Tiana fought back tears as she spoke softly, "Parker, do you have any idea what Endora did to my dad? I guess it's no surprise to you. To someone you despise so much, our little family must seem like ants, easily crushed beneath your feet.

But, really, you're being heartless!

Whatever Endora did to my dad, I'm holding you both accountable."

"What are you talking about?" Parker frowned, a cold glint in his eyes.

To Tiana, his reaction seemed evasive. Even if he didn't know, his coddling of Endora was like giving her a free pass to torment others.

"Congratulations on your cozy little wedding," she said slowly, her voice dripping with sarcasm, as she forcefully pulled away from his grasp and attempted to leave.

Parker grabbed her again, his dark, narrow eyes unreadable as he tightened his grip on her arm and asked coldly, "You just mentioned that we slept together. Did it happen on Saltland Island?"

Tiana's expression shifted, but was quickly covered by a layer of despair. She didn't deny it.

Parker's icy gaze slowly moved to her abdomen, and he asked hoarsely, "And this child..." "Sleeping together doesn't mean I'd get pregnant. By then, I was already carrying Barclay's..."

"Get out!" Parker pushed her away, as if disgusted by another touch.

He closed his eyes, the thought of her being pregnant with another man's child while they were together made him feel sick.

His hands felt as cold as iron, trembling slightly. He wiped his hands clean with a wet wipe, determinedly walking back into the hospital room.

Seeing his unflinching cold glare, Tiana finally lowered her eyes, her heart dying alongside his indifference.

He was all about Endora, defending her to no end. He was an accomplice to my dad's imprisonment.

The child in my belly has nothing to do with him anymore!

Upon returning to the hospital room, Parker seemed drained, as if he had lost all his strength. Endora, noticing the dark circles under his eyes, guessed he had argued with Tiana outside. Tiana's provocative words hit Parker hard.

If he still considered forgiving that woman, listening to Tiana's explanations, he wouldn't be the man he thought he was.

Endora relaxed slightly, secretly pleased, and weakly lifted her hand towards Parker, "Parker, did Tiana mention something to you?"

Parker's sharp gaze turned coldly towards her, silent and distant.

Endora continued with a hint of a smile, "Tiana's getting married to Barclay!

It seems their wedding might even be before ours. She came in and told me herself.

My cousin is highly competitive, probably couldn't stand seeing me marry into the Doonan family. I wonder how Barclay managed to woo her. Considering the child she's carrying is Barclay's, maybe she's doing it for the child's sake. Marrying into the Doonan family, she and Cherry could finally have the life of luxury she's always wanted."

Boom-

Parker's tall frame seemed to be engulfed by a chilling wind.

His jaw clenched tighter, fists balled in his pockets.

His complexion lost some of its color.

Endora took satisfaction in seeing his shattered expression, the mockery and scorn evident as he stepped forward, pressing her, "Is it true? She's marrying Barclay?"

"Absolutely! Tiana must be thrilled, perhaps even eager."

"How is that possible?" Parker's lips tightened. Tiana might not be bright, but she wasn't stupid.

What was really going on here?

Seeing his confusion, Endora quickly added, "Maybe she's thinking about the two children, her current financial struggles, or perhaps Barclay offered her some help that made her fall for him?

I only heard about it recently. Tiana's dad got into some legal trouble due to his business. Maybe Barclay helped her sort it out?

She attacked me earlier, misunderstanding that I was involved.

I'm innocent, just woke up from surgery, I don't know anything!"

"Parker, you have to defend Endora. She did nothing wrong and got her arm broken by Tiana for no reason!

You see, Tiana's acting all high and mighty because she's marrying Mr. Doonan, looking down on us. Even though we're cousins, why can't she stand others' happiness?

You must protect your wife."

Alice chirped in with her accusations.

Parker glanced coldly at the trio, knowing to take Endora's words with a grain of salt.

But the news of Tiana marrying Barclay had to be true.

Otherwise, Endora wouldn't be so confident and brazen about it.

What a joke, she's actually willing to marry Barclay.

And to think she's trying to beat me to the altar, what, to spite me?

At this moment, Parker felt an intense hatred for Tiana, wishing he could erase her existence.

Whitney personally visited the Banyan City Police Department and the courthouse, but to no avail. The Caldwell family had somehow caught wind of the situation and arranged for a protest outside the courthouse, making it impossible for Whitney to pull any strings. Even mentioning Ludwik and Ashton's names didn't help.

If the Caldwell family insisted on prosecuting Fabian, he'd have to stand trial. Without a verdict, he couldn't be released on medical bail for his heart transplant surgery.

Feeling helpless, Whitney received a call from Celine on his way back, "Whitney, can you do me a favor?

I'm really worried about Tiana. After she left you at the detention center this morning, she went to Barclay's place alone. Then she called me with some cryptic messages before heading to the Doonan Group's hospital to find Endora!

I don't know what's going on, whether Barclay said something to her that made her confront Endora!

Could you please help me find her?"

"What?" Whitney's heart sank. Tiana's impulsive nature was one thing, but to confront Barclay alone while pregnant was downright reckless.

She quickly instructed her driver to change course, all the while understanding the depth of Tiana's despair.

Her father's life was in Barclay's hands; how could she just stand by and do nothing?

Rushing to Doonan Hospital-

Outside the main entrance, Whitney spotted a drenched Tiana. She was soaked to the bone, wandering aimlessly, her spirit seemingly detached from her body, her face pale and haunting.

"Tiana!" Whitney sprinted over, pulling her away from the oncoming traffic. "What are you thinking, watch where you're going!"

Tiana slowly lifted her gaze, her eyelashes fluttering faintly, until she recognized it was Whitney.

Her lips tightened, and she leaned into Whitney's embrace, her voice hoarse, "Whitney, I'm in so much pain."

"What's going on? Why were you looking for Endora?" Whitney gently held her arm, reading the anger and despair in her eyes. Whitney's gaze hardened, "Don't tell me, Endora is in cahoots with Barclay?"
