Daryl felt nervous. She held Sofia's hand and said, "Oh, my God! He did come here to settle the score with me!"

Sofia patted the back of her hand to calm her down. "It's going to be okay. You have to calm down first. If something goes wrong, you can ask Benjamin to help you." When Steve, the producer, heard that Lyman was looking for Daryl, he felt more nervous than anyone else. 'My God! What does he want to do with Daryl?'

"Sir, if I may ask, why are you looking for Daryl?" Steve asked tentatively.

After pondering for a moment,

Lyman answered, "I actually just want to meet her."

"I see," Steve responded.

'Is it really that simple?'

Still skeptical about his intentions, Steve led him to Daryl anyway.

"Daryl, I'd like to introduce you to Mr. Lyman Huangfu,"

Steve greeted as he presented Lyman before Daryl and Sofia with a gesture of his hand.

With the script still in her hand, Daryl stood up. She looked calm, but she was in fact, very nervous. "It is you, Dary!!"

To everyone's surprise, Lyman flashed a bright smile. "Hello, I'm Lyman, the CEO of Huangfu Entertainment. This is my card. Nice to meet you!" Confused,

Daryl took the card from his hands.

Steve breathed a sigh of relief. As long as Lyman didn't come to cause trouble for Daryl, it was enough for him.

They were making a comeback, and Daryl would exact revenge upon Leon and Candida. If they could secure a contract with Huangfu Entertainment, they'd have a powerful backer supporting them.

"Then, thank you, sir,"

Daryl replied with a smile.

"You're welcome." Lyman pointed at the card in her hand. "If you need any help in the future, don't hesitate to give me a call!"

"I'll keep that in mind."

Daryl nodded, thinking that Lyman was being kind to her and was even willing to help her. However, if she had another altercation with Lucy, which of the two of them would he help?

Before he left, Lyman made sure that the film crew treated her well, and ordered Steve to take good care of Daryl.

It was precisely for this reason why Steve was caught in a dilemma. He was aware that Zack was supporting Daryl from the shadows, but he had previously asked him not to give Daryl any special treatments. Now, Lyman came to him and asked him to take better care of Daryl instead.

Soon after Lyman left, the assistant and the caravan arrived.

"Greetings, Miss Ye!"

The assistant sent by Lyman was a girl in her early twenties. She was wearing a pair of glasses, her hair had bangs, and she looked quite obedient. "My name is Ann Cen, and you can just call me Ann!" "Hi, Ann," Daryl greeted her with a smile. "This is my agent, Sofia."

"Nice to meet you, Sofia!" After greeting her, Ann gave her a respectful bow.

As she stared at the assistant, Sofia felt a strong youthful energy coming from her. It made her remember the time when she was still young.

Afterwards, Daryl carried on with her work. There was a night scene today, so she would get off work later than usual.

After the night scene was finished, Sofia was about to drive Ann and Daryl home.

But Daryl received a message from Benjamin, and she said to Sofia, "I'm good. You can just drive Ann home. I have a friend coming to pick me up."

Daryl left the set and went to the north gate of the film and television base to wait for Benjamin.

Forcing a smile, Daryl replied, "It really is a surprise." Truth be told, she was actually scared to see Zack. "Then take a seat!"

The little boy urged her to sit next to his father. "Daddy, Mommy, let's eat Japanese food tonight!"

"What? Are we going to eat out?"

It came as a surprise to Daryl.

"Yes, Mommy, what do you think?"

In reality, Benjamin knew her tastes well. He found out that she was fond of Japanese food.

"That sounds great."

Daryl pursed her lips and nodded, but the smile on her face did not reach her eyes.

If she was being honest, she didn't really like Japanese food. It was Leon who liked it. He felt that the ambiance of a Japanese restaurant was quiet and private, and always had Japanese food with her. Zack, who was sitting next to her, noticed the sadness in her eyes.

He probably knew what was going on in her head. The little guy didn't learn enough about her. Although she liked going to Japanese restaurants, it really wasn't because she liked Japanese food. 'It was all because of Leon. What a stupid woman!'

"Daddy, why the long face?"

Benjamin asked when he noticed the expression on his father's face. "It's rare for our family to have a meal out. Why aren't you happy?"

Upon hearing this, Daryl thought to herself, 'Zack is like an iceberg. Maybe even if he won the lottery, he would not smile.

After all, when a person has become so wealthy, they will have a tendency to become mentally and physically indifferent.' These were the thoughts running through her mind.

"By the way, Mommy, when I saw you come out, there was a stranger beside you. Who is that girl?"

Benjamin asked with vigilance.
