Chapter 11

The bed felt empty and cold. An alarm signal from Christian’s wolf reached his head and he opened his eyes with his orbs darkening.

He looked next to him and found the sheets still watered, with just a faint scent, evidence that his partner had been there. But where was he now?

He focused his senses on her and her smell reached him. She was inside the house, but she was not alone.

She gritted her teeth with the fangs threatening to break out of her. Her patience was slowly wearing thin and dealing with such a troublesome partner was not in her plans, even as he melted in front of her. She didn’t remember her mother giving her father so many headaches.

He stood up and put on the first pants he found intact. He would have killed to see Alisha’s face when she woke up and saw them together as they came into the world. It must have been quite a poem. He smiled pleased, but frustrated at the same time. He didn’t know how much he could last. And the only reason he controlled himself by having her naked next to her skin was out of concern, because otherwise the story would be different and her body would already be satiated. Damn abstinence.

He grabbed the black T-shirt from the chair and went down the stairs to the first floor, where her smell was getting stronger. At least it reassured him that she hadn’t escaped again. He was also sure that Sergei would not let her go so easily, especially after what happened yesterday.

Almost a day had already passed and the events were latent within him. The wound on his arm was already beginning to heal but it would take a while, his fangs had broken the flesh by dangerous centimeters.

He heard voices in the room and an arm went around his shoulders, stopping the walk.

-I didn’t go in there now-. Mikhail, one of the young wolves, scowled at him.

-What are you talking about. My partner is there. You saw what happened yesterday, how could it not come in-

-Steicer is good evidence- he pointed to the wolf who was rubbing his elbow for a moment- he made him eat the ground- in the end behind the mask of a serious man, he let out a laugh remembering the facts.

“If you repeat it again, I swear you will regret it,” the wolf shouted from the other side of the room, but his friend just ignored him.

-In short. I’m just warning you. You remember Sergei being upset. Well, she would be something like her twin sister, and we had the opportunity to check it out a moment ago.

Cristián pulled out his teeth when he heard the familiarity with which his colleagues spoke about his wife. Mikhail who backed away from a jealous beta.

-What is supposed to have happened in the minutes that she was alone?

-Nothing that interests you- The female voice came from the kitchen so calm that she impressed him. She didn’t scream, she didn’t need to. Wolves had exceptional hearing.

His b***d began to boil again and he didn’t know if it was because of the feeling of his partner close to him or the indignation of constantly making a fool of him.

He was one of the three largest wolves in the house and dominant in nature. That a woman constantly did whatever she wanted around him was getting on his nerves.

He clenched his fists feeling his claws come out. Since she was under her protection and roof it was time for her to learn who was in charge.

He entered the kitchen with a tense back and had to duck to avoid the knife that embedded itself in the wall across the hall. More than one exclamation reached his ears from the other men.

“Damn, I failed,” she heard him say and he growled in complaint. He stood up every inch of him but with his guard up. Only his reflexes had helped him avoid the knife. Apparently his partner hid more mysteries than he could imagine, one of them, he knew self-defense.

-I didn’t provoke her anymore. Sergei left a while ago, leaving this in your hands. He says he doesn’t have patience with her- Dylan put another plate full of food on the table.

Food that he gradually disappeared into Alisha’s stomach from him. And the plate joined the bulge on the side of at least 10 more.

Plus you’ll have to go to the mall to stock the fridge, the meat is almost running out and how things are going, we won’t have dinner tonight.

“And what are you doing here?” Cris asked the man, frowning. He was territorial, he couldn’t help it

-He is giving me food – for some strange reason, it sounded ironic – I can’t do anything hungry.

Cristián watched indignantly as his partner licked his fingers with traces of sauce. He somehow felt hot when he imagined those fingers and lips elsewhere.

“Don’t get excited” the cold words hit him as if he had sensed her thoughts.

She got up from the table, with the sweater barely covering her. She would kill all of her classmates if they made any comments. Although being in her clothes made her look damn good. Her wolf clawed at her insides and her previous rage slowly turned into desire – You’ll have thousands of years before you touch me again. And it seems to me that you have a lot to explain –

Alisha passed by her but retraced her steps.

-And this- he pointed to the wound on his shoulder still open, next to his claim mark- It hurts- He

took him by the sweater and before he could react he also bit him on the neck with his human teeth and pressed until he felt the taste of the b***d on the palate.

Time stopped. Alisha didn’t expect her childish action to have consequences. Her body trembled at the sweet taste of that man’s b***d. A painful throb rushed through her chest and she thought she would lose her stability.

Dylan just exclaimed as her beta let out a grunt of pain and something else.

Louva, Steicer and Mikhail entered the kitchen at the sound, but stopped short at the scene, as she let go of him and wiped the b***d with the back of her hand. The remains of her on her lips she licked with the tip of her tongue and after her, the one she had ended up in her hand. She tasted better than all that food she had digested that had barely quelled her hunger.

Cristian caught her gaze. His orbs had changed and tension rose within the four walls. The four leftovers barely saw what was happening, but during that bite, something had happened, and they both knew it, although there was one person who didn’t want to admit it.
