldn’t think. ‘Jasmine, Kira… SNAP OUT OF IT NOW!!’ Dalinda roared in our minds. I could finally see clearly around me. Ultear had just brought down her whip on us again. Kira snatches the whip in her teeth. Ultear seemed shocked and even more so when Kira yanked on the whip, pulling the demon to the ground. ‘Keep your minds focused on what we are doing. She was using some kind of ability that messes with your mind.’ Dalinda said.

‘Good thing your mind was still sharp.’ Kira replied as she dropped the whip and started stalking closer to Ultear’s body on the ground. ‘Just snap her neck so we can stop that i***t from destroying the pillars.’ I said to Kira. ‘With pleasure.’ She replied with a wolfish smirk. Ultear tried to get up, but noticed our shadow above her. The look in her eyes was full of fear. Kira didn’t hesitate as she latched onto the demon’s neck. Ultear tried to force our jaws off of her throat but she was not strong enough to wedge our jaws open. Kira shook her head violently and ripped her clean off her shoulders.

‘Some queen of the demons she was. Without her little mind tricks she was a huge let down.’ I said. ‘Yeah, now where is that i***t brother of ours?’ Dalinda asked. Kira looked up and around us. There were now four pillars destroyed, and Estarossa was heading for the final one. ‘Shit.’ we all said in unison. ‘Kira let me take control. I can maneuver around the demons quickly.’ I said. ‘Hurry.’ Kira said as we shifted and I was now back in human form.

I ran towards Estarossa as fast as I could. Jumping over demons that tried to attack me, or sliding under them. I just moved around them while heading for Estarossa. Killing every demon in my way would just take too long and I would be too late. ‘He could not break that last pillar, I would surely lose him for good then.’ I thought as I ran towards him. “Estarossa, STOP!” I yelled out as I neared him. His head snapped to me and he rushed to the final pillar. His giant wolf body, ramming into the pillar.

I saw a giant crack start to form in the pillar. I pushed my legs to go as fast as I could while still dodging demons left and right. Then I felt my legs get yanked out from under me. Making me fall face first in the dirt from the momentum of my speed. I look back to see a snake head tail of a nearby chimera wrapped around my ankle, glaring at me with a hiss. A chimera is a huge lion demon that had the head of a goat and its tail was the head of a snake. I drew Tessaiga from my back and cut the snake head clean off. The lion and goat heads roared in pain, but its roar was soon cut short with Ren’s Hiraikotsu slicing right through its body.

I jumped up and started for Estarossa again, only to be grabbed from behind and pinned to what felt like a strong hard chest with the handle of a double bladed battle axe. I turned my head and was met with the face of a bull with matted balck hair and b***d red eyes. I was being held by a minotaur. Minotaurs were giant creatures with the body of a man, but the head and strength of a raging bull. I heard a crash and my heart dropped. I turned to see the Estarossa had finally destroyed the remaining pillar. The balck and red mist that was leaking out of the pillars then swarmed around Estarossa. I heard him howl in pain as the mist formed a dark sphere around him.

It was like everyone on the battlefield had frozen. The sphere began to crack like someone cracking an egg open. What emerged from this egg was what every living creature in Edolas called the ‘Father of all Monsters’. Demon Lord Leviathan was the one and only Typhon in this world and the demon realm. Leviathan let out a massive roar that rivaled that of Dalinda’s. The ground and the mountains shook with the energy coming from his roar.

He was like a mash of all different kinds of demons mixed into one. He had a chest that was that of a bull, with fur that was black and matted. A dragon face with red eyes and large black dragon-like wings coming from his back. He had black snakes for hair and three long claw-like talons on each hand, if they could be considered hands. His lower body was that of a black serpent’s tail with what looked to be a scorpion stinger at the end of it. I couldn’t believe my eyes, even though he was right in front of me.

“Demon Lord Leviathan.” My voice barely above a whisper, but he heard me and snapped his head to me. He smirked at me. “Ah the other brat that was born in that cursed bloodline.” He sneered. I growled at him. ‘Jasmine we can beat him.’ Kira said encouragingly. “That is right. He has been sealed away for thousands of years. He can’t be so strong after all that time.’ Dalinda added. ‘Right, first we fry this minotaur with lighting then-’ Before I could finish my strategy plan with Kira and Dalinda. I was interrupted by the minotaur dropping me. I looked around horrified. Leviathan was draining the life force out of all of the demons within the valley and eating it. They all dropped and turned to ash. I could feel his power starting to increase the more and more that he consumed. I had never seen anything like this my whole life. Dalinda and Kira were speechless as well. ‘We are in some deep shit.’ I thought, tightening my hand around the handle of my sword and my eyes never leaving Leviathan for even a moment.
