Chapter 1613: Even if something goes wrong, there's still me

In the afternoon, the moonlight centre.

The four members of the family went to see Aisly as promised.

When they arrived at the door of Aisly's room, Sweety darted in, "Auntie, auntie, can I hold my brother?"

The brother she was talking about was asleep in a cot next to her.

The sight of her sleeping brother instantly silenced Sweety, who carefully leaned over the edge of the bed and whispered, "He's so cute, I love him so much, he's so good when he's asleep!" Sweety couldn't resist nudging her hand on the little baby's face and saw him sniffle and giggle again in a small voice.

"Mummy, when will my brother call me sister?"

Seeing her full of joy and a little bitter that her brother couldn't play with her, Eloise said with amusement, "When he's older, he'll be able to call you sister."

Hector's mother glanced at Solomon, who was standing nicely, and then looked at the baby in the cot, "At first glance, this little one looks quite a bit like Solomon when he was little." Eloise asked, a little curiously, "Really?"

"Why would I lie to you, it does." Hector's mother laughed.

She knew that Eloise had always regretted not being a part of Solomon's early childhood and did not continue the conversation.

Eloise's gaze grew softer as she looked at the little baby, and she couldn't help but take a few steps forward and examine it carefully, picturing in her mind what Solomon would have looked like as a child. She watched intently for a long time, and no one disturbed her.

A short while later, the little one woke up and Sweety was a little surprised, "Mummy, brother's awake!"

After saying that, she turned her head to look at Aisly again, "Auntie, can I hold my brother?"

Seeing that the baby wasn't crying either, Aisly nodded, "Of course you can, Sweety is our little baby's big sister."

Eloise sat down on the sofa with the baby in her arms before handing him over to Sweety, with a false hand to protect the two children.

Solomon followed suit, looking at the baby who supposedly looked a lot like himself as a child.

Hector stood by, his heart softening as he watched the circle of children surrounding Eloise.

The family spent the afternoon at the centre and before they left, Sweety ran up to the baby and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

She whispered, "Be good, brother, and grow up quickly, I'll see you again in a few days."

The next day, after dropping Solomon and Sweety off at school together, the couple went to the Rogers Group.

After walking into the chairman's office, Hector asked, "What job do you want, what position, take your pick."

Eloise shot him a look, "That's too casual, aren't you afraid I won't do a good job and get you in trouble?"

"No, you won't make any mistakes, and even if you do, I'll be there." Hector said indifferently.

That was said like a faint king.

Eloise couldn't help but laugh, but it was sweet to know that he was protecting her.

Thomas on the other side was a little eyeless, after all these years, he still couldn't get used to it, the way his own thunderous young master doted on his young lady.

Once Eloise had finished laughing, she squared her shoulders and said, "Just do what I'm good at, advertising planning, and hopefully that will help you."

At that, Hector wasn't the least bit surprised and turned his head to Thomas, "Thomas, what positions are currently vacant in the planning department?"

Thomas coughed, but in his heart he couldn't help but say, "Haven't you already arranged for the young lady's position? The deputy manager of the planning department!

But he didn't dare to say so, so he just followed the script and said, "The position of deputy manager of the planning department is still vacant."

Eloise was a little surprised to hear this and was busy saying, "Hector, I haven't had any contact with work for a long time, so it's better to start from the bottom. Otherwise, if you don't do well, not only will you lose face, but the other staff won't feel comfortable in their hearts either."

When the other staff saw Eloise, they all followed suit and stood up, "Madam Chairman."

Eloise nodded her head and greeted the staff politely again.

Thomas took the time while Eloise finished her greeting to step forward and introduce herself, "From today, madam is the deputy manager of the planning department."

At that, all the staff were stunned and someone quickly responded, "Hello Deputy Manager."

Then a group of people followed suit and changed their titles with a very respectful attitude.

"Everyone doesn't need to be so formal, although I am the chairman's wife, from today onwards, I am even a member of the planning department, in the future, please give me more guidance." "Yes, yes, yes." The manager hurriedly responded.

Seeing that they were even more confused, Eloise had no choice but to say, "Let's get back to work, everyone."
