Chapter 50 Don't Act Impulsively

"It doesn't matter. I like to hear it,"

Benjamin said indifferently. After that, he patted Lyman's shoulder and advised, "Uncle, you should think twice before you do anything. I advise you not to do anything that you'll regret later on." Puzzled, Lyman asked, "Boy, what are you talking about?"

He had a hunch that this little guy knew something and it appeared as though the child was warning him, but he couldn't figure out what he had said wrong.

Benjamin flashed a mysterious smile. "But Uncle, if you don't want your company to close down, you shouldn't act so impulsively."

"When did I act impulsively? I..."

Lyman was about to say that he had done nothing, but he suddenly realized something. "Were you talking about the fact that I'm planning to shut Daryl out?" He finally got it! Winking at him, Benjamin said in a low voice, "Uncle, if you take good care of her, I'm sure that at some point, your situation will get better."

Benjamin rolled his eyes secretly.

"Whatever you say,"

Benjamin said as he averted his gaze. "Anyway, just don't mess with Daryl. This is the biggest mercy I can provide you as a nephew, Uncle."

Staring at him in confusion, Lyman pondered for a moment. "But you must be right. Daryl is actually beautiful, and she's an excellent actress. Five years ago, I wanted to sign her, but she refused and quit. Since you're all protecting her, I won't do anything to harm her." He signed.

Benjamin nodded and reached out his hand to touch his uncle's head. With a relieved smile, he said, "That's good to hear." Leaning against the bench, Lyman crossed his long legs and said, "Well, my dear nephew, I have another question. Since you're behind Daryl, why don't you just give her the leading role?"

Regarding this topic, both Benjamin and his father were also puzzled about it.

Lyman thought that this was probably just Zack's way of doing things.

Benjamin scowled. "I have to go back to class!"

He swore to his father that he would always be on time for his classes for the following month.

Lyman was confused by the fact that Benjamin was obediently attending school and Zack was willing to support a has-been actress. "All right, fine. I'll escort you back." Afterwards, Lyman sent Benjamin back to his class.

Daryl immediately recognized him. He was the CEO of the biggest entertainment company in D City. This man had visited her several times in the past, asking her to sign a contract with his company. But back then, her contract hadn't expired yet. When it finally expired, Daryl quit and married into the Lu family.

"It's really him." Sofia scowled.

"Is he here to settle the score with me?"

All of a sudden, it dawned on Daryl that Sadie thought that she had tricked Lucy. And Lyman was Lucy's boyfriend and he also happened to be one of the film's investors. "Perhaps."

Sofia grabbed her wrist. They all knew that despite Lyman's reputation as a playboy, he had always been decisive.

There were even rumors circulating that he was very good to Lucy.

In a low voice, Sofia asked, "Do you think your husband is willing to fight against Huangfu Entertainment for you?"

Even though Zack was almost omnipotent in D City, Huangfu family wasn't something to be underestimated.
