” You heard the man , let’s get the hell out of here ” I encouraged. The quicker we were away from here the better. Enzo looked livid was another reason , we had to get him out of here before he went and ripped that guy’s head clean off. Council or not , at this point I think he didn’t care. Anthea placed her hand on his chest. ” Come on , let’s go “, I heard her whisper. He looked down at her , his eyes flashing , his wolf close to the edge. ” Yea , let’s go ” he seethed out.

Anthea nodded, stood back and opened the portal back up for us all. One by one we all started going through. I kept at the back to make sure we all got through safely. As we were all going through, I felt eyes on us the entire time. Turning to look back, the guy from the council stood watching us , an unreadable look on his face. Lifting my lips in a condensing smile, I saluted him before I stepped through as the last person. The portal shut behind me. Not before I saw the sneer on his face.

Enzo was smirking at me when I looked back. He had obviously seen what I had done. Shrugging, I grinned back at him. There was no law for us not to take in other paranormal , none were held here against their will. So , the council could feel threatened all they liked. We had no intention of rebuking against them , and we definitely weren’t on some power-hungry trip looking for world domination. s**t , all we wanted was a peaceful life. All that needed for that to happen was trouble to stop coming looking for us.

Looking around , seeing the pack, it felt f*****g amazing. The pack members that were lingering around all came over to welcome us back. News spread fast and eventually most of the pack was there, as well as the previous alpha and luna. It took a while to talk to people and thank them , as well as try to get through the crowd. I wanted to get the meeting I knew would be happening out of the way , then I wanted to grab my mate and get the f**k away from people for a few days. Just me and her in our little love bubble sounded bliss.

Finally making our way into the pack house , everyone who had been present had gathered. As well as some that had stayed behind. The room was crowded as more and more joined the inner circle. Dataneye was there with her coven of females and I noticed how she kept smiling at Rosie , and how Rosie just seemed to gravitate a little towards them. ” So now we have the council to worry about too ? “Snapped Raan his temper flaring.

” The council can not touch us , we are doing nothing wrong. I am guessing it was the minute they saw Anthea’s mark that they quietened down ? ” the previous alpha asked and we all agreed it was. He laughed and sat back finding it amusing ” The council know the gods are at play here, this sort of sign from the gods hasn’t happened in a long time. Of course they would be interested. But they won;t do anything to f**k the gods off, so there is no need to worry. They will come ask if any one wants to go with them. If they don’t, they’ll leave. The council are egomaniacs , they demand respect. But they wouldn’t dare mess with higher powers ” he stated confidently.

” The council are a power-hungry machine , worse than Yianna or the dark witches. They collect things like magpies and shiny objects. They have a title to hide behind. But it doesn’t make what they’re doing any different to what others do ” Willow added. Enzo nodded. ” That is all true , everyone knows it. And when questioned in the past, they state they just provide a safe space , or that they are making sure they have the arsenal to keep all the paranormal safe if their presence is needed. My dad’s right , I lost my head back there. But all we need to do , is play by their rules and save ourselves from another enemy. We were doing nothing wrong. And as long as they do not try any underhand tactics or power moves against us, or make us go fight their wars. Then I am happy to just let them keep watching us , as long as we all get to live a peaceful life with our mates growing our families. My mate will need to interact with them and I will need to learn how to tolerate their politics and their behaviour. If they ever do anything , I am sure the mood goddess will not steer us wrong. She never has. If a war eventually needs to be had, then we will. But for now, let us all rest. Let us not dive head first back into another war ” mumbles of agreement rang around the room.

We all let out a little laugh, and the previous power couple looked around confused. ” Hers is definitely a fascinating story , if you don’t mind, can me and Violet bow out . You shall all eat and then you can go rest “, the previous luna snapped, standing up with a disapproving look my way. Like she didn’t know what we would be doing , we were wolves. It is in our nature. More laughter rang around and the previous Luna gave everyone a glare that quickly shut us all up.

” You’ll just have to wait, baby ” Violet whispered, with laughter in her voice. Bending down so I could whisper into her ear. ” Actually she said we had to stay here to eat. I see no food out just yet, do you ? So if we don’t leave the house, we are technically not breaking any rules. ” I saw the shiver run down her spine. Smirking, I straightened up and looked at my second mum. ” You got it, we will stay for food , we shall just go and freshen up for that ” I smiled sweetly at her and she gave me a pointed look and then rolled her eyes. She waved her hands ” I do not want to hear it , you got me ” she chided, and I nodded , grabbing Violet’s hand. I dragged her out of the room and up the stairs.

” Devon ” she giggled as I pulled her along behind me. Going into one of the guest bedrooms, I headed for its en suite. I felt grimey and mucky , and the best way to get dirty with my mate was while getting clean also. As soon as the door shut , she attacked me. It seemed my little minx was just as eager as I was. Her mouth tangled with mine in a sensual dance of tongues, k****s and nips. My hands ripped at her clothes , and hers at mine. Begrudingly I had to pull away to get the water running , so it would warm up. When I turned back to look at her , she was pulling what was left of her clothes off.

All her flesh came into view and I had to stop and admire the beauty my mate was. My eyes roamed her body , from head to toe. ” Your so f*****g perfect baby ” I growled , I felt my eyes flashing, my wolf wanting to take over. ” You do realise literally everyone knows what we are doing now right ? “she smiled at me , uncaring. Her hands went into my hair and pulled me closer. Crouching down, I gripped her thigh and hoisted her up , so she would place her legs around my waist.

Walking under the water , she tilted her head back with the water running down her neck and chest. Leaning forward, I licked it up , from her breast bone all the way to her chin and then over her lips , tasting her skin. She g*****d and m****d in appreciation. Moving my mouth back to her chin , my teeth started sinking into her neck, biting her skin. Her hands gripped my hair tighter and held me against her. ” Please Devon ” she whimpered.

Slowly dropping her down , I span her around so she faced away from me and moved her hair away from her neck , sucking on her skin and marking her as I felt my hardness brush against the crease of her cheeks. ” How much do you want me baby ? “I pulled from her skin long enough to whipser. ” More than my next breath ” she whimpered , making me grin against her skin. ” Don’t hold your breath baby , I want to hear you ” pulling away a little , bending my knees I lined up with her and searched for my goal. When I felt the heat coming off of her , I slowly pushed my way inside of her. Now it was my turn to whimper at the feel of her tight heat wrapping around me.

” f**k ” I g*****d , my eyes rolling in the back of my head. ” Give it to me Devon ” she all but ordered. Who was I to disappoint? Pulling back slowly, I slammed in , making her go onto her tip toes. It became a frenzy , I was chasing the release, mindful to keep it at bay until she found hers. Snaking a hand around, I found her sensitive bundle of nerves and rubbed circles on it. This round would be quick , but when I got her back to my cabin all bets were off. The shaking of her legs , and the fact she got louder and louder told me she didn’t want to waste time either. To pull us both over that fine edge, I let my wolf out , let his teeth come forward and let him sink his teeth back over the mating mark we had already created. She went feral , her hands clawing at the tiles as her pleasure took over. Three more thrusts, I joined her in heaven. ” Violet ” I growled, removing my teeth from her skin and resting my forehead on her shoulder, breathing heavily. ” I’ll never tire of you , never get bored or ever get enough.
