Owned By Her Triplet Bullies
(Bk 2) Chapter 31

Lexi's POV

I looked back towards the person who spoke in surprise, and it was Rachel. She crossed her arms in front of her.

"Excuse me?" I asked, not because I didn't hear what she said, but because that was all I could say at the moment. How could she come up to me and ask me if I liked Mason or not so directly? "Do you like Mason or not?" she repeated. I scoffed in disbelief. I had thought she was going to apologize for the way she confronted me so directly, but all she could do was repeat herself. "Aren't you being rude? How can you walk up to someone and the first thing you can ask is that sort of question?" I retorted.

"It's nothing difficult. All you have to say is yes or no," she shrugged.

"And why would I say that? I'm not entitled to answer your questions," I replied.

"So you do like him? Isn't that hypocritical of you?" she inquired. "What?" I asked with a frown.

"You go around making people believe you don't like him. Take, for instance, the day we met, you had so much to say about him. Let me remind you of the most important one. You told me he was a pervert, and you hated him. Only for you to go behind my back and go to his house," she said angrily.

"Behind your back? Do I owe you any loyalty? The last time I checked, we weren't friends and I doubt we ever will be," I responded, equally angry. How dare she walk up to me so early and speak of things I have no clue about?

"You don't have to worry because I don't make friends with people like you. If you had liked him when we met, why didn't you just say it instead of hiding in the dark? Don't tell me you thought being cold and rude to him will draw his attention towards you and make you different from other girls. You thought it would make you unique? Sorry to trample on your silly plans, but those are the exact type of people that Mason hates the most. You are just wasting your time," she declared, flipping her hair behind her. I turned around to close my locker before looking towards her again. I leaned my back on it, staring at her intently.

"It seems to me that you are the one wasting your time," I muttered.

"What?" she inquired with furrowed brows.

"You heard me. What are you to, Mason?" I asked.

"How is that any business of yours?" she retorted.

"If you answer me, then I will equally answer your question," I replied.

"Mason and I are best friends. We've known each other since we were kids, so don't you dare think someone like you can come in between us," she responded.

I narrowed my eyes on her. "Just friends? It sounds like you are the only one who has a crush on him and is still clinging to past relationships. You are not different from his numerous fan girls. Trust me when I say this. He doesn't give a f**k about your feelings." "You..."

"I don't like Mason. Not then, not now, and never. Something like that can never happen. If you know what's good for you, forget about him, or good luck competing with all his fangirls," I said with a forced smile, turning around to leave.

"You said he doesn't care about my feelings, but that isn't true. He came out to me despite the cold yesterday. He ended your classes early, right? That's because he came to me. Have you ever seen him do that to any other girl before? No right?" she inquired. She stepped in front of me.

"You should have told me earlier that you both had no relationship except that he was tutoring you. I can accept that. Mason is a genius, so I wouldn't mind if he shared his knowledge with someone who lacks it," she said with a sickly sweet smile. Someone who lacks knowledge? Did this insecure and desperate silly girl just call me dumb?

"Bye and I hope we never have this conversation again," she said as she sauntered away. I wanted to punch something out of anger. How dare she? This was all Mason's fault.

"How is this his fault? He wasn't the one who spoke rudely to you," Darcey said.

"Not now Darcey. I'm upset," I replied irately. Of course, this was his fault. She was one of his many fangirls, anyway. If he hadn't blabbered in front of everyone that we should meet up at his house, none of this would have happened and no one would have found out that he was tutoring me. I had intentionally taken him to a secluded place so we could talk privately, but he refused me only to agree in front of everyone. Indirectly telling the whole school that he would tutor me in his home.

I could only wonder what everyone must be thinking. If I get any other confrontation with his many girls today, I'm afraid I might get expelled for brutally beating up someone.

"Calm down, Lexi, calm down," I chanted, taking in a deep breath.

"How long do you think someone can wait under the cold?" I recalled his question. Did he seriously stop tutoring so he could go to her? I shook my head and went to my next classes. After school was over, I got into a cab and headed towards the pack house. When we arrived, I realized their car wasn't parked where it always was. That could only mean they hadn't arrived yet. I rang the doorbell, and someone answered it.

"Hello, I'm..."

"You can come in. We were informed you would come," she said, cutting me off. I nodded and followed her in.

"Have a seat. They will be here shortly," she said.

"Thank you," I muttered, taking a seat on the sofa.

"Who do we have here?" someone asked, sitting on a sofa in front of me. It was the girl who had barged in on me and Mason the other day.

"Who do we have here?" I asked the same question because I did not know who she was and why I started seeing her recently.

"I'm Vivian," she introduced, crossing her legs in front of her. I raised a brow, telling her that her name only doesn't count.

"I'm Vivian Martinez," she replied irately.

"Are you perhaps a distant relative or a cousin to Mady?" I inquired.

She eyed me angrily. "If I was a distant relative, would I live here?"

"Of course. It's a pack house after all," I responded.

"Well, I'm their sister. Not only Mady's but Mason's sister too," she said rudely.

"Sister? How come they have a sister? No one told me that," I muttered in surprise.

"And you, you are Lexi, right? The girl I walked in on doing something rated 18 with Mason," she said with a smug smile. The way she said it, it sounded like something like that happened. I shuddered at the thought. Rated 18 really?

"We already told you it was nothing like that. Why do you keep insisting something like that happened?" I asked in disbelief.

"I don't act or believe what I hear. I trust my eyes more than anything and I am very sure of what I saw. Do you like my brother too?" she asked, gazing at me intently. She was indeed their sister. She had a touch of Mady, and Mason combined on her. "I don't like your brother," I responded.

"That's great then. Why are you here again?" she asked.

"He's tutoring me. That's all," I said firmly.

"Oh? You are not so good at schoolwork. I now see why you didn't find out earlier that I was their sister," she said thoughtfully.

"What?" I screeched.

"Bye and enjoy your tutoring sessions," she said with a smile as she ran out of the room. Was today supposed to be a bad day for me or something? And why weren't they here yet?

I angrily brought out my last sandwich that Mum had prepared and bit into it. The same lady who had opened the door for me came out with a tray of sandwiches. She dropped them on the table in front of me and some water. I dropped mine and poured myself a glass of water, gulping it down quickly.

When I dropped the glass and bent down to pick up my sandwich, it wasn't there anymore. I looked up to see Vivian eating it and scrolling through her phone. When did she get in here again?

"Why are you eating my sandwich when there are lots of them on the table?" I asked irately.

"It was yours? I did not know. Take another one. It's no big deal," she replied without looking at me. I was about to speak when she suddenly looked at me, her face pale.

"By any chance, are there any nuts in this sandwich?" she asked nervously.

"Not particularly, but the butter has nuts if that counts..."

"f**k," she cursed, cutting me off.
